We thank you a lot for developing many Custom ROMs and made our phone really really nice.
But have u noticed the WiFi error problem on the custom roms?
Any of you please try to get a fix for this problem,because many newbies like me can't flash a custom ROM and are facing a serious trouble with this error.

I have this problem as well. But was on stock rom that time. However TheMythICS rom doesn't seem to have this problem. Cheers and I guess this thread belongs to the wrong section

For me KPH is d best. Hv been using it frm d time it ws released. Never changed it. Flashed many roms on it. Works like a charm.

PLEASE READ THE RULES FIRST BEFORE STARTING A NEW THREAD.
Believe me,just extract the rom and look around.Its quite easy to make a custom rom.
An even easier way is to not extract the rom.Just open up the zip,remove some apps you dont like,change it to the way you want and then flash it.This way,you dont have to worry about making it a flashable zip and then signing it

What's the point of this?
There are very few original concept ROMs these days.
Most ROMs today are by noobs who just change some
icons, delete and add some market apps and say this is
my ROM lol. And funny thing they fight over originality
when all they manage is a repackaged pirated copy of
the same ROM in the same sub-forum.
Why not make something original by changing source code of cm7 or editing Samsung ROM(e.g.-In other forums like SGS2)

Yeah...As if,he does not even know how to make a rom and you are telling him to edit the source code??You know how much work that is??Only the most experienced devs will be able to do that.And,why the hell are you qouting me??I have been here for a lot more time than you to know what i am doing.Also,posting the same thing in multiple threads wont help your cause

Hiii man you can create your rom in two ways
1.) hard way-
This is for experienced devs only it includes downloading about 6 gig something source code then make it compatible with your devices hardware by editing libs etc in souce code u can only edit source code in this way. then u have to compile it.compiling too takes 6 - 10 hours depending on cpu if any problem then try new modifications in sorce code really it is the toughest way.
2. Easy and commnly used method which i think u want to learn -

Please take a look at vo-1's CM7 , BehradGH's CM7 , CM9 and AOSP (the previous one)

I Installed CyanogenMod7.2 RC1 by vo-1 MIRACLE Edition V4
It don't have gallery,SMS,Musicplayer,file manager etc...

Its a barebone rom and so the system apps was not included in it.. you can always move it to system/app from the download link he has given...

the best rom is cm7.2 by T.A. and MIUI RC3 by nims11 ( both are tied on first place )
they are the best roms not some random rom which has a superfluos name which hardly describes the crap features it has

its a custom rom closest to stock and way better than stock

go to settings-about phone ....
the firmware version will be present there
i 'd say you should flash cm7.2 by T.A. or stocklite v6 by tj_droid

that doesnt works with cm roms, only with stock samsung's rom :/
malaysian stock gb rom should be S5830DXKT5 or S5830DXKPB
who told it does not have the basic apps ?

Im looking at installing this rom [ROM][AOKP-4.1.2] TokoRom V2 [AROMA+OTA][Sense Style][18/03/2013] and was wondering if it supported dual boot via the Siyah Kernel , i would have asked this in the roms particular thread but seeings i dont have enough posts on the forum i cant. would appreciate help.

well..currently i am using Honami MW HD™ V3.5 Ultimate rom by pandemic..it is quite stable and one of the best rom i used till date..gaming performance is good..i am able to play dead trigger 2 and other hd game..multitasking is ok considering the RAM of our phone..lag when switching to home from a hd game..but dat is ok..i really wanna thanks pandemic 4 providing us a beautiful rom..so if u wanna dwnld dis beauty here is the link..http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/u-development/rom-honami-mw-hd-v1-ultimate-speed-t2644258.

I have pressed thanks in many of your threads (because you deserved them), although I didn't use any of them, I'm satisfied with KK.
but when I saw this post of yours, I removed my thanks from your threads, cuz I believe thanks is some think we should willingly give,
there is no need to see you[and every other dev that do the same] post everywhere in xda (Begging) for thanks, you'll lose the meaning of the real thanks.
