In my attempt to figure out the new auto brightness functionality of CM7, it appears that the Fascinate only has a on/off light sensor. When under direct light, the Sensor reads on the Light sensor levels page as 5000, and when in shade or complete darkness, it is 6. There is nothing inbetween.
So to make the best of it, I set the number of levels to 2 and chose what I wanted. I used 60 (screen) for the 0 - 2999 range and 200 (screen) for the 3000 to infinity. Works good enough.
Anyone else get different results?

Hi Guys
While going through some flashlight apps for android wear, I saw that they were unnecessarily huge in size ( size > 5MB). So I just made one for myself and its size turned out to be 1.8 MB. Quite an improvement I think.
The app's development was quite easy. When opened, it simply sets the screen background to white and maximizes the brightness. It is very bright in dark environments and can be easily used as a torch alternative.
To start the flashlight, simply say "Okay Google, Start Flashlight".

okay, I've searched google on and on for this but hadn't come across something CLOSE.
I've got a Micromax A116 with @aaryan45's Note 5 port
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 ROM
My problem is, with the stock brightness adjuster, the range is just too small. compared to other phones, the lowest brightness setting available is just too bright.
Please teach me how to change the range of brightness settings. I'll do anything except: Flashing a new rom/kernel, Installing 3rd party brightness apps(they just grey out the screen, and screen shots become messed up.)
Cheers

I own the amazed fit Stratus 3. I'm going into the app and doing this training mode and setting up a custom interval. On the watch I can navigate to sport, running training, interval. I select the interval I want and I click go. However, it almost seems useless I can see the timer but there's no notifications for when they go and rest. Does anyone know where around this? As you can see from the screenshot you can only adjust pace and heart rate alerts from the app.
Nevermind: somehow the master vibration got turned off.
Hello everyone, I am basically new to this Forum and would like to learn new things here. I have come up with an issue with my amaze fit T rex watch(not t rex pro). The always on display is dim when outside, you can barely see the time. When you click on the buttons the main watchface automatically adjusts to the light outside and makes it brighter, but when it goes to standby mode and to always on display it gets dim to the point where it is dark. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Same problem with t-rex pro, Hope someone will answer
Hey I'm trying to use the "settings put" commands to change these 2 settings here:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Any idea which names correspond to these 2 settings?
Many apps want the "High Accuracy" location enabled to perform some function, so I'm constantly toggling them back and forth.
I figure I'll let a script run in the background to auto-disable them after every 30 minutes or so.
Someone gave me the bright idea of comparing the outputs of "settings list". Seems obvious in hindsight.
Code:
[global]
wifi_scan_always_enabled=0
assisted_gps_enabled=0
network_recommendations_enabled=0
[secure]
location_changer=2
location_mode=0
I'm getting warmer...
