guys.. i think i bricked my phone and it goes like this i will say it from the very start happening.
first, im using EWjet firmware quite a while and it ver 2.3.3 base 71 and it working fine just that battery ran out very fast, so i decieded wanna to change to another firmware so i saw this MIUI prime firmware it seem not bad so i wanna give a try. so i follow the instruction about the first time and than i find out that my ver and base 71 still can go install the firmware, so i downloaded and install, but who knows once i install and i reboot and it stuck at bootloader with the SONY ERICSSON sign in the middle of my phone screen and i tried go to recovery and it seem can't go through and it stuck so i think i bricked my phone. after this bricked i did go try the pc companion to repair my phone it not working and it say download error. and i also think tried flash with kernel downgrade and upgrade it not working too. PLEASE EXPERT HELP ME.

Ewjet MIUI etc are ROMs not firmwares. If pc companion or seus don't work then search for flashtool and use this to install global generic firmware. This will put ur phone back to how it was when u first got it

hey laneyofdeath thanks for help and one more question where can i find this global generic firmware and after i flash it back. can i still able to rooted to MIUI rom again?

Edit: Also yeah u will need to start from beginning again though do u have backup (titanium or similar?). If not, you will have to re-install all apps from market.

after flash to the newest firmware which is .435 , i have no signal at all, then i tried the 2.2, then 2.3, still no signal service, then i go to JIT, and format the system which i thought it going to be back to the original again, after that, i reboot, the only thing i see is the logo "sony erricson" and it keep stay there............
did i brick my phone?
how am i going to solve this?

download original 2.1 from xda and try flashing it using flashtool which you can find in this forum. or connect your phone to your pc or mac and try repairing it through SEUS.
SEUS, is only updating the phone which it always said i already have the latest sofwarre (((((

Make sure u flash the firmare for x10a or x10i, whichever phone u have. Download the correct firmware and use bin4ry's tool to flash. I hope this helps

The reason you didn't had network signal may be that not all roms work with all basebands, so it could have been rom related. Have you also waited till the rom rebooted a few times?

You must flash bb .49 for that rom, but my advice to you is to restore your phone via SEUS and then flash bb .49 and then install miui rom.

My guide is in my signature, you can use that to flash your baseband and help you flash custom roms

What do You mean by "other models"?
In Flashtool you need specific *.ftf file for yor cell modell
for example file for X10 mini won't work on X10 mini pro
Remember to reinstall the original kernel also.
No Need for do any thing,just install SE Update Service and install original Os.

sadly not working for me. Allways sais "your phone already has the newest software" but im om cm7 trying to restore to stock.
Allready tried PCC with repair option, same there.
any tips? or (working) dl links to the stock firmware for flashing tool?

Are you on custom kernel?

When SEUS says you already have the latest software, it will give you the option of reinstalling it anyway.
Basically, it's saying there's no update available. It is an Update Service after all. But it will always just let you reinstall the latest update.

Well, thats the problem. It sais that there no download available, even though i tried the "repair" option which should a simple reinstall.
is this maybe a kernel issue?
could anyone provide a (working) link to a stock firmware which can be flashed by flashtool?
i´m kinda new to flashing, so sorry for being a n00b.

I tried to flash my phone with the cyanmod 7 but after updating now i cant switch it off using the power button i have to use the power button and the square button then it starts up but only gets to the screen that says sony ericsson but it wont go any further and i cant boot into cwm recovery please help, can i repair this or will i have to take it to the shop

I say the same like Demoniacs, the easy way to restore to stock mode is using SEUS or PC Companion.
And if you are traying CM7, you have to unlock your bootloader to flash the custom kernel (nAa's the best), be very carefully doing this. And here you are the flastool guide to unlock,etc...:

i managed to re-flash to stock via seus thanks people, is there an easy way to flas cm mod on to this phone as on samsung europa it was much easier???
I used Flashtool on my x10 mini, took 10 mins to root,unlock bootloader and flash nAa kernal and cm 7.2.
There are lots of guides on the forums, best advice I can give is to search and read everything 2/3 times and then have a go

When I bought it,the guy who sold it to me,installed the FeraLab v20 rom
Everything worked good,but the camera.
The camera said and says it's not available...
So I tried to repair it with SE Pc Companion,but it failed,my phone get bricked,then I get a little scaried because didn't know anything about ANDROID.
After 3 Days got the solution,i flashed a 2.3.3 FW from the Xperia x10 XDA forum,it worked...Now i Have the Phone rooted,flashed,working and installed the xRecovery but the camera keeps saying it's not available.
I have Achtojan's_X10i_6.0.B.0.743_Generic_v2.0 ROM
I tried to get back to 2.1 and run the camfix that i downloaded,but when I flash a 2.1 FW the phone stucks at SE text and can't do anything...
I really need your help,cuz on the forums i didn't found anything that can work...
Can someone give me a solution? Please

Hy,thanks for replying,but I don't have ICS,i have GB 2.3.3
and this is a fix for ICS...
I've got something more to tell,I just installed tho vignette apps,one starts and works,but the everything is black,and with the another,says Initialising... and after 30 sec. it gives me force close or wait app to respond...
And when i run the camera app,after 5 min,my phone get really really hot...Could it be a board problem?

for now, you can't because locked phones have a SE-GB kernel, you need to unlock it so you can boot directly to an ICS kernel
try using another gingerbread ROM and see if camera works fine for you

The problem is that when I tried to repair the phone,I got the camera above the phone, the updating camera fw,and I cancelled it because i didn't knew what it was...now i don't know how to get back to 2.1 to install the camera FW...can you help me?

Search for 2.1 ftf file and flash it trough Flashtool like u did it with 2.3.3 when u unbricked ur phone.

Now try to repair it via PC Companion. If that didnt help go back to 2.3.3 and take it to service, maybe u have hardware problem..

I tried to repair it with seus and pc companion,but nothing,then i flashed the 2.3.3 FW,
the camera still not working...so i think it's a hardware problem...thanks anyway...
