Hi,
I got mine finally working with the orig. BT-Stack on my wizard with german T-Mobile ROM 2.21.2.8
To install the stack, I used the two CABS from Denmark(?):
1Enable A2DP.cab, 1Enable A2DP.cab
I did the following changes to the registry after a softreset:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/A2DP/Settings/Bitpool=48 (new key as DWORD)
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth/Audiogateway/Capability=69 (was initally at 37)
Note, that you do not have to do a soft-reset in order to let them take effect, just switch BT off an on after 5sec. Of course, "use as Wireless Stereo" needs to be done after each switch.
What is really helping for the usability of the device is the use of Battery Status as today-plugin-you can switch between 195 MHz CPU-Speed and (working) 273MHz with just one click.
As mp3-player, PocketMusic works fine for me. CPU load with BT on at 273MHz: ~65%
Hope to help, Horst-Vario
Gps and AD2p
Have you been able to use the GPS and the AD2P at the same time?
i get sound skipping when i try to do this.
I have modified the registry, but i have no improve.
I overclock the phone at 252Mhz (omapclock) but it does not improve anything.
As soon as the GPS soft stops, the sound goes back to normal playback.
What does this settings actually do?
Got my Jabra BT620s working with HTC HD2
Same skipping problem as has been described before, the problem for me was that when I got a registry editor on my phone, there was no branch that went as far as A2DP.
So I created the branch. I seems to have greatly diminished the skipping and the sound bending, though I am keeping my eyes open for a better more modern BT headset.
cingular wiza100 rom update
any can help me to update rom of cingular wiza100
thx
For all the talk about upgrading the ROM lately (still hoping the new official one comes out soooon), I was wondering if anyone had given any thought to replacing the external speaker (on the back) to get a higher volume. Does anyone think this might be possible?
Also interested in this. Not so much an 'AudioPara' tweak, I'm already working with DCD's 2.10/3.27 so the volume has been modified already. I'd just like to know you can make the external speaker any louder, for videos and other media.
I'm interested in this as well... I came from an LG VX8100 that had the stereo speakers on the side. This phone's speaker has been a very big let-down.
Have you guys tried the SRSWOW.cab file that's floating around the net?
I had to put the SRS settings as headphone to notice a big difference, but the volume is way better and not distorted or crackling.
I've done a search on srswow.cab on google and came up with nothing. any pointers as to where to look would be most appreciated.
BTW, I'm using the audiopara editor from neu and it's good but just undocumented so it's hit or miss, if you turn the settings up too high you can fry your speaker, the feedback on just a little bump on the sliders was amazing, plus it making the sliders higher makes picking up the background noise in a call so you can't hear the other pserson a big possibility.
SRSWOW
Is this watcha talkin bout??
thanks, where'd you find the file?
opens the program and comes up with an error message that there is no SRS driver loaded, the program will not exit.
Error
Same here . . .
im flashing my fone rite now...lemme finish it and see if i get that error...i just had it laying around in my Collected Cabs folder
Reset . . .
Just do a reset then it loads fine . . .
waiting to see how you guys feel about this update. Better speaker volume is a fantasy, although GPS and rev A are a dream to me but I hear they are available and I'm working on making dreams come true
it runs fine on mine...i just cant test it rite now...at work lol
will test when i get out and report in quality/sound levels
restarted, it works fine, again, can't test it unless someone calls me.
is there any documentation on this thing?
i found a website showing the d/l location and etc with other ppls comments; but no luck at srslabs.com either

Will this have any impact on the internal speaker? I find the volume to be exceedingly low, even at full volume, when taking a normal call on the phone, not on speakerphone.
The software provided ealier doesnt do much for the TITAN. Infact it lowers the performance of the speaker. The installation worked, but the end result was poor.
No matter what setting I put in, it would make the volume lower instead of higher.
I think this was meant for stereo speakers to create that Sorrround sound type of effect, but since the TITAN has a mono speaker it only produces one portion of the sound.
There is something out there called the HTC Audio Booster. It is supposed to help with volume increase, but so far the applicaiton itself is broken / or i havent found a functional one.

