I hi every one.......! I have managed to set a custom ringtone for incomming call,but can any 1 tell me is there any other techniq to set a custom tone for incomming "sms" or "mail"........!
No there is no way to set custom tones other than ringtone, Maybe in future updates lets hope.

i modified most of my audio notifications to include a robotic speech of the alert

I tried changing my ringtone for any caller many times. I could change in start/setting/sounds & notification. But when someone call me, ringtone I just chose didn't ring. I checked from another sound setting in TouchFlo, It showed me that I'm using "Roam Ringer". This's the ringtone that I never found in my Raphael. I tried to change it to other stock ringtone but it always change back to "Roam Ringer".
Please help me.

I do not know if someone met with something like this, but my X10 with original ROM 2.3.3 a bb .71 play ring tones correctly. But when I use any of customized roms X10 plays ringtone for incoming calls only once and then by setting only vibrate or do nothing. It does not matter whether it is a mp3 ringtone own production (short or long) or internally ring or notification sound. But the caller hear ring at least 6 until they hear the answering service.
Any ideas?

I recently installed MiUi on my RAY with FXP kernel and I have a problem with Incoming call's ringtone\sound.
1. I set an mp3 ringtone from the settings menu (I can hear the ringtone) but when I have incoming call there is no sound like in silent mode (I'm not in silent mode) but I see incoming call activity on the screen, I tried many ringtones any Idea for a solution?
2. I did some tests and find out that if I put the mp3 ringtone inside the music dir on my sd-card and it recognized by the default music player on the device then it works

I want my Galaxy S2 to vibrate only on incoming messages and ring on incoming phone calls.
Since the message tone is very short, In loud places, I am missing few messages.
Please let me know, if u know any app or settings to do this?

use a longer ring tone then,
create a folder in /mnt/sdcard/media/ringtones
put your ring tone (.mp3) in this folder,
and you can select it to be your ringtone
That might help, but is there any other way to vibrate alone?
for incoming call to ring only
set phone vibration to always off.
for sms to vibrate only
install and use handcent sms, and set the notification settings to vibrate always. and use a silent (empty) sound as ring tone.
it may work.
