check the reboot box and hit install.
make sure you have installed the adb drivers and activate usb debugging.

[Q] Can i still install MiniCM7Pro v21 with Xrec

Hi,
guys i have been reading a lot so that i could try to get a clear answers but i am still a bit confused.
I have successfully rooted my X10 min pro having stock rom 2.1 update 1 and also i have used the flash tool to install xrecovery. I am trying to install the Mini CM7 Pro v 21 and i read that i need CWM4 for it. So i wanted to know does that mean i can't install with Xrec?
Also if i have to install CWM how do i do that since i must clearly say that there is too much information that i have gone through and really it is not making too much sense.
so can anyone please give me a clearer idea on installing the CM7 on my X10 min pro.
Thank You

1-U have to find and download (latest CWM.zip)
2-Move the xxx.zip to sdcard (root directory) (don put in any folder)
3-boot into xrecovery
4-sellect install from sdcard
5-choose your xxx.zip (on step 1)
or u can try this
1-find any custom room which one can install using xrecovey BUT!!
the custom room must be dual recovery preinstall (Xrecovery and CWM)
2-Now u already hace CWM recovery now you can install what ever rom U liked
To install MiniCM7 Pro v 21, you must have the CWM and not required cwm 4.

Thanks but i have already installed xrecovery through the flash tool,so you are telling me i have to install CWM to install v21? I am asking because nelikp didn't talk anything abt CWM.
I want to know since i have installed xrecovery can i still use this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257701
to install CWM?
Will i do any harm if i install CWM as given in the above thread?
EDIT: I hope there is no problem installing CM7 v21 in X10 mini pro
You can install CWM with teh CWM Installer (from the Thread you posted above).
Then you can boot into CWM and install MiniCM7 pro V21. Read and follow the instructions in first post of the MiniCM7 pro thread and you will be happy about the fantastic ROM.
Hi Adi,
I've installed MiniCM7 Pro v21 with XRecovery for my X10 MP and it's works just fine. I haven't found any problem until now.
And delete these apps before install the rom if you don't need it
DSP Manager
Gmail
Google Maps
Latitude
FOTA KILL (GOOGLE OVER THE AIR UPDATES)
Pico TTS (text to speech program/interface)
Voice Dial
Voice Search
Fotakill -prevents- over the air updates. I'd keep it unless you want an incompatible update killing your system ;-)

Thanks for the confirmation but i was confident enough and installed CWM 3 r5 and it is working on my mini pro, i just need some time to install the OS. i didn't know that CM7 had gmail in it. I though we need to flash teh gapps after installing CM. i usually don't use too much apps, any way can anybody please point me on how to save app2SD guide since i have gone through many and they are making a little bit sense but still not clear. Also there is a option of partition in CWM itself can i use it?
Edit Wanted to know can i use my stock kernel to install a custom ROM,since i looked at Zombiepack kernel and it rquires unlocking bootloader which seriously i am not confident doing since i am not able to understand clearly

How to install CWM on Mt15i?

Okay,Firstly I have a Xperia Neo.
It is rooted.
Locked bootlader.
Stock ICS last version .587.
I want to install custom roms which based on offical roms ( Like Xperia Team's SE Tweaked Neo v1.0 rom ).They are in .zip format. And everyone is saying install it with CWM.
But I don't have CWM! I tried everything to install CWM but I couldn't make it.
Tried X - Parts , RecoverX but I couldn't make it.
And Iam just asking it! How to install CWM ?
or
Is there any alternative ways to install roms?
Like flashtool. Can I use a program like flashtool to install roms? ( Or am I noob and I just don't know that I can install .zip roms with flashtool ? - I think I can't make it.It says only .ftf format. )
Just waiting for answers.Thanks

Installing CWM via Xparts is very easy mate. Go to Xparts>Installs>Install CWM (you need internet connection to achieve this) when a message says install is successful reboot and test or go to Xparts>Tools>reboot to recovery you should be in CWM if you installed it successfully.
Hit thanks if I help you.
To install CWM: Download this file, then connect your phone to PC in media mod, run file "Install CWM 1". That's all

I also did complete factory reinstall with SEUS. Not sure it was necessary but if you do- make a full backup before!

I would recommend to try the older version of Flashtool (0.8.6)- you can find at the "Previous release" tab at the download site (http://androxyde.github.com). Don't forget to install the drivers from the \Flashtool\drivers folder.

i guess you are new to this phone. you have a soft brick. install Sony PC companion and go to 'support' and repair your phone manually by following the instructions there. nothing to worry.
next, you cannot install minicm9 without unlocking bootloader and without unlocking boot loader, you can't flash custom kernel required for minicm. unlocking bootloader is a bit risky. remove your battery and look for the digits in the form of 11w29. if your phone has anything equal to or above 11w29 (like 11w30 or 11w44), you CANNOT unlock bootloader. you have to flash roms compatible with your custom kernel. so better stick with the stock kernel if you don't want to risk it. i suggest you could try kuyadroid or gingerxperia or froyobread or honeyfroyo

[Thank you 666shanx! Yes, it helped. Yes, I am new. It is my wife's phone which is fed up with the system (slow, small RAM menory), but she loves this hardware (red, small, hw keyboard). So I wanted to install other version of system to improve it.
I have 11w6. it means I can unlock bootloader. But, if could help me to flash the stock roms to improve the system, maybe I would do it like that.
Am I right?
Thank you!
Yes you could unlock bootloader. But you don't necessarily need to. Try flashing 'kuyadroid'. It installs on stock and DOESN'T NEED UNLOCK!
There are a lot of threads which teach you how to unlock. Search a bit for them. You need flashtool for it, which I guess you already have. Here's one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821750
But before all that just try kuyadroid. I bet you'll love it

there is no miniCM roms for x10 (x10i); only for x10mini (e10/robyn), x10minipro (u20/mimmi) and x8/w8 (e15/shakira)
and each rom version is device specific and wont work on other devices.

You have to use a ROM that supports the stock kernel. So all you do is download a ROM zip and flash CWM Recovery. An example is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116 It should work on X10 Mini BTW.

I finally installed cm6 on my phone. But i still have problem. It always restarting after the sony ericsson text (not the logo) but sometimes it can open 'til the homescreen but still it will shut down automatically.
I tried pc companion but when i try to connect my phone, its just restarting all over. I thought if I would install a custom rom, it will repair the phone.
What's the difference between flashing the phone via pc companion and installing custom rom via cwm recovery?

You can use the 2.1.1.C.0.0 ROM. It was an update for the x10 mini pro in certain areas, but it will run on the x10 mini too, since there is no hardware specific stuff in the ROM itself. You will probably lose root and cwm though when you flash it.
I've got an 'undressed' 2.1.1.A.0.6 I made for myself in zip-format which includes root and cwm, but i took out all the google stuff, so there's no market in it.
If you want to know if your phone is ok, just wipe everything and install the 2.1.1.C.0.0.
