Hello my friends
I have 2 questions that i detect after flashing Criskelo ROM
1.
Since i flashed Criskelo ROM, i cant connect a keyboard and mouse anymore.
USB Sticks doesn't work too.
I come from Litening ROM, so what could be the problem?
I used the Search and I read in other Threads, that Samsung removed the usb otg function in a firmware is that right?
Differences between Litening and Criskelo:
Criskelo: 2.3.6 I9100XXKK5 Siyah-v2.4.2
Litening: 2.3.4 I9100XXKH3 ninphetamine 2.0.5
So is it the Android-Version, the firmware or the kernel?
And is it possible to solve this problem?
2.
I did'nt see any Criskelo Folder in my System under sdcard
No Criskelo-Addons Folder, which means no JKay and when i want to start JKay via Criskelo.apk it says:
Error 601: No correspondending Activity was found
Thanks for any help!

Pls help a newbie!
download criskelo rom again, it looks likes you have a corrupt version.
also check to see if the add on foldert is not on your external sdcard.
thanks
Thank you for the information!
I try this later.
But i think it doesn't help, because i had this Problem by UltraToxicRom too.
I made a full wipe when moving
Anoyone some information about the usb otg problem?
im using criskelo v34 rom and for me works otg cable, what kernel are you using?
Kernel Version
I'm using Kernel Version:
2.6.35.15-Siyah-v2.4.2+
I've tested
- USB Connector, which handles Mouse and Keyboard over Bluetooth (worked with Litening ROM)
- USB-Stick FAT32 (not tested with Litening)
Both didn't work with UltraToxic and Criskelo...
I didn't get the message, that usb got connected

Strange Thing
i had otg cable problems with 2.4.2 kernel version, try to flash latest version and see if it works
Try it Later
Thanks for Information
That is good possible then UltraToxic has 2.4.2 too i think.
so i'll inform later if it solve the problem...
If anybody has an idea about the Criskelo-Addon-Folder problem, pls say it.
I'm mainly interested in JKay, so if noone can help i install Jkay manually
direct link for jkay thread as a stand alone file.
pick the version that match your phone firmware and flash.

I am using a XXLPH custom rom , does it effect the usability of the MHL function? Anyway to fixed it
Please help
Thank you
I don't know if my answer will be also valid for ICS but I had a Custom ROM based on XWKK5 and I was not able to use a MHL cable. I tried with my Stock ROM backup and it was working ...
So to know if it's a cable issue or a ROM issue, I would recommend that you restore a stock ROM backup (if you have one of course).
Hi everyone! I want to know if there are any way like kernel, drivers..something that let me connect OTG using an Android ICS ROM. I have tryied all of that with both kernel (Siyah, CM9..), custom stock ROMs, CM9 ROMs.. and nothing happens when connect a flashdrive or a mouse.. Any idea?
Thank you!
USB OTG with Flash drives has worked fine for me with CM9 nightlies & pretty much every Siyah ICS build. Can't speak for other USB devices tho as I don't use any.
Hi, I'm new to android, so a little help would go a long way!
Anyway, I have a rooted GS3 running CriskeloRom v5.3 and DarkKnightS3 v1.0 kernel.
I have noticed that everytime that I try to flash a new rom or a different kernel (like Omega and let's say Siyah), my phone won't seem to connect to my mac via Android file transfer.
Is this app or the connection kernel or rom specific? For the only kernels that I have used that allows my computer to connect are the DarkKnight kernel and the Phenomenal 1.0 kernels.
Am I doing anything wrong in flashing these kernels?
is anyone else having this problem?
Looking forward to you help!
Hi Guys,
I'm new to this Forum so please pardon if i'm not following any rules and mistakenly posted the thread in the wrong location.
I had installed Clockworkmod Recovery from "theandroidsoul"
Then I have Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100. Recently i have installed a custom ROM on it provided by JellyBam ROM 20121023 – i9100 (courtesy: igio90.)
It has upgraded my phone to:
Android version: 4.1.2
Baseband: I9100DDLP8
Kernel Version:[email protected]
AOKP Version: JellyBam.AOKP.Build5
Build number: JellyBam AOKP 20121023
I have found it to be unstable as there were many functionality that have been lost including FM, 5.1 surround sound, MTP and mass storage connection, etc.
I would like to remove the ROM completely and install another of ROM
Please suggest me the following:
1. can i go back to ICS 4.0.1 by removing this rom and instaliling ICS from odin? what would be a recommended procedure for it?
2. Will i BRIK my phone in this process?
3. Can i install any other version of Jelly bean custom rom using ODIN, what would be a recommended procedure for it?
Guys i need your help ASAP as i cannot stay with this unstable ROM for long. any help is hugely appreciated.

from what i can see you need a stable custom ROM with nice Features, i recommend you Cyanogen Mod 10 Jelly Bean... i Have it on my XPERIA ARC S and it works perfectly with no detected bugs, only one thing that i dont care about is that no more HDMI setting... the prcedure is quit easy and if you got stuck you can go back and ask for help, i dont think you can brick your phone if you follow steps and make a minor mistake.. if you would like to try, i can help you in everything, and please hit "THANKS" if i helped

The MHL cable only works with Samsung stock roms or custom roms based on stock.
Mine is working fine with stock XWLSD & Apolo kernel.

can you give me a link to that rom and kernal please?
The kernel I use:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/kernel-t2291756
I am using Apolo_4.13_Regular-TWRP.
For the rom I suggest you find out what rom is latest official rom for your country/phone (in my country XWLSD is latest official rom).
If you want custom rom then search in the I9100 development threads for stock based custom rom and verify it has MHL support.
