The cover has a hinge on it which keeps it closed. It snaps into the dock connectors then opens and closes similar to a laptop lid. I saw it on one of the reviews, but I have looked at so many videos I can't remember which one it was, but the guy liked it. I wonder how strong it is though.
Any concern that this sleeve doesn't cover the back side?

word. just ordered one as well. nice find, kind of a leather case combined with a smart cover.
Before you start to order stuff, what if you want to just hold onto the tablet with your hand and NOT use the stand? Looks like you will have a large flopping cover to deal with which looks to be a pain in the butt. There will be times I want to use my tablet on the go and not use a stand at all...the last thing I want to deal with is the cover getting in the way. Maybe that's why they don't post any pictures of it in a NON stand way? There will be much more out there soon once the tablet picks up pace.
Eh... I had one similar on the xoom and it was fine. You fold it behind. Point is you will most always use the lap angle

Yes and it's better than the wedge in the back type stand. I am sure better cases will be made but this is a great starter for protection

A lot of these cases would be fine if they weren't fake leather. If for instance they were lightly texture vinyl instead or silicon. Fake leather electronics cases always feel so 1990 to me.

I can't seem to find a Gel Case anywhere. What would be ideal is one that is notched out at the bottom so it can still be used with the dock. Can anyone point me in the direction of any gel case? Thanks.

Edit: i don't use it with the dock... for me the dock is just for extra batery. I prefer a thin case like this without the leather

I Love the look of this case.
So much, I want to order one myself.
Price looks great as well ($31)
Trying to register was a pain to start with.
Once that was done I received a very unclear activation email.
The so called English on the site itself and the email was real bad.
After that, I tried to go back to the website to order my goodies.
But all I get is a page loading error.
Finally I decided to quit .
I even feel uncertain now about the website at this moment.
I might (hope) to be wrong but at this moment I want to wait and see how your order ends.

Just got the case today and so far I am happy with it. I like the feel of the case and it does not add much weight since it has been made from a light weight material.
The cut-outs all line up and the quality is good. Just tried taking some photos and there doesn't seem like there is a problem (I know that the cut-out can sometimes affect the flash). What I also like about the case is that I can access the charge port easily.

Lol, I think I agree with you after a second look at it. I ended getting a separate Case Logic tablet bag and just received my Sikai case today. Tried it with the dock but it really does look ugly and it's not very functional since the flap covers part of the keyboard.

I just got my Sikai case it. It is pretty sharp looking!
For me the best feature is that it doesn't look like leather or fake leather. It has a nice minimalist modern appearance to it that doesn't feel pretentious but woudl work well in a corporate environment.
Still can't find the official covers in Canada. I ordered mine from NCIX three weeks and still no sign of it.
Anyone in Canada get one? You Americans have any trouble getting yours?

Yup.That's the one good protection but limited on the angles you can use it at. Also has the magnetic screen off.
I went back to the GameStop where I got mine.
The had 1 Shield Tablet in stock, but no accessories.
When I asked about the cover, they basically told me not to hold my breath.
He said order directly from NVidia and be prepared to wait.
Ordered everything from Nvidia directly. Got the tablet a week after order, Got the controller 2 1/2 weeks after order, actually arrived before they even updated my order with a tracking number. I expect to receive them the first week of September. Just seems like an appropriate time table

I had no issues. The covers on the site and back work great. Also it is not that sticky when you apply it, but once you blast it with a heat gun or hair dryer is like it's good on. Very happy with the outside cover.
The screen protector is great too. Over all I'm very pleased.

Super easy to remove and re apply, until you blast it with a hair dryer. Then it's stuck on there really good.
