Try copy original SystemUI.apk to /system/app using Root Explorer and edit its permissions to rw-r--r--
Here's an update2.zip file, this contains SystemUI.apk (based on FirstUA) and updated icon for camera, deskclock.
Version is for KPH DEODEXED.
1. Copy to SD card
2. boot into recovery mode
3. update via ZIP file

You can flash any of the ROMs from the development section here..
How to be productive/contructive when you have a problem?
1.You simply dont cry
2.What the hell you did to your phone
3.You explain your problems,what happened before,you get a FC?
If incase you dont follow the above instructions,then you get unproductive solutions as the above ones because no one knows what happened and is just doing some guess work,which could mess up your phone.

wipe cashe lol i didnt know its reformat xD then after the format,

uhh sir, is there an easy way to flash a rom and
what actually a flash and how to do it? do i need

Use Root Explorer,go to /system/app.Find SystemUI.apk,if its not there,or even if its there,its equal to not being there as you dont have a status bar anyway.
1.Extract your firmware (In case,you dont know which firmware you are using,then,Go to Settings>About Phone,you can find it there.Search for the firmware in sammobiles.com and download it.)
2.Extract firmware
3.Get SystemUI.apk from /system/app.
4.Transfer it to your sd-card
5.Move SystemUI.apk from sd-card to /system/app using Root Explorer
6.Long-click the apk and set permissions to rw--r-r.
7.Reboot phone and done
If it does not work,then flash CWM and then flash a rom.But most probably this will work.

Your firmware is DXKT7.Its rw--r-r...Not rw--w-r..If that doesnt work too,then there is nothing else for you to do other than to flash a rom.

Long click...All system apps have the same permission.So,refer permissions of other apks too..

i have a big Problem with my Atrix.
I have test it on CM7 and CM9.
I have T-Mobile Germany, and when i lost the Signal the Telefon logs into anouther Net,
i see it in the Telefon Infos.
And i must everytimes go in the Mobile Network Search and klick on my own net.
How can i delete all other Networks or how can i tell the phone dont search automatic the net.
P.S. What i see to, when i klick manually on another net, he says he is registried, only by that phone,
on other phones he says he can registried in another net.
I hope you understand, sorry for my bad english...

As far as i can tell u need to change ur sim card, tell the problem to ur provider and they should give u a new sim to fix the issue,
I once had same issue with my nokia phone, manually select the network and if u go out of signal zone then redo the manual scan and connect.
P.S: try flashing a different radio, preferably ur region related radio and do try the Stock ROM if the problem goes away then it is Radio problem and if not then change sim time

I have a Verizon Driod Incredible 2 flashed to Metropcs and whenever put it back to stock rom I am able to get mms... if I switch to a custom Rom no matter if configure APN the same way don't work.... I do have my data connection in all the cases with no problem... but I can't figured out how to make it work... please could someone explain how mms really work? Btw when somebody txt me a mms I got the notification but get stuck in downloading for ever... and sometime just said expired message... thanks in advance.

The numeric is your apns MCC+MNC.
For example my carriers mcc is 310 and the mnc is 004. So my build.prop numeric should be 310004.

Also have you tried opening the voice dialer app, say "open apns" and then adding your apn. Make sure to name it, hit save and highlight the little circle out to the side to select that apn.

The easiest way is the use ES File Explorer (or other file manager). Make sure to turn on Root Explorer, Up to Root, and Mount File System in the settings.
Then browse the the /system and you should see a file called build.prop. Make sure to back up this file (copy and put on your computer). Open the build.prop on your phone and find the line that looks similar to this "ro.cdma.home.operator.number=" there will be a number after the = sign. See if it matches the number from your apn. If not then change it to your numeric and hit save.

I did this and still not work... - BTW I'm using right now - JB 4.1.2 - Psycho-M4-vivow ROM - but this happened also with other ROMs that previously installed -
I still don't get it - understand how really MMS work? if I'm able to browse the internet and get 3G data connection - could I redirect MMS to go like an email using 3G data connection....
Please somebody help me to understand....

Look up MetroPCS's apns (google is your friend) and see if the apn matches the apn found in /etc. Again you'll have to turn on root explorer and mount file system.
Send me a link to the rom you're using and I can see if the apns match MetroPCS for you.

