I have a problem with my new Xperia Arc marketplace.It runs 2.3.3 version.
I want to buy a game (there are some of them on disscount) but every time I try i get a message "the item you were attempting to purchase could not be found".
What to do?
I saw some market enablers on the marketplace but they need root permision and for that I need to root my phone.Can I do it somehow else?

Hi, i am a newbee on android, i bought x10 minipro (u20i). There is no market installed and i cannot install any applications. I have read many posts and am getting more confused.
Please can someone explain in simple words from A to Z how to install market. My phone is unbranded that is not fixed to any service provider.

Try using an alternate market such as AppBrain(www.appbrain.com) or Applanet (www.applanet.net) (Slightly Illegal)
I can only find 'MarketUpdater.apk' in the System Apps, not sure if thats the right thing, i can upload it if you want. (You will also need Google Talk for the market to work)
Edit: The Market apps i have are from 2.1, update to 2.1 and see if the market appears.
already updated to 2.1 but no market.
tried using slideme and others. Sites open but when i try to download any applocation it says web page not available.

i want to know how to install the software that for U.S or other counteries that have market , coz the middle east version of andriod dosn't have the market so you most reinstall the andriod but as any conutry taht support market

You need to root the phone and then use an application called Market Access to set your location to US. I don't know anything about rooting the X8 sorry.

usually in middle east there is no market application to start with.
search for a vending.apk in this forum. you will find one for x10mini. i moved it to the system/app folder and gave all permisions.
rebooted and found market.
that market shows only free stuff, need to then download market access and change the operator settings to get access to paid stuff. didnt tried it myself.
If you dont want to root
you can search for anthor x8 rom like UK (market pre-installed)
flash it with SEUS or by flash tool (.sin (files))

I have been trying to download the pro version of metro ui for my xperia but only ever seem to be able to find the little version of the market. When I use appbrain to find the pro version it comes up with it, but when I click to purchase it from the market, I just get a "item not found" error.
Anything I can do about it?

I'm trying to install the Amazon.co.uk app in my spanish SGSII, but the Android Market gaves me the error "the requested app is not available to install in your country".
My SGSII is rooted and with the Lite'ning v1.4 rom.
Is there any possible way to do install this app?

Search Marketenabler on android market. It will temporarily change your phone to any country.

i buy xperia live wt19a from about 10 days
but when i try to install most applications it return "Application not installed" this return for most applications and games even that work with any mobile
then i upgrade android version from 2.3.4 to 4.04 but the problem increase
now i try to install Tango that was installed on previous software and now it return "Application not installed"
i don't know what to do
