You need Odin to install Clockworkmod for the first time. This is a link to it.

Yes you can,
Just install CWM, reboot into recovery, go into backup & restore,
Make a backup of your current stable ROM and install CyanogenMod 7, which you can see the tutorial o the development thread.
Here is the link for the Stock Rom of GT-I5503 , in case that you want to reflash your original Rom back:

how do i flash stock rom with odin ?
sorry .. but just dont wrily know...
Have a look at this thread to find a rom which matches your country/carrier. There is a guide to using Odin in that thread as well. If the download links don't work, write down the name of the stock rom you want to use & search for it on Samfirmware.com & download it there.
it says near my packege
"This is still BETA firmware so don't moan if everything doesn't work. It comes with old bootloader and is non-wipe"
is it still ok to go with it ??
Which package ?
XXLPJ
and agin thanks for helpin...
That's Ok I recommend you go back to stock Gingerbread, and then have another go at ICS. XXLPJ is stock ICS, you can use it, but as the warning says, it is a beta.
I'd use a GB stock rom for your country/carrier if were in your situation.
i dont understand
what is stock Gingerbread ??
an what is GB stock ??
my carrier is orange, israel ....
which package in the guide should i use ??
GB & GingerBread are one in the same.
Choose Israel Orange stock from from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14505996&postcount=3
Use ODIN to flash

o and i wanted to ask do i have to root each time i change a rom ?
do i have to root when i change karnel ?
and is changin karnel is with odin ?
realy thanks for evrything
Glad you got it sorted
When flashing other roms or kernels, follow the instructions for flashing that rom or kernel to the letter & you shouldn't have problems.
Most custom kernels (all ?) are rooted, so you don't have to root again after installing them. And most custom kernels are flashable via CWM, tho many do have Odin flashable versions. My advice would be to stick to CWM flashable versions as this is the simplest way to flash a rom or kernel.
thanks agin...
thats what is used before

You can flash straight from recovery, just make sure you follow the roms instructions.
there is no different! Just wipe and recovery
Hi guys! I installed one theme last night and now i have big problems with my phone. if i wipe all device and install the GalaxyMOD again has no result, the ''Theme Galaxy S3'' is still in my phone.
I want to know how can i restore my phone to stock rom without using odin ? I have problems with usb, doesn't connect to the pc and i can't use odin.
Thanks!
Two ways. Either with Mobile Odin (get it from Google Play) or somewhere in General there's a thread with CWM flashable stock roms (don't have a link so you'll have to search for it).
i'm looking for the thread with CWM flashable stock roms, but i can't find it :highfive:
Can you give me i link ?
I'm searching for it... right now... but...
From my previous post "...don't have a link so you'll have to search for it".

You could use a nandroid backup file if someone has.
Here is stock ICS rom which is CWM flashable (released by wanam, not the wanamlite version but stock (odex/deodex) rom
http://wanamlite.com/2012/08/01/romcwmxwlptics4-0-4-odexed-fully-deodexed-stock-rom/
1) restore from a back up (if you made one in the beginning)
or
2) flash stock firmware via recovery mode
i didn't do a backup...
Only CWM Stock.

Step 1: Download SP Flash Tools.
Step 2: Download a Stock ROM from here or the Elephone forum
Step 3: Use SPFT to flash the stock ROM.
Or just search, there are guides available if you took a few minutes to look.
