My bootscreen. Bada in korean language means "sea" so I think blue android who pops up from the sea is GREAT for androidOS which is working on badaOS (sea).
PS: I can make s8530 version. ;] I think this font is good for android bootscreen (but I can change it). I make version for s8500 and universal for s8500 and s8530.

A very quick modification of the previous entry with the changes i mentioned in the other thread.
Please keep info about font you're using or projectfiles for the screens so you can change 8500 into 8530 also. I'm also thinking about removing S8500 at all to make it universal for both Waves. ;P

Yes its true i see your works its real and from askor its works with image from other. But its an work too.
We know the must important its we find the one good logo boot.
You can use all image you find and make it better.

Well, I do not know how to paint and painting is quite expensive to me, so i covered my Blue Angel with a layer of color paper (some kind of paper, I do not know what it is called in English).
Not really as perfect as painting but it is still good and cheap (just a little bit more than $1 in my country if you have to pay someone to do it for you) and fast (around 5 minutes or less).

I did install some cabs i found on this forum (edited one that change the startmenu) and made one cab to change the titanium screen.
I can cook it for anyone who need it because the cabs i used are quite easy to be used for cooking . However, since I did it for my own purpose, I did a full backup to save time (I still have to make a backup if I flash a cooked ROM as I have many things on this device)

I do and it looks great with the paper coat that you put on the BA. My BA looks like it was hit by a bus at this point in time . If I had to call mine anything, it would be a BUBA (Beat Up Blue Angel)

On the top left of the page you will see User CP. Click on it and check the side pannel. Play with it a bit and you will get it eventually.

Personaly I still prefer the "old" one , its slick and minimalist design attracted me more. But hey, not that much of a modification btw the lack of this logo on the front was initially surprising.

So you can advertise to everyone and yourself when you're showing off you're phone.
From a business standpoint, this was a smart move. When you have a product people obviously like, you want to put your name on it wherever possible so everytime you see or use it, you can connect it with that company.
Why you all not like it? it look too empty at the front without any logo...

U r right for showing it to others,but im not the classic serbian Iphone or nokia fan that the moment he/she sits somewhere in the club/bar/... puts his/her phone on table to show off.I like minimalistic sleek design so for that for me its better to have blank front like on prototypes(its better ot have x-files front than comercial logo banner front ).Even descret silver is ok,but totaly contrast drechy white is bad design imo.About connecting to company,i always know what im holding so that falls into water from my perspective,and if some1 need proof of company u always have samsung logo on the back so front logo is too much showing of

Just posted this topic so that we can vote on a new name for Badadroid. Badadroid was never permanent, just a quick sketchup name that people would recognise.
Me and a few others thought that it might be appropriate to have a name for the project that only stood for the phone (Wave) and the operating system (Android) rather than incorporating "bada" into it, which we're really trying to phase out. In all honesty, and we all know this, the only reason we still have bada and android is because Android is very limited as of now.
I may want to keep bada in the future, just because it's cool to have a dualboot phone, but the project should really be sticking to the name that suits the project best. So. Let's have a vote!
PS. Please add all of your ideas to the topic and if they get likes from others I will add them to the poll! I just used some of my ideas as examples!

Uhm, the lil problem is in renaming repositories (in fact deleting old ones and creating new) to avoid few names appear in the same place, but if enough people want it - I'm up for it.

Hey guys. I recently(5hours ago) purchased the GSIII, in Portugal, by vodafone. I wounder what is the latest official version. Only 4.1? Doesnt even have the lockscreen widgets etc like I hoped :/
Another question - Where can I get the SGSII Icescream 3x4Keyboard where I can add my personal T9 words? Since 4.1 that samsung doesnt allows to create ur custom T9 words, and I want the 3x4 keyboard aswell.

The latest version is 412, yes.
If you type them on the keyboard, you have the option to add them; they're highlighted on the too, in white.
You can just port it, I guess. .

So this community renders useless for people who wanna use your works? Then why should Cyangen/custom roms keep developing? for the developers only? lol I though it was to enhance every users experience on the phone..
Im not asking for you or any1 else to do it. Just though there was some post out there with some1 who had it done so people like me and this guy http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727669 could be happy.

Look, maybe you didn't read my entire post. Sure, we want to enhance everybody's device, but we wish something in return, whether you provide us with logs, so we can build better programs/apps/ROMs/kernels or whether you translate an app into your own language, or whether you learn Java and participate in an existing project - Writing a patch for instance.
We don't do everything just because it's our hobby. And the CyanogenMod team wishes for nothing more than community-contribution (Logs, patches, code, translation, etc...)
To that guy in the link: He probably noticed it takes a bit more than just changing permissions and copying files, as the screen sizes are completely different (Screen size refers o everything: PPI, DPI, Size, resolution, density, whatever...). I don't understand why people don't just pull the APKs from the desired ROMs and just see what they can do - Practice makes perfect.
I did and do the same: when I don't understand something, I look online, if I can't find something I see if there's something similar, and if so, I get the source and learn from that. If that isn't the case, I then go and ask. You should do the same.
Good luck finding a port.
