I have a Samsung Galaxy W, and wanted to try my luck making a stock ROM mod with custom kernel for it. Problem: Can't extract stock firmware form files.

Need a little help, can't find place to download Omega Files .apk.
I found one version to download but when installed to my Samsung Galaxy S III the software recognized my phone as Samsung Galaxy S II.
Are there different version for different mobiles?

Hello i did something very stupid i edited my build.prop now my Samsung galaxy player 5.0 or Samsung galaxy S WiFi 5.0 won't boot.I have an idea on what to do and i want to make sure i have it all straight i dont want to brick it or mess it up more.Firstly, i did some searching and i want to know if this is the right stock ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192488
I downloaded the USA one,Is that the right stock Rom? How do i flash the stock ROM with Odin?
Will flashing a stock ROM fix my problem?

I want to create a backup of my phone's (Samsung Galaxy Star Duos GT-S5282) official stock ROM, in the format used by Odin software for flashing firmwares/ROMs on a variety of Samsung's Android devices. The format in which I would like to create backup is in ".tar.md5" format (used by Odin).
So, can anyone help me out on this, please?
