Today is final day of sale
I've gotten over 20 apps out of the sale for about the cost of a cup of coffee...very nice.
I've gotten five of 'em myself. It's not as if phone apps are usually all that expensive (ever price a desktop Adobe Creative Suite package?), but it's a nice chance to explore areas I wouldn't usually look at.

Same here. This is a great idea. Similar to the free Amazon apps deal, your basically only paying $.10 for timely updates. Amazon sucks at updating.
It's not a glitch.

Let me know how you like Dead Space, I've played them all completely on the PS3 and of course grabbing this for 49¢ was a no brainer. I've not played it past the first screen or two to make sure it ran. Seemed great except using the volume keys paused it and made it spasm until I started it again. Otherwise it looks sweet!

I just installed mint to give it a try and after categorizing this months transactions I'm curious about how it knows I'm an alcoholic and gives me a ridiculous bar budget. Lol

It thinks you drive a hummer and drink your breakfast, lunch and dinner so instead of groceries you get booze.

Lol yeah I drive a civic. I just put everything I buy at a gas station under gas.

Along with the compass, accelerometer, altimeter, etc. it also has a breathalyzer in the lower microphone port. Mine nags me all day to go get a drink, until I get home and can slam a few to shut it up.
I use mint, It is a little odd how they do some of the transactions, but once you customize it with each month it gets better and better.
Mint.com is a really great resource. I have yet to find anything better.
The App isnt half bad either.
Yeah. I have been using it since 2007. It's very useful around tax time when you want to see how much certain deductions are (for instance, the DMV). The app was horrible before but it's nice to see how far they've come.
Best application ever

I like many of you love to play games when there's time to. But as I'm searching the Market (not calling it the Play Store) I find myself passing on games that although look good, I am deterred by the fact it requires in game purchases to fully enjoy the experience.
Now... I am by no means a skimper. I buy all full versions of every app on my phones. I would rather pay $20 (or whatever) up front and enjoy my experience without interruption. Am I selling myself short and missing out by not "playing and paying" or is my idea of paying a full up front fee valid? Set me straight guys/gals.....

Unfortunately thats the way games are now. Start for free, pay to keep going. Or rather free to play, pay to win.
I played Order & Chaos on iPhone and Android when my android phone did support it. Well worth paying for.
It is better for consumer to pay once. The companies can earn more by charging tiny bits at a time.

Thank you kindly for your reply. I guess I'm showing my age. LOL
I'm the "console" generation. Still used to forking out $ for "cartridges." I guess some habits are hard to break.
But your points are valid. Just depends on which side of the fence you're on..

Madman is right that is the way games are now. I only play one game that I actually make in app purchases, other than that I generally stay away from games that require in app purchases to actually make the game enjoyable. If you look hard enough though you can find some games that have the option for in app purchases but the game is still enjoyable without them.

Thanks VB. My biggest worry is that a $1 here a $1 there ads up to more than its worth for a game that may only take 30 minutes to finish. But you're right. I'm going to have to jump in and find out.
If you don't mind me asking what are you currently playing?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
The game i spend on is Haypi Kingdom. There is no way to win the game so I dont have to worry about being nickle and dimed then the game is over. Thats the reason that i actually spend on it. I worry about the same thing when im looking for games because like you i dont wanna make in app purchases then the game be over.

Most free games are the ones that nickle and dime you to play....for instance pocket legends requires platinum for ingame purchases which requires real currency to get. .stuiped I know....most games that are more money upfront are the ones that are complete opposite .... some games I like are rpg... pocket legends/ pocket empires....things like that....I'm still searching for a good game for this note.
Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. I'll give Haypi Kingdom and Pocket Legends a try. Cheers!

IAP is a scourge. I hate it and won't play them. Charge me one price.
In theory I totally agree Creek as I'm on the consumer side of things. But I'm going to give it a go so I can say I at least fully gave it a shot. But I hate being nickled and dimed on any level.... lol

Even Kingsoft Office is better then this and is FREE - i have it, also bought via sale id quess for 0,25 - 2 years ago. This open my casual XLS files much longer - it really takes about 1minute to open 2MB file, when Ksoft or Poalris have it opened in 3 secs, moving in a file stutters most - UI is horrible, very little set up options. Did not used it too much but for that price doesnt hurt. Check HANCOM Office - Hancom really made HUUUUUGE step forward on how office suite on Android can look like. Also is much quicker - fluid handling within document, zoom in/out fluently....
In my opinion is build in Poalris or even free KingSoft are much better options.
Thanks, bought Office Suite. Blows junky Polaris out of the water.
Thanks for the info!
This app is worth it. I bought it last year when it went on sale for $0.25
Got this app for free on the Amazon Free App of the day. Have not used it much,
Documents To Go received a recent update and is currently the only one offering decent Bluetooth keyboard support.
