If u have CWM on your device select apply zip from sdcard>select zip (something like that, its the second option there)>select the zip (obviously)>browse throught the long list of "No"s and select yes, your rom.zip will be flashed.
Otherwise ,rename the file to update.zip, put it in the root of sdcard i.e. /sdcard and select the option apply update.zip from the recovery menu

!
You must install "recovery.img" and boot under "pink screen"-bootloader mode ! after that phone restart and boot into recovery(volume + and power on) !only this method work for install rom,but firmware 2.3.5.firmware 2.3.6 is locked and cannot boot into bootloader mode.

U can install recovery.img on B919

u must to replace recovery.img with recovery cwm 5 to flash another ROM, for huawei honor until now baseband 919 can do it

1. Turn off your phone.
2. Boot your phone in Recovery Mode (Volume Up + Power Button).
3. Install the zip file in the following link. h ttp: // ww w.m ediafire. com/download/sh541l2u2e78vl6/CWM6.0.27.z ip (DELETE ALL SPACES )
4.Reboot into the custom recovery you have just installed.
5.Go to toggle signature verification and check if it is enabled or disabled. If it is enabled, you HAVE TO disable it.
6. Select ROM.zip from your phone memory and flash it.
7.If you do not have the rom on your phone(The same ROM of which you deleted the system folder), then mount the usb storage from recovery with your phone connected to the PC. Transfer files to the usb storage or phone storage, which ever is convenient.
8.Boot into Recovery and flash the ROM.
9.Reboot phone and WAIT.

Mr.Jaswal, if he really had to go to the mobile care center, he wouldn't be participating the XDA Forums. People go to the mobile care center only when their phone is hard bricked, and i do not think that is the case here. I'm sure the problem can be solved.
Reflash stock ROM again. You will get your system back.

Yes you can, as long as your phone is rooted. But make sure you use a custom recovery and not the stock recovery .Meaning, you have to flash another recovery like CWM Recovery. And please disable signature verification. Let me know what happens Reset to factory settings and do a full wipe before doing anything else though

Yes, install the CWM.zip via stock recovery first. Find the right version for your phone. This one:
h ttp://ww w.mediafire.com/download/sh5 41l2u2e78vl6/CWM6.0. 27.z ip (Delete the spaces and use link)
After you have done that, you can flash a custom rom like this one:
h ttp://w ww.mediafire.co m/download/cxec9dz9be86icc/DarkBoid+ROM+by+Santo_Rock.zi p(Delete spaces in link)
Let me know the satus after that :good:
REMEMBER: Disable signature verification from the recovery menu of the CWM recovery

If that's the way your phone goes into recovery , then it will go into the custom recovery. You will not have the stock recovery. You won't need it

Did you disable signature verification? Do that and try. If that doesn't work either you can use fastboot to install recovery, which will 100%.
Follow these steps :
1.USB drivers for your phone must be installed on a computer.
2.Android SDK must be installed on your computer.
3.Your phone must be connected to your computer via USB.
4.The ADB and Fastboot drivers must be pasted into the folder where Android SDK is installed.
5.Navigate to the Android SDK folder, press shift and Right Click, select the Open Command Window here option.
6.Then type the following after your phone is recognized by cmd.In most cases it is.(Type this command to start fastboot : "adb reboot bootloader" and then "fastboot devices")
7.After that type the following : fastboot devices
And then : fastboot flash recovery FILE.ZIP
8.And you are done Open your custom recovery with the key combination used to open your stock recovery.
Let me know if it worked.

Do i need to download the adb and Fastboot Drivers? Or is it already inside the file of Android Sdk but it must be installed first..

CWM.zip is what you will input. The name of the CWM.zip should match the command. Or you will need to change the zip file name to CWM.zip if it is named something else

LG L9 II D605 - Flash CWM via Flashify (help)

Hello. I have d605 with 20g and root via kingroot. I want flash varcains CWM. But when i execute loki flash, it says loki aboot version does not match device and fails. When i try flash zip for flash from other recovery - try flash via stock 3e recovery, it says instalaion aborted and error 255. So i want flash it via app Flashify, but its risk. Did someone already tried it? And how to do it? Select flash zip (in flashify) and select cwm*.zip or unpack recovery.img and select flash recovery (in flashify) and put unpacked recovery img?
PS it can be also twrp, i want just working recovery for flash CM11
Thanks for help.

Features:
1 - Flash boot and recovery .img without even needing to go to recovery.

Which means you have to extract recovery.img from the zip file and flash recovery.img via flashify.
When I select flaah recovery in Flashify and select CWM .zip, it says i have to select file with .img file. And in that zip is the recovery.img file.

I think I explained it in a fairly simple way. You need the .img file, NOT THE .ZIP file.
It doesnt work . I unpacked recovery.img from cwm.zip. Then opened Flashify and selected recovery flash, and put unpacked recovery.img (before it i make recovery backup). It said flash successful and then i used reboot recovery. But it shows only black screen with text like "fastboot mode stared udf start". I must remove battery and put back, then it normal booted to android... Reboot to recovery always open the black screen with that text and is needed battery remove (fixed via recovery restore from backup in flashify, then reboot recovery opens stock 3e recov.)
Please What now? Thx

Flashing stock recovery.img using TWRP's "Install img" option

I saw this somewhere, it is about flashing stock recovery using TWRP's "install img" feature
Here it is:
But for stock recovery follow these steps :
6) now place the downloaded recovery.img into root folder...
7) again go back to twrp =>install=> on top click on install zip=> you get install IMG option select it.
8) your recovery.img file is visible now just click on it => select recovery IMG => flash.
Does this really work?
Any risk doing it?
