I was wondering if there is a very basic program out there that could put 2 basic icons as wigits on the home screen as basic as labled 1 and 2. and if u push 1 it will put a high out on a pin on the micro usb and if u hit 2 it will put out a low on the same pin. or if there is a unversal bluetooth program that might do almost the same thing except transmit it. thanks

So what, you're just going to sit there and press buttons to change the value back and forth? Are you on cocaine?
.. I assume he's looking for a prototype/proof of concept on which to base a project he has in mind. That or cocaine.
There was a discussion on the G1 forums about using a G1 for servo control for remote control airplanes a long time ago. From what I understand, they got it completely working. You might be able to search for it and get some ideas. Other than that, I got nothing. Sorry

I used get. Root whenever I want on a pc loaded with a unix program.
Then I has a minor stroke that zapped my memory only like I can't remember my pet name and since then I call my wife

Im working at preparing a list of a bugs with the new update, I have made a simple spreadsheet. I have heard of some of the issues but it would help if you had a logcat or other technical info to share in reporting.
Please do not submit errors regarding:
Errors to do with a custom rom
apps that are not pre-installed or Samsung
Issues due to you rooting your device
Or anything else that is your own fault (IE: I put my phone in water to cool it down, now it no turn on?!)

I get force close on stock ED01 when opening another window on stock browser. It forces closes when I switch between windows.

May wish to change the title, seeing as this is the entire reason for entering this thread.
Id be grateful for some help - i'm a UK user on Orange.. Yesterday i received an onscreen message from HTC saying that an important update needed to be downloaded and installed .. something ton do with 3d games.
anyway, i followed their instructions and allowed the update to happen - and now the screen doesnt pop into 3D anymore.. it shows the stereoscopic images that are in the phones memory, but theyre shown as flat, 2D images instead.
Can anyone tell me if theyve experience the same or similar and what i can do to uninstall the update and get 3D working again?

I'm big into making people and the community happy so I'm wondering what you guys would like to see next for the Prime. Keep in mind the restrictions we have right now with the locked bootloader. I have an idea to add init.d support even with the kernel not supporting it, more information to come. But what else would you like to see? Please throw around some (realistic) ideas here and I will add a poll later when I see some ideas flowing. I would love to work on a way to still make ROMs with the bootloader locked. It could be don't with fastboot, but that isn't an option with this device so i need to keep thinking

I want to see the battery settings issue fixed so we can see 3rd party apps & not just system resources
I want to see the GPS on/off switch put back into quick settings like it was in HC
I really want to see ad hoc network acceptance fixed like we had days ago under HC so we can tether if no native tether app on our phones (wpa_supplicant files?)
