After several unsuccesful attempts to cook an Xperia x8 looking theme for my Xperia Mini with UOTkitchen, and because i'm not so experienced in modding etc, I've decided to ask you guys for counsel.
So here's my thing. I always liked the minimalistic blue-white (stock) theme of my old x8. Even more after the éclair update (2.1).

But now I'm using the Xperia Mini, and here's what I thought. Maybe I could somehow use the same theme for the Mini. Screen res is the same, after all, and it's the same family.. Maybe someone could port over x8 stock (android 2.1) theme for Mini (android 2.3)? I don't know if this is a stupid question, but.. Is it possible/reasonable ? It would be great if it was.

It should be possible but it is lot of work!
You have to open framework-res.apk and systemui.apk as zip and replace all pictures from X8.

What is the fastest rom for xperia x10 mini pro?
from my using experience i guess froyobread is the fastest froyo rom....on the other hand gingerdx v005 and gintonic.se seemed the fastest gingerbread roms for me...

dx was a lil' bit faster than tonic....but im still using tonic
I am running GingerDX Kisler's version and am finding it super quick, very impressive.
Big improvement over previous ROM (miniCM v6.01)
Im using MiniCM7 Pro by paul-xxx, its very fast and stable, I recommend you to use it. ;D

Yes sure. The only problem is, that my wife has a new Ray and actually don't want to root it. But she want's other smileys in whatsapp (like i have on my Desire).
To change this i need the .apk for the Ray.
I actually have a Live with Walkman, but app should be the same.

I have many files backup using sony ericsson xperia X10 Mini Pro phone in 2012'ish. It was originally android 1.6 then upgrade to android 2.1.
I would like to restore them and i dont have the phone now.
I have found the backup and restore apk (attached). cn some one help me how can i restore the backup's today into a text/html format. mainly the SMS is all i need.
I tried installing android studio but 2.1 version of android sdk not available. geny motion also 4.1 android lowest.
