Well i accidently deleted a APK which opens up the Contact Viewer :/
Can someone please please upload it ??

When you go to contacts and click on a contact name, it does not open up at all :/
If you aren't sure which file it is then upload all system APK's which have then word Contact in it

I recently rooted my phone and deleted some system apks which I didn't want running in the background. In the process, I removed mediaplayer widget. I need it back now. Someone Plz provide mediaplayer widget's apk.
Also the friend's music and videos app in my phone doesn't load videos, no matter how many times I try. So I was thinking replacing the apk might make it work. Plz provide music and video's apk also.

If u uninstall via titanium, you can always reinstal it.
Open /system, /app, then install what u want.

and if you want to deodex apps
u always need to put the whole framework folder with it
otherwise cant deodex it

Freeze the main gallery.
Use titanium backup to freeze stock or main gallery....

You guys are not getting my point. If you try to make quickpic a system app, it throws up an error saying 'Quickpic failed to load, please download quickpic from market', something like that. Tried various tricks, but quickpic won't start.

latest LEWA ROM manage to do this, don't know how.
i even tried to use quickpic apk from lewa on CM7.2, didn't work :|
so for now, i just delete gallery3d from system and isntall quickpic from market

I think there s permissions different for this!!.. Quickpic s all the same Someone need to check about the permission
You can use me to make my way into default gallerry "QuickPics" for Rom

you have to pull off quickpic to your pc open it with winrar and make a copy of the lib file inside the package and then paste it on system/lib

note: copy the one that responds to your phone theres 2 files one for arm based processors and x86.
You have to use Root Browser. by using that browser you can move your app into /SYSTEM/APP.after by long pressing that app you can change your permission as rw-r-r.Then reboot. It should run.
Does this works? we all agreed that quickpick is one of the best galleries and it will be awesome to get this work. I'll try the solution above to see if I can get it to work as a default gallery.
Why do you need to install quickpic to system? You even dont need to uninstall the gallery because the system will ask wich you want for default viewer. Now... what am i missing?

Not always and you'll have to do that for every app that uses gallery.

Easy, extract one from a ROM, you can also install a Keyboard from the Play Store, from a computer (i.e. Remote install) and if you want to pass it to the system area, you can do it with an app like Link2SD
