I downloaded an app from the market and its not showing up in my app drawer. If I go to manage apps its there but not in the app drawer. Any idea about what causes this and how to fix it?

Put your phone in airplane mode.
Enable your wifi.
Go to the market.
Search Blockbuster.
Download and enjoy.
Also, there is a bloatware installer that you can download from the gingerblur thread just in case there are any other items that were deleted that you want back.

This method did not work for me. The market still wont show the Blockbuster app as a search result option. Anyone have any luck finding the APK?

Its does it by itself yes, but you can freeze market updater, and then uninstall the market updates

Well root using the preinstall method.

Then download a app freezer (I use titanium backup, but there's others) and freeze market updater, then uninstall market updates in settings/applications/manage application/ all/ market

I've tried uninstalling the launchers, using the home selector from the market, and a few other things, but I still get the home selector pop-up every time I hit the home button.
Any ideas?

Check the button for set as default the next time you see it. To undo it go into settings and manage Apps and clear defaults for the launcher in question

Tried that, and clearing the the defaults; clear defaults is greyed out for both of them.

I had this issue once while having both Zeam launcher and GoLauncher. I ended up saving the profile and re-installing one of the launchers. It should work for you too.
Only have GoLauncher and Sense installed

Are we talking about a third party installed app or are you talking about the inbuilt lock screen settings? If third party app it will be in data/app if built in to rom this is part of the system ui and I don't think this can be deleted but why would you when you can just disable it..
Finally i uninstalled it. Thanks for your help.
