I've had a call come in and then the phone process app could force close and it would disconnect my phone from the tower. I've also had it happen when I've tried calling someone
What's likely to cause this? Modem or kernel or ROM?
Have u ever synced ur google account with FB like using HTC Sense's fh sync?
This happened to me and i had to clean it all up.. export all contacts from google contacts.. edit em in notepad then import them all back.. it should be fine
For a temporary fix now, try a 3rd party dialer..
Dialer Ex which the MIUI dialer imitation dialer works like charm

Maybe it's trivial but sometimes for such problems helps cleaning cache + dalvik.
Factory reset or reflash rom .

I've tried the MIUI 1.9.16 custom ROM (on DoomKernel) and every things works well.
I've only a big problem: I'm not able to receive sms at all!!
I've searched on Google but my problem it's not related to google voice or superuser (i guess so because I've not installed superuser...).
I've flashed and flashed again lot's of time but I can't still receive sms.
Can someone help me??

I'm on bb71.. I've a SonyEricsson Xperia X10i with flashed Doomkernel v5 and xRecovery 0.3
Give the sms patch a try its for baseband 65 but it might also work on 71

ok, I've installed the bb67 patch but it doesn't work... I'm trying with the bb65 fix now...
Proble Solved!!!
I've solved the problem!!
It was a superuser problem related to Avg antivirus (free and pro too).
SU used to block all incoming sms due antivirus.org permission that said: "block sms".
Now I've restored the backup made with Titanium and all it's ok...
Another program that block sms is LostPhone (org.gadgetprojects.lostphone)that I had to uninstall (and wipe its cache)

Im aiming for maxium stability and battery duration without laggness. + finnish dictionary required (Bluetooth+mobile data 24/7 ON)
So here are the questions:
1) Im currently getting 1-2 random boots / 1 week, any idea whats causing this?
2) can i remove apps from XWKK5_CheckromRevoHD_V4.zip\system\app before installation? for example swype, looks like its quite big(28mb). will my finnish dictionary be missing if i remove the swype.apk?
3) Sometimes (about every 5th) after calls, my dialer is messed up. The screen where i can do Recall, videocall or send message right after phone call is ended.
Any idea whats causing this one?
4) Is there any mods/ kernels /better roms that might fit me well/better in my situtation?
Currently running:

1. Possibly to much under volt. try increase slightly voltage to CPU or try different kernel.
2. You can remove apps anytime, before of after flash. Titanium backup is easiest aster flash, or use root explorer (or similar root file explorer) to navigate to system apps and delete, reboot after. Not sure about the dictionary.
3. Maybe reflash the dialer, can download from kitchen pro app, or even clear the dialer cache. Whenever I change a system app, I also clear cache and dalvik in CWM recovery.
4. I am currently using the Dark Knight kernel with smartassV2 governor at 100-1200 using SetCPU. If you get random reboot, also try minimum at 200. Maybe yet a different kernel / governor combo.

this one of the most stable roms i have used. so is the SpeedMod kernel. w/o undervolting and overclocking.
the question now is when did you flash this rom you came from which one?
did you wipe before flashing?
did you use titanium backup to restore your apps?
all does matter.
you can remove awype from system/app by using any root explorer app.
if you are not using swype it means you are not using its dictionaries so your dictionary from samsung keyboard will not be removed although i am not 100% on that.
i am using wanamlite 6.7 with Siyah 2.6.7 and i have no reboots. but i do not think i have Finnish dictionary in this rom. nat that i need it. i am Greek.
but you can ask Wanam if he can make a flashable zip for you.
If you really want maximum stability you'd be best off using stock Samsung ROM and kernel

Hi, i flashed the darkside rom yesterday. Added my first gmail account without any problems but when I go to accounts and try to add another I get a force close.
Same thing happens when I try to add one in the gmail app.
Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

well i am using darkside rom didint have this problem
and i am assuming you are using the build number "Final DarkSide Full"
i deleted all of mine and added them back which are google and yahoo...
when u flashed did u do a full wipe of the data and cache and what version of clockworkMod recovery are u using?

Sorry I am using the lite version of the ROM. Will this affect the accounts section?

okay try using the full but it should work with lite ..... do u have titaniumbackup installed as well... use that to back up ur apps

Using latest Litening Rom with litening kernel.
Every time I post a status update FB crashes?
Reinstalled & same thing only happened recently removed app that recently installed & same issue
At a loss as to what is causing this?
Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with some apps when i was testing some ROMs, i realized that the ROM had the bugs, try an other ROM

I had this problem and found out that it was due to bad date and time settings.
What I did was to untick the network auto time sync and changed my GMT settings.
I cleared the cache and data via manage app then find facebook. I then reboot to recovery then wiped the cache and dalvik cache.. bam! It is working fine now.

Try deleting Data/Cache of 'MMS' app and see
Ps- do backup ur SMS (recieved/sent) using some third party apps like 'Smsbackup' from stores before proceeding, since deleting data cache will remove them all .

Nope didnt make any difference i still cant send
Have just used odin to reset to factory and its lock screend
