framework res apk / systemui .apk is only status bar icons and over scrol glow etc
for editing dialer searc or phone.apk and dialeractivity.apk in system / app

sorry the thing is me
2 looking for editing a Dailer so I opened a theme in which Dailer buttons were in framework-res so that was misleading.a hour ago when i was editing music.apk suddenly i realises that here is dailers apk i mislead that guy so I came here to correct that but u corrected it already btw thanx and yes I was wrong plzzzzzzzzz forgive me everyone

yeah, im flashing a new rom into my ace its,after bootin with the original rom i was getting the fc message of dialer app,but now i have replaced the phone.apk and phone.odex with 2 other files from another same rom,but newer version,i dont gett the fc error anymore but now my phone holds at the touch the button of the android. i'm gonna replace the phone.odex file with the origin one,i hope it gets to work properly.

Just unpack framework-res.apk and look for a odd .png

Framework.jar(only if you want the thgo status bar)
Only do this if you are on stock, i know his framework.jar works fine on stock but i dont know in others
Ps, framework.jar=swipe to clear notifications, without this it will force close

so i just take the framework jar ,, and place it on framework and make premssions and thats it ??

Are you on plain stock? Cause im on plain 2.3.3 and im rocking the status bar right now
If the framework.jar gives problems to you then only use the status bar, it wont swipe but the brightness and the toggles will work fine

(i try too whit a mms.apk who was the file off background and it works but when i touch the seting button force close)

u need do decompile it ... find the folder where the png's are look for the one which is your background change with the one u want ( same size, same name, same file system ), recompile! good 2 go

Sir its not working Black Only there is no Transparent
Search for status_bar_background.png or something.I dont remember the name right.Change that png with the png you want.Done.

ExactlyIt is a .9 PNG. U need to patch it with music.souls tut .

On stock no PNG for status bar need to edit some PNG on status_bar.XML correct me if I were wrong

1.If u want to change background there are 2 .9png to be changed one in framework and second in systemui
2.If u want to change the header background its in colors.xml
3.Just UOT

uot kitchen is not working. .
I am trying to gain the same but its not that easy we have to edit some smalis and xml's in it so I tried once or twice and couldn't compile it correctly. Will let you know if I am able to do it on my phone.

I thanked u accidentally -_- Anyway,getting status bar transparent in stock rom is bit difficult.If its CM,then its just a value edit in smali.

Wont work on DDKQ8,but someone could do it anyway,who knows Btw,the above mentioned link gives you the value edit to get transparent status bar by editing a value in smali which i was talking about before.However,it DOES work on CM..If you are in need of transparent status bar that badly guys,then check out one of wonokairen's ( I always spell it wrong) theme,it is the only theme that enables transparency in stock roms.As far as i know,TW does not support status bar transparency which is why you guys are facing difficultues.

I wanted to have transparent status bar for months and after struggling, i present you my mod'ed framework that will give you the transparent status bar you always wanted (LOL sounds like a promising advertisment!)
This framework is from Rempuzzle rom, i havent tested this on any other sense rom but Rempuzzle. Also i made this on the new framework of rempuzzle with the new graphics so use it on it.
1 - Backup your previous framework just in case or backup whole rom if you are bored to reflash framework-res.apk
2 - Just flash my zip file through clockwork and you'll be all set. If you find any problem when flashing just extract framework-res and push it to /system/framework
3 - After flashing check the permissions on framework-res.apk and see if they are rw-r-r
4 - Leave a thanks or tell me if it didnt work for anyone! :laugh:

I assume you did a nandroid backup? just restore and try to extract, push it manually with e.g. ES file explorer (don't forget to check/assign correct permissions)

yes you're right mate but I'm also pee'd off (a lot) by revisiting threads for new posts just to find out someone wanted to tell the world that he's happy
Ok just one thing i dont like is that in some apps the statusbar turns grey and thats not looking good. In some other apps the statusbar is black, so how Can i get this for the other apps like Facebook, messenger ...?

You can't, the white,grey or black you see behind the statusbar is determined by the background in the app so you'd have to edit every app causing the problem which is more trouble than its worth.

I believe its better not to have transparent statusbar because things overlap and background changes, but anyway !