Are you positive you've adjusted the settings enough. I find when you change the settings to:
(internal) stereo
3d 80%
center50%
focus40%
definition40%
and also make sure the speaker settings on top are turned up (I forget to do that a lot)... this cab works well
I just did this update on a wm6.1 and no issues with install. Its hard to determine if so und is louder but my butt dyno says it is. Played some ringtones and things are louder (not as loud as Touch though, I dont think) but will make some phone calls to get a better idea
I install every program on my 8 gb memory card now but this seems to cause issues. AIM doesnt show up on programs list (have to access from memory card), GPS program only found on memory card and wont open even after successful install (GPS TODAY) and now this file, i cant even find the utility anywhere. And I followed instructions on listed website above:
"Setting > System > WOW HD settings.", there is now WOW HD settings...maybe I have to soft reset?
First the basics. I'm running CM 11 M12 snapshot, and I've already installed Viper4Android, and it works. I'm aware of the mixer_paths.xml modifications as well, and those work for me. Is there any known setting in that particular file, or perhaps another known config that can be edited that will increase the Bluetooth volume? Viper4Android has successfully increased this, but just by a little. I would like to push it higher. I'm looking for the kind of jump I heard after changing the speaker level in mixer_paths.xml, which was dramatic. I need the extra push because the bluetooth input on my car radio is tied into an ipod adapter that just comes in at lower volume level than other inputs, and to get satisfactory levels with the iPod, I push my volume to about 3/4 of maximum, with the bluetooth I can't even reach that at 100%, and if I switch inputs without changing, it's jarring and dangerous. Thanks ahead of time for any input. I'm trying desperately to rid myself of iTunes and save myself from constantly burning disks.

In lineage OS, go into settings, accessibility, and check "mono audio".
Now both channels will play through the TOP AND BOTTOM speakers.
Combined with the "Eliminate Media Audio Distortion" guide, the speaker problem on LineageOS for the Axon 7 has effectively been solved. (95%)

The problem is: if you enable mono-downmixing, it is also enabled for the headphone output, isnt it? It would be necessary to automatically enable it when the speakers are used and disabled when you plug in your headphones...
Is it possible to do (without energy consumption)?
Or is there any other way?
EDIT: With V4A it's already possible: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ax...-eliminate-t3548598/post71252830#post71252830
As you can see on the poll, this method is a loose band-aid at best.
Having to listen to Mono Audio is a hotfix at best. Viper4Arise does the same. Limiting the gain does not fix the calibration issues.
Someone on the ZTE forums hooked up a scope on the AUX output and read some hefty interference and heavy distortion with LOS.
Remember that when you switch to headphones, you have to revert to stereo output. For people who bought this phone mainly for the capable DAC/Amp combo, LOS is simply not an option currently. Not to worry since you have a couple of stock alternatives.
While being a lengthy process (actually going through an official R&D associate etc.), I'm sure that LOS will be tuned eventually so we can get great sound on alternative ROMS
Just my 2 cents, this fix can be helpful for some people
Hi everyone, as stupid as it sounds, after many years of using android I just noticed that using equalizers ( and i've tried many of them ) causes the volume to drop. I have discovered that this is standard behaviour since android lowers everything by -6dB to avoid clipping when setting frequencies to +6dB.
Since my phone can't really drive my headphones much, is there a way to bypass this behaviour without using apps or rooting the phone?
Note that the maximum Volume is limited by the hardware. So the only way to have equalizing at maximum Volume is to lower the overall volume. You may be able to work around this by using an audio player that ships its own audio library or has an amplification function. Maybe BlackPlayer works. Note that this will only change the behavior of the music player and that you may experience clipping.
If you want to do changes for all apps there is no way around a custom kernel (or rooting at least) that I am aware of.
The thing is that the stock presets inclued for example in my JBL Headphones app work fine, but as soon as i try to modify one of them the volume drops. This is true for other equalizers too, for example the stock samsung one. It has something to do with how the personalization is handled i guess.
I am currently using a rooted phone with MyAndroidTools to check inside the databases to see if i can find something to tweak but no luck so far.
