yes and android Jelly Bean 4.1 will defenetly be ported to s2 by custom rom developers once the source code is released, even before samsung brings the same to s2 officially
since already some people have succeded in porting the bootloader of JB 4.1
yeah i read about it) actually i love S2. i will buy it ... thanks for help. Long life to S2 !!!
mx player is the best video player that i have come across so far because it plays all the types of videos that i can find
the only time i found a lag when playing a video was the time when i played a 4k video which was downloaded from youtube
sorry bro.but what is 4k? ... it can play 720/1080 mkv ?
I am using s duos. One of my friend bought canvas lite and flashed legoice custom rom. There were many new things after flashing that rom like air gesture, smart stay, smart scroll etc. (more you can see in the respective forum) but the thing that amazed me a lot was that the camera was really improved i.e. resolution of rear camera was increased from 5MP to 8MP and similarly front camera from 2MP to 3MP.
.
Was that information true or just show off????
Is that possible??
If yes is it possible for my phone (sgs duos 7562)???
Please reply if there is any such rom for my phone.....
.
Waiting for reply........

It is not possible to increase the resolution from 5MP to 8MP.
You can however better utilize the lense's capability with a different camera app or ROM.
But what about canvas lite "legoice"
I saw it myself
.
Please confirm it
Actually I am new to rooting as well as xda so just please don't laugh on my silly questions

The pictures might look better due to better software but you can't increase the actual resolution.
Yes, you can increase the resolution from 5 MP to 8 MP using software (it's called interpolation - you are just increasing the number of pixels) but the end result will not be the same as the same picture taken from an 8 MP camera.
Thank you so much

try using ''MX Player Pro'' ?
@DUHAlgerianSkills Yes, but same... I think you have t800: as hardware is same, do you have freezes?
You need a 13 megapixel or higher camera to record in 4k resolution. All versions of the Tab S only have an 8 megapixel camera so it is not possible.

Ummmm..... the resolution of the screen is 1600x2560 for both tablets. Neither tablet supports video out (through an adaptor) at anywhere close to 4k resolution. So what is the point? You do not gain anything for getting a 4k video to run and you end up withna file that takes up extra space or bandwidth.
I kinda understand wanting to record 4k video, but my issue with doing thst is that if you want to record a file that is going to contain that much visual clarity you probably should pick a better camera lens then what you get on the average tablet/smartphone.
I love the screen that Samsung has put on the galaxy tab S. I love the fact my 8.4" is retina (impossible or at least very hard to notice individual pixels) at a distance of 10" (12" for the 10.5" model).

idk
I managed to record video in 4K 24fps using the open camera or LG camera app has the playstore
I know the files are huge, especially using superfine pixel resolution and other picture enhancing features. I have a Samsung NX1 camera which records 4K video, and UHD 4K, and it uses approx 100MB a minute. That's not as bad as a Red Dragon Video Camera, which records video at 250MB a second.
Do you think that the 4k record on mate 10 will be improved by software updates (like what op did with op5's camera)? Actually the stabilization is terrible and it also seems to have problem with focus...
I think OIS is bad in Mates, compared to other phone I have seen on YouTube.

That's why I'm still not sure if i get mate 10 or pixel 2,the video is bad on mate series compared to other phones.
Right now I'm also not sure if i get mate 10 ,the video is bad on mate series compared to other phones. If anyone have any information please share us.
I don't think the video is bad. I think the OIS is not that good but hopefully that can be fixed in a software update. Who knows.

You said "not that good".. do you mean not that good when recording 4k videos ? As far as I undertand Mate 10 has digital video stablization only @1080P/30fps and not in 4K.
hello XDA people, I created this video of the slow camera 960fps, and I would like you to see it, I think it is not 960fps, it is interpolation, but hey, I do not know much about cameras ... thanks everyone
