Does the fascinate have a front facing camera or are they just sensors?
~This is going to take crackerjack timing, Wang.~
just sensors.
good day.
I've read that the international version of the fascinate has a forward facing camera, but that feature did not make it to the US version.

I got a bit of dirt between my camera lens/cover and my desk not long after getting my Galaxy S2 and it's managed to scratch it. Since then the auto-focus doesn't work and all my pictures are blurry.
Does anybody know if it's possible to replace the lens or camera, and if so, how?
Thanks!
Replace the camera module. It's rare, but i found it on some parts site for 20usd.
Guys don't know if this is a stupid question but can't we get the 2mp front facing camera to record 720p? I'm asking because the Galaxy S3 has a 2mp front shooter and the nexus has 1.3mp and they both do 720p video capture. I'm sure the SII FFC pushes enough pixels, it's a matter of being able to record them right?
not about mega pixels, its about sensor and camera module.
S2 front camera cant do 720P
You probs find it could actually do it fine just Samsung weren't happy maybe with the performance so didn't add the feature.
the 2mp camera is more than capable of producing 720p resolution hell its virtually 1080p (1920x1080). But like mentioned maybe the sensor etc isn't upto scratch.
Companies arent stupid you know, the S2 could do it but then thats one less selling point for a successor so they ommit certain features to make consumers upgrade.
So looks like the hardware is not capable of it, so no way we can get increased video quality? Like 800x480 atleast?
I got the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus because I was intrigued about the design and all the latest tech integrated onto the phone... Fine, and the edges. Biggest disappointment so far is that Samsung decided to use their own camera sensor in the front camera. Pictures from the Rear camera Sony sensor compared to the front camera blows them away in clarity and sharpness . I had a LG G3 with 2.1MP front camera Sony sensor and it blows this 5MP Samsung sensor away. I feel it's a software issue where the camera's autofocus doesn't focus the subject properly. The background is always in focus but not the person in the foreground. I've emailed Samsung but hearing about their track record on OTA updates I'm not holding my breath.
Anybody working on fixing this? It turns out that the Galaxy S7 has the same problem as my cousin has the Edge variant and her selfies are just as blurry or out of focus as mine. I figured as a conglomerate as big as Samsung would stick with what works and not try to push their bellow standards software on their popular products.
Thanks.
Hi guys, I tried looking everywhere but I haven't beem able to find any info about whether or not the wide angle lens has any focus (autofocus) or even touch focus? Or is it fixed at infinity only, with no focus? Or maybe my camera is broken? For example if I put the main camera close to my leg and focus I can clearly see the hairs, but if I do that with the wide angle it is blurry (however things, far away seem clear). If I touch the screen while in wide angle mode the green focus square briefly appears, such as with the main camera, but it does not focus neither does it make the focusing sound.
Also the front camera has no touch focus or autofocus, right? This is driving me crazy, and would appreciate anu feedback so that I know if I should send my phone back for repairs or not. I heard that some G5 phones are suffering from hardware failures regarding the main camera focus, but I want to know if the wide angle supports focusing in the first place. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!
H850, unlocked, unrooted, Nougat.
My wide angel & front cam are also without focus. They seems to be only fixfocus cams!
