question in title
The x310E and the PI39100 are physically identical. The only change is the back is gray on the AT&T phones and the different bands supported.
Any accessories will fit fine on either one.
Thank you. I will "thank" the post next time I'm on the site from a PC

Hey what is best way to find out if my sgs2 is branded?
And if it is who to?

Look for branding? If you find some, it is. Am I missing something?
Generally the splash and boot animation will be of the carrier if branded.

No brand on phone or startup. I was thinking you can tell by software?

If you can't see if it's branded, then it's not branded.
Branding is the operators add on often just a splash screen wallpaper and Internet browser added favs .
None branded does not mean its not an operator supplied phone though most brand then phone in some way .
Product Code = phones origin .
Operator/network supplied phones may have their own firmware changes varying from just a addition to the CSC to much bloatware .

Does anyone know if there is any physical differences between the variants of this phone. Particularly between the front and back. I'll be getting the Rogers version but I can only see protectors for the Sprint and AT&T versions on eBay thus far. Would like to have one for the phone right out of the box.

Yes there are. The sprint version is the same as the Rogers, if you Google your model number and goto the gsmarena site you can compare specs with the lg e973 which is the sprint version.

Hi guys,
I went ahead and got a D801 (T-Mobile) thinking basically all G2s had all the bands listed in GSM Arena. I sadly found out after I got the device that this is not the case and that the D801 doesn't have the 900 band for HSDPA, which is what my carrier uses, so I'm stuck with Edge.
I'm now selling it in order to get another one that works for me (because why would you buy a Ferrari if you couldn't drive over 20Mph?...)
I've been reading up on the subject trying to find one that fits the bill but I find a lot of conflicting/confusing info so I'm just asking straight out, which version of the G2 do I need to get in order to have HSDPA on the 900 band?
Thanks in advance.
Sprint maybe

900 band for HSPA? In the US? I don't think so.

I'm not in the US, I'm in the Dominican Republic.
Does anybody know a place where I can see the different bands for all models? I can't find one single place that has them all.

Thanks! That's just wat I needed. I was on wikipedia before but some how I missed it.
Seems like the only one I can go for is the Verizon one. Honestly, I'm not too thrilled given their update record on my current phone (Motorola Droid 2 Global) which is also from Verizon (yeah, I waitied A LOT to do the upgrade but I really liked having a keyboard so I held on to it as long as I could).
I'll need to check how's the development scene for this one (although, I think T-Mobile is the the one with the least development going on for what I've seen) but if the scene is good I think I might go for it. Otherwise I'll get a Nexus 5 which is the closest thing to a G2.
