Hi everyone,
As most of you know there are emulators for most of the older gaming platforms out there for Android, for example NES, SNES, N64, Amiga etc. Alot of games on these platforms work really good on Android, but the controllers are often so bad that you cant be arsed to play it anyways.
Are there any emulated games that you actually DO play, and if so, which ones? I am eager to play some old console games on my phone but I have a hard time finding games that are actually playable and enjoyable with a touch screen controller.
(I got a Galaxy Nexus. Can't wait for a working version of GTA3!)
N64 is good. Goldeneye and Mario Kart work well on my Rezound. I also play backyard baseball sometimes with SCUMM VM
Castlevania symphony of the night with FPSE runs nice on my thunderbolt with onscreen controls but its perfect with a ps3 controller.
Anyone have Tyson Punchout?

Thanks for the tips. I am currently playing full throttle in ScummVM and can recommend it strongly. Also games like Broken Sword 1&2, Monkey Island 1-3 and Day of the tentacle seems very entertaining and easy to control due to the point-and-click system.
Any SNES turn based rpg. No need for more than 2 inputs at a time.

Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Vandal Hearts 2. All are PSX games and all play very well on my LG Thrill.
As many of you found when you first initiated your tablet, there were 2 "HD" games pre-loaded onto our Jetstream's.

Now, as we all know, gaming support for our expensive tablet has been well, very slow.
But what I want to talk to guys about today is if the games available to us through the Play Store are, or are not High-Definition games? Because the "HD" part on most icons is missing?
Are "HD" games nVidia Tegra only? Is that the issue?
Should I not worry about it?
Secondly, and evermore disconcerting is that I've been looking through the Reviews sections of most popular games, and I haven't yet found a single review, from any of us...
Does that mean that us Jetstream users aren't buying games?

As above been looking all other for some decent games such as spiderman hd, Asphault 6, However it seems non of these support our phones. So does anyone know of any other companys doing decent games for the sgs3
Guyz can u just let me know which all thd games are possible to be played on galaxy s3 using chainfire 3d...M willing to purchase them too.

1 dreamcast works OK but most games don't work because its in beta if you want to try I will upload it
2 Nintendo ds most games lag some work at full speed super Mario bros is the only game I have played at full speed Pokemon pearl lags like hell
3 gba all games work full speed
4 Gbc all games work full speed
5 n64 most games work but lag a little
6 snes all games work at full speed
7 nes all games work at full speed
8 Sega Gen all games work at full speed

1st I can't get all the emulators to work trust me I've tryed
2nd DS emulation on a kindle fire hd bull it lags like hell
3rd Sega Saturn good luck I tryed some games no luck
4th ps2 and psp not happening
5th ps3 and Xbox 360 never going to work
You better have a lot of horsepower which the kindle fire hd does not have

So far I've had great luck with N64, GBA, Genesis, SNES, NES and MAME (more or less - some games are buggy, but most of the classics work). I sort of made this my own virtual console - I sync my Wii remote via the aforementioned Wii remote app and attach the Hori Fight Stick or Classic Controller, depending on the game, and run the HDMI to my TV. Looks (and plays) fantastic on the big screen, surprisingly. A slightly enhanced version of the real thing with only the occasional music glitch. It was nice to be able to play through a mod of NHL '94 with updated teams/rosters when the NHL lockout was in effect. A lot of the N64 games looks especially gorgeous.
DS was wayyy too laggy. Tried playing NSMB DS and gave up after about 30 seconds and deleted the app.
