there were no ".odex" files found in search by root explorer on my end.
Would it be samsungapps.odex? or samsungapps.dex ?
If using rootexplorer, it should b on system/app.. the file will b with the .odex file after them.. for my case, its samsungapps.odex

Im using an x10i 2.3 stock, rooted
i have removed unwanted apps from the phone
but only 1 app im not able to remove
when i factory reset my phone it comes back

I have not found the name of that app in the system when i hit clean from flash tool,
I searched for AppXtra.apk it isnt there, but mostly some apps r named diffrent like the postcard is named as touchnote.apk.. so i was just wondering whats the name of the AppXtra app

You right they have different names, is it a system app or is it located in /data/app so you can uninstall it in phone settings?

Got it bro Its named, CustomizedApplicationInstaller.apk <-- this is the one that
gave goldrush, fifa, and so on games in x8 and appxtra in x10..

yeah this is dumb, they give u this and ask u to buy the games/apps
i just thought lets risk it and i reached CustomizedApplicationInstaller.apk and deleted it, now i have hit factory reset and its gone forever.... cheers!

Place it in your SD card, then use an app such as root explorer and move it to /system/app. Then reboot your phone and it should work fine. :good:

I am using the kwbr ROM (which is sense-based) and it has the old Sense 1.0 clock! I need a flipping clock like the one in RemPuzzle! I surfed the internet a lot but couldnt find one! Please help!

Copy the apk from there. Both are sense roms, so it will work. Just remember to give proper permissions rw-r--r--. Its Htcclock.apk if my memory is correct.

Have you tried the file file from rempuzzle rom???

Yes I was talking about the RemPuzzle ROM! As for the Sense 4 clock, it works but it does not display the weather so I dont need that! =|

Which file explorer do you use??? Root explorer needs permissions to be changed when copying to system. Es file explorer does it automatically.

Copy the apk from kwbr zip to /system/app. Apply permissions if using root explorer.
I've seen in the past days some requests for apks of stock ROMs and had today the idea to upload them all so everyone has the possibility to get them without asking again and again. I guess this is much easier and faster.

It is going much faster than 1kbps for me. Not sure how you are downloading or what network you are on though.
update: lib and the whole framework folder of both KitKat and Lollipop should be up in 10 min on MEGA. Uploading now everything to DRIVE too but I guess this will need another 1h to be up.
