Hey,can anyone just help me to understand how i need to install new software in my hd2? I just buy it,it has some problems with sms and so on,so my friend told me to put in new rom.If it's not a problem,i would be very grateful for all info about doing it,do i need any special programs or snth to do that.

I was reading all the forum,and it's only written like to download the rom and vuolia,but what after? Do i need to put the file to sd card or do it in a different way?Do i need to install special program to open files .nbh? Simply my phone isnt working normally,i cant send messages or read it,if i put sd card inside,after few hours phone starts to lag. If there is anyone,who has time to explain how to make it work good,you are god

Without know exactly what HD2 you have (european or American), if it's network locked, secondhand and so on, I have know idea why you can't send SMS messages. I recommend reading up on how to flash ROMs via the link above and taking the appropiate action based upon your situation.... We all started this way, honest ; )

Hey Folks,as u read: I am totally new to android.
But here are some facts about me I'll tell you just to say sorry for dumbp questions right at the beginning.
I have a good base of Linux knowlege and i also always was modding my phones. If it was my Motorola Razr v3i or my Rhodium Windows 6.5.
Most important: I REALLY dont want others to make MY work. Dont missunderstand me: Some People just dont have the ability to make that on their own and i think, they needed to be helped too, but not me. I want to learn it and i CAN learn it.
But sorry if I post a question in the wrong Forum or ask questions wich have been answerted pretty often. My Problem ist not to read or speak english: It is to imagine the words I need to use for google and stuff to find my answeres. So, some hints, tips or links to Howtos or stuff woud help me alot.
Burt here the bunde of my most important questions:
It all started with Adobe Flash. I guess my Pad has a arm6 or 7 CPU... it has 600mhz and i found a version for that here on xda- i installed it and its working so far for the adobe flv player and swf files but not as an plugin 4 the reguar browser or dolphin hd. any suggestions?
I also wanted to download teamspeak 3. it seems, there i have the same problem. it tells me, my device is incomatible at the market. So is there a way to get it anywhere else and my to recompile it and patch it to work?
next: i tried to root my device using androot and also z4root. it goes through the process without errors and everything seems to be fine but sshdroid tells me, root is disabled. the access to some locations of the phone still is denied and so i cant install nandroid for backups and before i will go on, i REALLY shoud install an backup solution, right folks?

well- one thing i also coud need some help... i was searching arround how 2 set my phone for data2ext4 ... but if i wont get running my phone rooted, i can forget about that, cant I? my card already hav an 4GB ext4 partition beside a 12GB FAT partition

but on the terminal when i call Ctr+L it cleans the window.
am i doing something wrong ??

There is an answer to that same question in the FAQ and it has been asked several times in the thread if you search.
believe me, ive done some research before posting...
my big wall is that i dont understand dev or prog logical spelling and i am not english as you can see by my flag.
even on some threads that i read, user cant get a specific answer because helpers and users always point for faq .

This is not an excuse. You don't need to understand development/programming or even fluent English to install Cygwin. The specific answer to your exact question is in the Android Kitchen FAQ, it's not there so that somebody can get you off his back. The FAQ is there in simple English and its purpose to stop questions like this being asked a hundred times and cluttering up the forums and wasting my time answering the same thing over and over. I didn't spend all that time working on answering the questions for nothing. I'm trying to make the kitchen instructions and errors as descriptive and helpful as possible to the user yet somehow it makes it harder for you.
In brief, simply open up the readme file and make sure you followed the cygwin instructions correctly.
I'm sorry. did not want to undervalue your efforts and your work.

browse to https://github.com/dsixda/Android-Kitchen , download as zip and extract it to C:\cygwin\home\user (assume its install location)
working only on x64 version based PC only.
rename your extracted folder to kitchen
before make sure cpio,perl,ncurses,wget,zip,unzip,gcc has installed from cygwin setup.
cd kitchen
./menu
solution
if you downladed the packages from external source then while installing cygwin when a list of apps appears on top left of list search for default and keep clicking on it until install appears. it will solve the 'clear' problem. if still persists contact me. hit thanks if i helped.

Cygwin not working
Hello guys. I have done what you have said in regards with the installation (installed correct 32bit java, click install instead of default, and downloaded half url package in cygwin installation wizard) however it keeps showing the Error: The application 'clear' is not installed .
Any other solutions you can think of?

Clear not found fix.....
Need to download packages
1)Ncurses...download all your required its --a clear application
2)wget...debug, perl ,Utils , web download all
3) zip.....I download all default
4)cpio ....archive debug and Utils
Open cyngwin setup and download above packages
Secondly your java version should be 1.7.***
I solve this problem......... check for you!!

For me it didn't work, i try everything and it stills gives me the same message of clear.
hi guys. i've installed Csploit and works good...but...can someone explain me how is work? (i'm newbie) find some guides on web and i've understand that this app can do many thing ...just connect to the IP you want to control and send some order like put a video youtube on...or just a script like "hello i'm in your phone"...but HOW???? when i click on "put a script " (don't remember the name ) nothing happen...same thing for putting and img o video...why?

I changed my device ID or footprint to that of a Galaxy S6. Its a Android TV box that was uncertified in Playstore.
I tried everything I could find on the web to fix that. Build.prop changed , ID fakers , but only 1 worked.
It was something you flash in TWRP , then you go the terminal emulator. You type two lines in terminal and the it gives you options on witch ( I think they called it footprint) you want to install. The first option was a S6.
After a reboot , I could use the apps I wanted as Playstore says my TV box is now certifeid.
But for the life of me , I cannot find that thing to flash to use the script in terminal , or what to type in terminal. I was hoping someone knows what I am talking about and can share a link? PLEASE ? I cant find it. I spend 17 Hours trying to get the device certified , so my search history is does not help me to find that page I got the info on.
Please help if you know what I am talking about . I want to install another ROM but I need that script
