Hi,
When installing the IMDB app I cannot set the browser to default when clicking on IMDB links - I just keep getting the prompt to select default action, which is extremely annoying when I want to browse the IMDB forums. I want to use the app as well, as I find it less painful to use than the browser when just searching for information.
Anyone with a solution, other than uninstalling the app?

Been loving my new Gtab with Vegan 5.1.1. I've noticed several threads in which posters seem satisfied with their Yahoo Messenger for video chatting. But I can't find Yahoo Messenger or its video plugin on my Market (fixed).
Any idea where I can get a recent Yahoo Messenger app and video plugin?
When I use the Market app, I'm not able to find any of the Yahoo apps (Mail, Finance, Calendar, etc). When I log into Market via the browser, I am able to find the Yahoo apps, but when I try to install them, I get a message saying that they're "not compatible with my device".
Anyone know what the problem is?
Not sure if it will help, but try market enabler. It's more for getting around carrier restrictions, but it may be what you need.

Retry the market fix, as described in Part Three of
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=865245
Lately the regular method does not work for me, but the Titanium Backup method does.
In my experience not seeing Launcher Pro (Free Version) in the market is a sure sign that you need the market fix (maybe again). Can you find Launcher Pro (Free Version) in the market?

There are two ways you can get all the apps you want.
Way 1
Use root explorer to edit prop.build... or is it build.prop? file in system. In line ro.something.something.device = harmony, change harmony to olympus. Then market fix again. You should see all apps afterward.
Way 2
Return or sell your gtab and buy an ipad 2.
I love the widget but hate the lack of organization. Anyway to rearrange them?
Yeah, I've been wondering the same. Can't figure out how to rearrange them in-browser either...
There are a couple of apps that will let you rearrange bookmarks. I use BookmarksSB
https://market.android.com/details?id=app-com.happydroid.bookmarks
That one force closes upon opening every time.:/(
On the details of that app it says:
Warning: on Android 3.x/Honeycomb, do not use this application if the Google Chrome bookmark synchronization is activated.
Could that be the problem?
No not synced.
Problem may be I have another browser.apk installed. I believe it was ported from the xoom or transformer with the quick controls.
i don't know why the stock browser doesn't let you rearrange bookmarks.. i've been using dolphin, which does let you, and is more user friendly. it also gives you full screen browsing. you could also set the uastring to desktop without having to debug all the time.
Thank you for the App. I was wondering how can i rearrange my bookmarks. Google should have included that within the browser.
Got a questions.
Regarding email app, anyway one know how can you select all emails at one instead of going through all the email to select them?

I'm having a small issue with Facebook on Android. However, I think it's an issue with Android itself, not the app. When I get an email from Facebook, and I click the link, my browser opens and takes to the Facebook page and asks me to log in. Why doesn't it open the link using my Facebook app? It doesn't even ask me which app to use, browser or Facebook (eg. if I have two different gallery apps, and I want to view a picture, it asks me which gallery app to use, and lets me set one as default at the same time). Is there any way to make Facebook links open the Facebook app, instead of launching the browser (or to have it ask me like it does with other apps)? The whole point of the Facebook app is so I don't need to use the browser to view Facebook.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm looking for a solution for this too, it's really annoying! but I've had no luck so far....
Every time i change chrome to default browser it does not stick. If i click on a link in email, google+, or twitter i still get prompted to use chrome or internet.
I've searched and searched everyone says same thing but nothing works.
I've checked "always open with" chrome and does not work.
I've went under all apps and tried to clear default for internet but it is grayed out and i can not click it.
Under default applications it does not show browsers so i can't modify there.
I've downloaded an app called "default app manager" and it allows me to change the browser default but it does not "stick". as soon as i click a link i'm still prompted with an option for browser.
I'm having same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
this may help
I found this to be another app causing the issue, in my case National Express Coach app.
But i think you can find out if you have the same clash using "Default App Manager" lite from the store.
Open app, Under Browser Category it will probably say "no Default App.
Click Browser category, if there is another app listed here other than Internet and Chrome etc, try uninstalling that rogue, non browser app as a test. Worked for me..

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with an annoyance I am having with my note 9.
When i open a link in the browser for example google play store or google docs it will open the app instead of opening the website which is not what i want.
I have gone into settings>apps and turned off "Open links in apps whether they are installed or not" but the behavior is still the same.
If anyone can help me out with this is would be greatly appreciated.
