Is it possible to make a ROM using this MIUI launcher?

Anything is possible but you probably should have posted this in Q&As.
Have you tried using the app on your phone?? If it works, then yes. But MIUI is on its way but could be a while.. cm7 is being worked on then MIUI.

Its just a launcher. You should be able to download it and use it as is. Miui will get here eventually just have to be patient. A launcher isn't a rom its just a replacement home app like the blur home.

Flash the themes in recovery and the extras are just icons/docks that have to be applied manually.

wrking on flashing cm7 now, will get back to in a few
Edit: quick question: are the extras flashable as is, or do we need to do something special with them? Same with the fonts.

Fonts are flashable but not the Extras. You have to apply them manually.

I CAN confirm that bliss does flash on #22. how do I manually apply the extras? I dont really have any experience in doing that.

You can use Launcherpro to apply the icons and docks. Or use folder organizer to apply the icons.

any chance they could be made into an adw icon pack? CM uses ADW by default, and I prefer ADW EX to LauncherPro.
LUCID creates a bootloop in CM7. Does not work.

Is anyone using the Tencent MIUI launcher with CM7? If so, do you still have the cm7 soft keys present?
I'm running the MIUI rom on my Nook because I like the look, but miss the features of CM7. This might be the prefect solution. The Tencent MIUI launcher works perfect on my D1 with SS5.5.
If no one is running it, can you please dl the launched for the android apps section and report back. Thanks!

I downloaded and played around with it for about 10 minutes. The status bar and soft buttons functioned well. I am running nightly 162 (I think).
Just tried it out. the soft keys do remain.

why wouldnt yout keep the softkeys? just force status bar in tablet tweaks

Just came across this one while I was checking ROMs for my Ideos, you can check the OP here. (Thanks and all the credit goes to Cheez2553)
Decided to try it out on my XT and I must say, after using Go Launcher forever, I love the look! If you want to get the full Sense look just add Beautiful Widgets or something of the like, and BAM! You're on! LOL

No, You can't, cause it's not for CM7.

Just download --> Install the apk --> Apply true CM theme manager and reboot.

Hey buddy,
No definitely not, i'm just a little busy with work and can't keep flashing roms at the moment, am still on HM xda special with MIUI theme at the moment, (had to flash back my backup when i flashed bravo last week, had issues).
Anyway, i've been following every thread ever since and am planning to flash CM6 some time this week, as i can't wait to try your themes man! Specially the black one, seems promising!
Once i'm done with stuff at work i'll be able to flash anytime and will definitely be the first to test themes for ya like before.

I have one in my signature.
Follow the 2.3 link.
I have only tested it on stock like roms but it is not too hard to do it yourself. Just change the .pngs for the default pic in the contacts.apk.
You could also maybe try changing the whole contact apk but I am not too sure about that in cm7.1
hm does it change the whole screen? i mean the icons, pictures, colors? i want a whole new caller-screen...maybe like in miui roms

I really love miui and I am missing it. I am using official miui launcher. But the settings and applications looks odd.
I am using Sense Revolution R3 from TAM. He is making a theme that looks like vanilla android. It would be awesome, if someone could make an miui theme for Sense Revolution R3

Download MiHome from Play store. Will resemble MIUI to a great extent.

Could you please tell me the procedure to make a miui port for our beloved DX. (Not a developer) I just want to know how difficult it is and how long it will take to get a working miui.