I have a backup of my apn setting that I did with apn backup & restore app when I was using stock ROM - "when it was working" I just restored and dont work....
I did try different ROM and whenever I have to return to stock ROM just restore my apn setting backup with the apps and work again - but I want to try AOKP for vivow - I been messing with some many GB Rom - and there are not perfect Rom - at lease this one is the most stable ROM that I tryed so far and want to get the MMS working - everything else like camera, internet, sms, email, battery & performance is really good....
anyway take a look and let me know! :good:

Try adding your apn using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2053705 (take a look at the backup file that you had from stock) and see if that will get it to work on the CM10 rom you're on right now.
Send me the link to the rom you want to try and I can see if I can edit it before you flash it. I assume you just flash a new rom and gapps through CWM or TWRP recovery?

AnyCut don't work on JB... keep FC
I used APN Manager - and make it system app....
everything is set as you said in the instrucctions...
but nothing happened yet -
I did sent a try mms but for more than 2 hours still showing like sending.... Reboot phone a couple time and still the same...
I still don't get how mms works!!!! ahhh... BTW I have 3G data with no problem, internet browsing and apps getting access with no problem...

Hmm if you want just take a look at your stock mms apn or send it too me and I can add that to the rom before you flash it.. Maybe I didn't quite have the correct settings for MetroPCS mms apn.
So can you not just use the Voice Dialer app to open apns?
You're welcome on the rom mod for Metro, it's always nice when it shows your carrier instead of Verizon

Ok well after doing a bit more diggin on Metropcs it looks like it may not be as simple as the edits I have to do to my roms to get mms to work. Try digging around on here and seeing if any of these methods work for the Droid Incredible 2.

thank you for the link!!! finally is working but I didn't follow exactly like the link explain... everything was well setup but when I change the mms.apk, it work... I still don't understand how this work but maybe the mms.apk is modded to whoever carrier you are using....I guess, i'm not really sure!!!

I'm not sure why the modified mms.apk is needed. Someone has apparently made some edits to the mms.apk to get it to work with MetroPCS. You'd probably have the best luck posting which edits were made to the mms.apk. You could try taking a look at the base mms.apk and then looking at the edited mms.apk to see what was changed.
I assume it would work with other roms as long as they are based on the same source (i.e. JB). You can always try it and if it doesn't work then go about getting a newer modified mms.apk file for the version of android you are flashing.

Can u do a stock Rom backup using SP Flash tool , will try it in my phone to see if it work . Did you try 3g Data connection , wifi , and GPS ? are they all working ?

I have the same phone in UK and I have the stock ROM from the seller to hand, managed to root it too but need the following thing fixed.
1. Can't connect to UK networks, it has receptions but can't seems to register
2. Facebook app installed but no where to be found, once sync contact I can open facebook via the link in contacts......
3. Space for app installation is only 100mb
4. No matter what I change in setting the phone think I am in China, the pre installed browser only connect to China website........Apps which on my note 2 won't let me connect to contents in China but the clone S4 can!
If anyone interested in modding the ROM then get in touch, I will have a play with it but I am no expert. I rooted the phone and mess with some settings, flashed with the stock ROM and everything back to normal so the stock rom works.......except no more samsung boot logo.

I have GB ( 2.3) , there is no 3g network , no Gps , sometimes when i call someone , he can't hear me correcly .
which version you have ?

I tried to use modem.img included with your ROM , the Sim was detected but not the network .
Try my own modem.img ,maybe it will work on your phone .
notice : it's only GPRS version :crying:

I managed to solve the on network problem, at first any sim go into the phone and it will show connection but you won't be able to dial out.
*#*#889988#*#* and you will be in the secret menu, go to GPRS and change the IMEI sim 1 to something else, reboot and it will pick up signal. Do not ask me what IMEI number to use and it is unique to the phone!
now I have a working phone but a few thing still need fixing
1. No facebook, can install but can't find a way to start it !!!!
2. The amount of space for software is too small, around 100mb. The manufacturer faked the storage space, the listed space does not match physical space. I am hoping someone may be able to change the vold.fstab so we can use the SD card instead of the internal space.
3. The browser only works with chinese sites??

i've tried *#*#889988#*#* and it goes same menu as mobile uncle tools provided
after i changed Sim 1 IMEI and after reboot
its IMEI return to its old IMEI
can you tell me more detail?
01. about Facebook, have you tried install APK from sd card?
02. just download root explorer to edit vold.fstab
03. where are you now? china or ...?

If anyone interested in modding the ROM then get in touch, I will have a play with it but I am no expert. I rooted the phone and mess with some settings, flashed with the stock ROM and everything back to normal so the stock rom works.......except no more samsung boot logo.

custom rom or stock rom who work fully on my device.
