Faster Boot? - HTC EVO 3D

How come when I power off and turn phone back on(no battery pull) and hold vol. Down, the phone boots instantly? If I turn the phone off and just press power and let it boot it takes about a minute to boot.

This happens to me on occasion just because im impatient. When u power off the phone even though the led light and screen goes blank it takes a minute to fully power off on its own without battery pulls or fastboot checked off. If you try to volume down power before it fully shuts down then thats when it boots back instantly. The reason is the phone hasn't fully powered off.

Issues powering on from Big breem battery?

So I can press and hold the power button all I want on the green battery logo and get no where.
If I unplug the charger it stays on, But stops moving obviously.
A quick battery pull and I can turn it on no issues untill the next time Iam on the screen and have to do it again.
Ideas?

[Q] weird vibrate

So i was just messing around with my phone and I pressed both vol up and vol down, then power to wake the phone up and it vibrates once.
About 20-30 seconds later it vibrates twice fast.
What the heck is this
Btw my phone is on during this

it's true, my batt life went from 79% down to 6% in 20 minutes.
Interesting. I tried it just for the hell of it and vol + & - then power caused the one vibe, after I unlocked I was going to say it didn't do anything but about a minute later it only gave me one vibe.
Wonder what this is for....

Soft reset stop

I am stock rooted and would like to my phone not to soft reset when the power button is held down. I still want it to turn on and off the screen but nothing else.... Can any one do that????

You kind of need that if S**T hits the fan with a non removable battery.

Go to Settings>Power>Uncheck fastboot. If you press power button screen will turn off/on. If you hold down few seconds you'll get powerdown option. If you hold down approximately 10 seconds it will do a reset ("similar" to battery pull-reboot).

i think we should find out if a dev can change it to Vol up + Power to make it reboot instead of holding down the power button. thats how my xoom gets rebooted
To hard reset a frozen EVO lte you have to hold the power button and volume down...
I don't want that to change.... What I want is for the phone not reset if just the power button is held down for 10sec.

[Q] Wont boot

I rooted and flashed custom ROM to my HTC Jetstream. I installed the custom ROM via CWM by Doomlord. When my device went to reboot it tried booting once then the screen went black. The power is turned on. The orange light comes on by the power button. Then goes off. It is fully charged. And when I hit the power button the LED light flashes.
press and hold for 30 seconds or so.
if that won't do, hold vol down and power 2gether
