Does anyone know of a keyboard for viewpad7e ?
I have a keyboard for my GTab and thought with a converter for the USB it would work, but does not.
Jim
hi there,
you could use USB OTG with mini USB jack. it works for me though.
i've tried bt keyboard for Gtab, but it didnt work for me. maybe it needs some apk or something to make it connected
sorry USB OTG with mini USB Jack, what is this?.. I have a USB keyboard that I use with Gtablet and work great .. tried with a USB converter plug and it does not work for me.. what keyboard are you using please..
Jim
On my view pad 7 (without e) the issue with keyboards really was on the mini usb connector. Several keyboards doesn't work with the first usb-to-miniusb adapter, but switching the adapter, following an accessories seller advice, all keyboard work just fine.
Try with another mini converter and take your keyboard to the store to try it.
Now I'm using a common usb desktop mini keyboard with an adapter and it works perfect. And you can carry that with almost no extra weight in your bag or backpack.

I have been using this Bluetooth KB with my Viewpad 7 for several months now. It is available from Scosche for $59.99 but Amazon has it for $32.99. A bonus is it is easy to transport since it rolls up.

Got a quick question for those of you with the HD dock. Are you running dual USB devices for you mouse and keyboard, do wireless usb devices work for the dock sans drivers, or has anyone found a way to pair dual devices to have a bluetooth mouse and keyboard functional?
My dilemma is where I am planning on putting my dock, it's going to be really difficult to use wired devices because the dock is going to be located physically behind me. I need to find a way to go as wireless as possible so but at the store we were only able to pair up one bluetooth device at a time. Has anyone found a work around for that?

I've tried a couple of wireless keyboard/mouse combos plugged into the dock and neither worked. I'm currently using a powered usb hub plugged into the dock with a Logitec keyboard and mouse plugged into the hub. Works great.

Damn... That's what I was afraid of. My issue is I'm placing the dock on my nightstand located next to my bed for charging purposes. What's throwing me off is in one of the videos demoing the dock it shows them using both a wireless keyboard and mouse. It's gotta be possible, but I have no clue how. At the store we couldn't pair up two seperate bluetooth devices at the same time.
May have found a solution to my problem. At a local Compusa I found a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad in one. I'll take it to work and test it out... If it works, I'll report back.
My Logitech Wireless Desktop (USB Unifying receiver) worked fine, out of the box - keyboard and mouse.
There shouldnt be any reason that your generic wireless device/receiver combos dont work since they're simply a transmitter/receiver pair, your problem is likely with the lack of adequate power supplied by the dock. Theres no way that power supply puts out enough to power the phone as well as the USB ports so thats probably why the powered USB hub mentioned above solves everything.
OK, after searhing a bit I couldn't find the answer I needed. Do our X10 M/MPs have USB OTG. I'm asking this because I want to connect a full size keyboard to my mimmi. I found a link that showed how to build an adapter but it was tested on a HTC I think. I tried to connect a usb stick to the phone through a female to female adapter but it wouldn't budge (also tried restarting & nothing). Any pointers are of great use.
USB On The Go? I donĀ“t know, read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-1214494.html
I think i've seen an iPhone Bluetooth Keyboard, i think it`s compatible with our phones, i preffer wireless keyboards
Has anybody tried this case with keyboard on the flyer/view?
http://www.amazon.com/HDE-Tablet-St...0EBQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1322806066&sr=8-7
Would be nice if it was a bluetooth keyboard, do you think it even works with the flyer?
I didn't realize that it was a usb and not a bluetooth keyboard. I very much doubt it would work.
This keyboard does not work with my flyer, I have tried on globatrons HC and leedroid 2.0. Connection methods include using a female to female, and the flyer's USB cable; and also just using a single female to micro adapter on the keyboard end and plugging that right into flyer. Does not work. Not recognized by usb gamepad ime (not that it should be, but i tried it anyway lol) I even ran it through a powered hub, still no go.
I've tried something like this on my View with OTG cable and it does not work.
The keyboard works fine on my cheap chinese Eken M009f, so I know it is View problem.
Hi guys, I'm probably getting this tablet soon, so I'd really love to know if someone has managed to get a common wired USB mouse to work with it, and if so how it actually performs (responsiveness, lag etc). I have a Logitech G5 gaming mouse, and I think it would be pretty neat to be able to use it at its fullest with this device, for browsing and whatnot, and maybe also for gaming, like for playing FPS games like Modern Combat 3, together with the keyboard dock. I'm not sure about this becase it has pretty high dpi, but if it actually worked at say at least 1500 dpi it would be really awesome. Any experience with this kind of usage? Please let me know
Well, a wireless mouse with a USB dongle works fine with it, so I assume a wired mouse would work as well.
Hi, It works great, no problem with it.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda premium

Hi,
Could you tell me which wireless mouse with USB dongle works with this tablet? I have an old micro innovations wireless keyboard and mouse. This doesn't work when I plugin using the Asus USB dongle. It works fine with the PC.
Thanks
My Anywhere Mouse MX works fine with it, but what do you mean by "Asus USB dongle"? Your mouse will only work with its own dongle plugged into the USB socket on the tablet's dock.
Just plugged in my Logitech VX Nano mouse last night into my keyboard dock. Worked like a charm. LogMeIn even recognized the right-click as a right-click instead of Back or Menu.
i've got some lg crapper- works great.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I don't have the dock. I am plugging in my wireless mouse/keyboard dongle into the tablet directly using ASUS USB converter not the dock. If I plugin a wired mouse into the USB adapter it works. But not the wireless one. I was wondering if any wireless one work because the tablet would need the driver like in windows PC.
Hey guys can someone confirm if this will work in FPS games like modern combat?
- TF300T Dock + usb mouse
or
- wireless keyboard and mouse
If this is working how do you map keys?
Thanks!
I've got Logitech G500 and I want to say this: it rocks baby !!!
could anyone play mc3 or mc4 with dock and mouse !?
Looked around but I can't find anything definite. Is there a usb-c dock that works with the Razer phone 2 that will mirror the screen via HDMI and supports USB for a keyboard and mouse? I want to use the Sentio desktop app and have this optional setup for short trips. I have been reading that the Lumina dock may work or the HP Elite X3 dock. Any thoughts or experience with this?
Dell WD15 docks work. I'm in IT and we have these at work. Plugged up a projector with the dock and it worked. I also tried a usb c da200 Dell adapter. It works too, just doesn't provide power.

Awesome!! Thank you!!
This got me wondering, so I took the same set up I have for my Nintendo Switch. Much to my surprise, it worked.

That's the adapter I used. Charging and the USB worked.
I tested this device with the Microsoft Display Dock and it does work and even provides power.

Which Microsoft Display Dock did you mean? I searched Amazon and got a bunch of results. Just wanted to make sure I order the right one. And thank you for your response!!
this YCCTEAM USB-C multiport adaptor works
https://www.amazon.ca/Adapter-Ninte...child=1&keywords=YAEYE&qid=1594149954&sr=8-11
Someone posted the US equivalent, I'm from Canada. I saw it said YCCTEAM on the product so why not give it a shot. Tested it out with a BlackBerry Key2 and the Razer Phone 2, charging, USB and HDMI work for this unit.
Tried it with Sentio Desktop and it works great.
