Can I install any ROM?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (WiFi Only - UK Spec, About Tablet in attached Pic), and I wanted to install a Custom ROM.
Can I install *any* ROM from development, as long as it is for the WiFi only version?
I have already made a Nandroid backup of my Stock Rom.
Also, can I install either TouchWiz or Non-Touchwiz ROMS (mine came with TouchWiz).
Thanks

what is current or original (US version) P7510 WiFi stock ROM

I have been running the Paris ROM and I wanted to revert back to stock. I downloaded the hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1 ROM and flashed it to my tab but it does not looks like the ROM that was there when I bought the tab.
I have the US version p7510 bought from Best Buy in October 2011. Can anyone help me out with either the original ROM or current stock ROM. I have searched but everything points to that same file I downloaded.
Thanks in advance
that is the original 3.1 image (from IO).
you probably had touchwiz 3.1 on your tab.
if that is the case, go to touchwiz-ux folder, and in there you will find 3.1 for touchwiz.

Samsung Galaxy GT-P7510 default ROM.

Hi,
I have just flashed some ICS ROM on my latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 , wifi version , that is model - GT-P7510.
It has been delivered form Honkong.
I am googling a lot about the default ROM which comes with the Samsung Tab 10.1 - GTp7510 initialy , but I couldnt find any one.
Can some one plz post the link for that.It will be life saver for me.
Also I think Default ROM is also called as Stock ROM.And for flashing it we have to put it in the Phone's internal memory and select it from the option "update from SD card" after wiping the cache and default data.Plz let me know on this as well.
I have already installed the ClockWork Recovery Mode.Plz assist.

[Q] Which CM10 ICS ROM has the best flash player?

i recently upgraded to the stock ICS via update from Samsung and there was no flash player. So i followed the guide on XDA to install flash player but it was really slow and glitchy. So i went back to the stock 3.2 firmware.
I really like the ICS firmware but i use my tab to mainly watch flash videos. So my question is there any CM10 ICS roms that has the flash player working as smooth as the original 3.2 firmware? I have the P7510 - WiFi US verison btw. Thanks.
I prefer to use the CM10 mod since i use the same on my Sensation and like it.

I think you are mistaken, cm10 is jelly bean and cm9 is ics. In my opinion, cm9 is waayyy smoother than stock ics, and as ics it supports flash. If you want cm10 you'll need the modded flash because it's not officially supported -- but just google it, there's a guide on xda.

Which ROM to install to P7500 3g?

Hello everyone
I'm thinking to install a custom ROM to my P7500 3g but still not sure which one. I specially want to play my 720p brrip movies on my tablet. Any good roms to recommend? btw i used overcome rom like last year, the first release i think. it was good but couldnt follow the hack scene since.
If you have no special needs not covered by stock rom i would advice to stay on stock rom.

Well the stock rom starts on lagging on me lately and uses too much of the ram.Plus since I havent heard of jelly bean coming to the tab 10.1, i wanted to try the custom roms.do you recommend the cm 10.1 or the overcome rom?
I have no personal experience with other Roms on my P7500 but i have tried cm10 on my other Android devices. From what i read on the xda forum i am not at all sure that another rom (ICS or JB) will improve my Tab rsponsiveness. My Tab runs currently extra smoothly with stock 3,2 HC rom, rooted and overclocked with setcpu app using Pershoot's kernel (thanks)

Be very careful .. I bricked my first tab by simply putting an american rom on it by accident. When I went to factory reset from the recovery it triggered DSOD and locked the device.. A very rapid learning curve indeed!!
aaanyway....
Been on CM10.1 for a week now on my GT-P7500.. fast , buttery smooth and a pain free install....make a nandroid backup from recovery first !! do a wipe and factory reset afterwards. I love the look and feel of it now... mmmm shiny
Thanks for the reply caramel.Ok i'll install the CM 10.1 too I'm using 4.0.4 now.In Galaxy s2 the 4.0.4 has a wipe data bug, bricks the device.Does the tab has that too?

IF you've flashed a custom recovery, there's no worry with the emmc bug.
