I recorded a live singing performance and the playback sound was terrible. It wasn't just bad, it oscillated and ruined the recording. It seemed the recording was way too loud, also. Is there some way to correct these problems? I just bought this HTC Amaze 4g about a month ago. Please send your reply also to my email - [email protected]
Thanks

I need to know guys how I could get a better sound quality while recording video in a concert. Usually, while we're performing there's a guy filming with a professional camera but sometimes we don't get a copy of it. I want to have a personal video of us taken by my X10, so I ask a friend to record and I let him to use my phone.
The results of the video vary depending of the ilumination of the place. But sound results are terrible. Loud amplifiers, distortion in guitars etc. plus people cheering make only noise in the video and what I sing isn't understandable sometimes. So please, Im asking if there's any way to get better sound in an environment like this.
Thanks in advance.
Are you using eclair? Or froyo? Well the original Sony firmware has better camera drivers plus it also supports HD recording. I would suggest you to use that. The sound quality is pretty good.

Im using Eclair .435 Generic Global ROM, wich I think is still from SE, Im not using any custom ROM.
Ahem... Im talking about the sound quality. The video is just great, but the sound is horrible when recording with a lot of noise around.
Thanks.

Hi guys, first of all let me say hello to everybody, it's my first post in this forum.
I just recently bougth a SGS2 from England and yesterday I decided to root it. All good.
The problem is that, after pairing it with the stereo of my car, I'm experiencing a very poor sound quality, something like a poor quality mp3, especially very poor quality high frequencies.
I have to say that with my Iphone4 the quality was awesome.
I read here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=370109
about Advanced config tool. Can it help?
Otherwise can you suggest any other fix to me?
Thanks in advance.

The Samsung based cameras are much better, with Potatoman modifying sound quality.

Hey guys,
I haven't seen any posts or threads about the supposedly less than stellar audio quality issues on videos recorded by the Amaze 4G.
Does anyone know if this is a hardware or software issue? And has it been resolved by OTA updates or custom ROMs?
Please let me know. I really want to get this phone and stay true to HTC but I do record a lot of video so sound quality is a big concern to me.
Thanks in advance!
Help?
Anyone? I checked YouTube and noticed there was a difference between the recorded audio on the Amaze and SGS2.
Perhaps it's the Amaze's stereo audio that sounds bad? I read somewhere that the mono audio is better but not much.
