Does anyone know if there is an app that saves the desktop settings of the Samsung S2 (ie shortcuts to apps on the 7 screens)?
It is annoying to redo the favorites everytime I flash a new ROM.

..Titanium Backup? Saves app shortcuts fine for me, just not widgets.

Just backing up your launcher settings (with Titanium) should do just that.
Okay. I have titanium premium. Which of the list options do you restore? Is it under system or apps and what will be the name of the Launcher option containing the saved settings?

In titanium backup go to "back up section" and back up "Twlauncher"
Does titanium backup on launchers also work with widgets?

No it doesn't
but the fraggOr hacked TW4.5 if your rooted has a back up and restore function I have 6 or 7 launchers installed and I always end up back at that one it still have some bugs but you can even install the sgs1 buddies now widget which I love.
I've got a major problem with my HTC Wildfire.
A couple weeks ago i rooted my phone and installed Cyanogenmod 7. The launcher that comes with it is, as many of you know, ADW Launcher.
The problem is that ADW Launcher won't let me add widgets from the apps i download even though i know that the apps include widgets. I've also tried to download LauncherPro.
The problem with LP is that when i press install, it proceeds as normal, but then it says: "Program couldn't be installed".
I hope that someone here has a solution to this problem...

I am using CM7.1 build by grif and that one has ADW launcher by default. Can i remove it with titanium backup and install GO launcher or will that crash something? I'm a beginner, so thanks for probably a simple answer.
Install Go launcher first and then remove ADW. It wont crash

Install the other launcher, set defaults to it. (maybe even turn it to a system app using titanium backup). and remove the old launcher with titanium backup.
I have done it and there are no issues so far.. cheers
Can the system app thing be done for iLauncher and replace ADW Launcher? CM7. 2

Yes, but first try to make iLauncher a system app (do not remove adw), reboot your phone and see whether iLauncher works properly or not and then remove adw launcher

Titanium backup is useless. Download root explorer or file manager app from market. After downloading, open root explorer or file manager. Go to sd card or data/app and copy go launcher ex's apk and paste it in system/app and set permissions to
RW-
R--
R--
Reboot and enjoy.

You would need to install ADW launcher. As I just posted in another thread, this does not work well though restoring certain widgets like Desktop Visualizer.
If I'm running nova on cm9dx2, can I ditch trebuchet entirely?
