First off, sorry if this is a repost because I didn't actually get me hands on a Galaxy
S II yet and I'm new to this forum. The phone I noticed this on was on a floor
model at a T-mo store in Florida. It seems that some of the pixels in the display are
"stuck" but an the same time showing an image... call me anal but I pick at every
phone from first sight. Below is normal right?

Then on any white or light screen you can see the lockcreen still.
On the camera
Reboot wont fix, maybe if a reset would but notice it's stuck at 00:00 AM maybe form first factory boot? anyone else see this?
Seeing that its a floor model its probably always on and that's why its showing those faint images of another screen, also those tmobile sgs2's seem to have some crappy screens to begin with. You're also in the wrong section, this is for the i9100 not the tmo sgs2.
Oh that actually does make sense people have the screen on 24/7 but still doesn't explain the 00:00 time. Weird
And if i'm under the wrong galaxy device any way to get this moved to the tmobile GS2?

Hi, all!
I have just bought my new moto, everything is cool but screen has parallel lines at low brightness and on grey and blue pictures. I heard about this issue on Super AMOLED but I think that on my screen this is too match. Please, check out photos.
The first photo is white pattern at low at brightness level about 10%. The second is grey pattern at about 80%. The last one is photo at about 60% of brightness.

Is it normal or I should to swap phone?
oh snap, that is real bad, compared to my phone thats really not normal.
Yeah not normal
you should get it replaced.
I went to service center in hope to replace for a new one but there don't want to replace, they show me another phone with similar defect and sad that this is pretty "obvious" for this model. I think they are hustler or I have a luck to talk with not competent people.
Thanks a lot for your respond, it give me confidence that truth is on my side and I will try to replace phone anyway.
Was walking home, and found this on the floor. I've always wated to find a phone on the floor, but this isn't exactly what I had in mind.

All I'm able to tell is that it's a Samsung device, and it may be GSM because of the microSIM slot I see on the back. The back had no battery, no cover, no SIM, the screen is clearly decimated, two capacitive buttons missing (it takes talent to break capacitive buttons) and most buttons are pretty much loose.
I may spend a little money to get this thing fixed up, assuming it even turns on. I planned on getting a battery to test out first, then if it worked, fixing up the phone and keeping it or selling it. Not anytime soon, since I just bought a Nexus 4 while already low on leisure money, but it would be nice.
From the picture you provided and the detailed description it appears to be a Samsung Epic 4g.
If your interested in some replacement parts for the device I would recommend taking a look at these parts www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Epic-4G-Replacement-Repair-Parts-s/6425.htm.

Hello,
So last night I went out with some friends, had a few (read: like 20) drinks and don't really remember much (read: anything). I'm not sure what happened to my phone but when I try and use either camera now everything is totally grey. There's zero physical damage to my phone (that I can see). Both cameras seem totally fine from inspection of the device. So I'm thinking this must be some kind of software issue? It would seem strange that both cameras would break at once.

One other thing is there are 3 pictures on the phone from last night, two of them totally back and the third grey (looks exactly like when I take a picture now of total blackness). So I can deduce the problem started between 12:50am and 12:51am lol.
Anyone ever had this happen before? I haven't found anything on google. Anyone know of anyway to fix or troubleshoot it? I should also mention I'm on CyanFox 2.0.2-20140216-NIGHTLY (I haven't updated in a while whoops).
Thanks
Hi guys, I'm searching for help from someone that's an employee (if there's one on this forum), to explain how can they tell me that the screen gets yellow-ish on it's borders and flickering black horizontal bars over the upper border and the bottom one. In some minutes, it gets ok but the color doesn't get back as it should be. My acknowledge tells me that the display chip is crashing and/or something is going wrong on the screen itself.
What should I do?
Why do they told me it's because rooting? It's really stupid and ridiculous.

Those bars where flickering/blinking for some minutes.
You can notice it better right here.
Here you can see two totally black borders at the screen right and left upper margins.
It's running on TWRP because, scared, I shutted it down when I saw the screen running like this and then restarted on recovery to check if it's a software error.
Help me a hear me please.
I got my English skills unused for some time, sorry for the grammar, hehe.

Just brought it, i really like it in all aspects except the annoying rainbow effect, i can even see it without tilt the tablet, especially in landscape, just wondering EVERYONE have this problem? after some time of use you get used to? any way of fix it?
I was thinking of change it but it doesn't make sense if all units are faulty

I am unable to access your screen picture but my tablet is perfectly normal and has none of the aberrations you describe. I was in a shop yesterday and handled the two display models and they were fine too. So I would suspect a fault with yours.
Here are the pics http://imgur.com/a/mpuTI#0
So your tablet doesn't have any of this when you tilt it?
I noticed a rainbow effect when I first got mine, but now I don't see it at all unless I really look for it.

No, none of that. Using the same Google page,I have tilted it in every direction and it is a clean high quality IPS screen with no artifacts.
