See that marked area. I used to have that icon which when clicked, takes me to the window where all apps are listed. But it's been missing since yesterday (I don't know how) and I can't figure it out. Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Press and hold an empty area
Press launcher actions (or whatever it is)
Press "Open/Close App Drawer"
There should be a new icon in the home screen
Drag it into the middle
Done ! Was that so hard ?
I figured that out myself a bit earlier, but my internet connection was not working and hence I couldn't update the thread. Sorry
Thanks for your effort anyway. It is exactly the same thing I did

Hi, thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, the soft button does not change.
if u can access to a registry editor just modify the values of two keys "112" and "113" on HKCU like above
and create a link to whatever u prefer

Hi, thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, I can change only the left shortcut. It does not matter what I do at the right, it never changes anything.
have checked out for shortcut to "connmgr.exe" on the right soft key and it does not function, but have no problems with others programs of system folder.
Have u tried other shortcuts on the same "right" softkey or only "connmgr"?
I have also tried Opera, and the calendar, but has not worked.
Hi,
Got a big problem, I got drunk last night and lost my X10 :/ Is there a way I can locate my phone? There is a signal, but nobody is picking up, so it's probably somewhere out there in a snow. I didn't have any app for tracking installed -.- But I know google keeps trace of my phone, is it possible to force localization check of a phone? I want to use the benefit of being traced my whole life...
Just had a quick search and found something which should help.
Search for "plan B" by lookout mobile security on the android market. If you install it from your PC and read the instructions in the app description it should help.
Hope this helps.
Sent from my X10 using XDA App

Hi.
I've been searching but couldn't find the answer of my question.
Is there a app or other way to lock certain tiles of the home screen to disable pressing actions on these tiles? I just want to be able to press my widgets and icons, not the free space.
Thanks in advance
Pemell
I found a few things,not sure this is exactly what your looking for,but this probably the closest thing you'll find.... http://getsatisfaction.com/larvalabs/topics/slidescreen_2_0_beta_3 ,you can also take a look at this.... https://market.android.com/details?...t#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zcGIuc2hlbGwzZCJd

Look at this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I want the brown boarder around the widgets to be unclickable. Don't want it to do anything when I'm pressing it.
Thanks,
Pemell
Bump! Need help about this, anyone knows a solution?
Thanks in advance!
In stock Android previous to 5.0 the VPN icon appears as an annoying persistent key in the top left like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After 5.0 they moved it as a system icon to the right and it can be turned off or adjusted.
It looks like this:
It seems like in Touchwiz they never updated this and the key is still on the left. Even if you're using 5.1.1 (I assume 6.0 will be the same.)
---
2 Questions:
1) Without rooting, is there a way to remove or hide that icon?
2) Is there a way to file a bug or ticket with Samsung to let them know to fix this in the new Touchwiz? Or some other way of contacting them?
1) Long press on the notification and see if you can disable the notifications there.
2) ha Good luck with that.

Just have to live with it then.
Hello everyone. I am staying in a foreign country for a while and using a scooter to get around with the help of google maps by listening the directions through my headphones. Sometimes though i need to hear again the last directions and so right now i need to stop and take out my phone in order to do that. So here comes the question i have in mind: is there an app to simulate clicking on a certain area on the screen ( the green bar on upper side of google maps that repeats the directions, in my case

Hello,
If your phone is rooted, you can use "Automate" (Google Play free app) to create a macro.
Never tested with Google Maps, but I think it's work.
Thanks a lot bro !!! I got it to work with the screen on, now i'm trying to make it unlock the phone, run the command and then lock back. I doubt that i will succeed though but it's good enough anyway. Thanks again !!
