Has anyone who ordered the transformer prime on amazon after 12/21 get an update on their delivery date?
I've seen 18s and 19s getting updates, nothing above 20 yet I believe.

Ordered the 32Gb Champagne on 12/26, order status says Feb. 6 - Feb. 28. I even called to ask if the shipping estimate was correct, and they told me that "Those things must be real hot, everyone and their brother wants one". I also noticed that you cannot order it from Amazon anymore.
I ordered a 64 grey on 19 & a 32 grey and dock on 20. Dock is coming in on the 3 rd (updated 2 days ago) while the 2 tabs still say end of Jan, beginning of Feb.

I ordered a 64 gb champaign on the 23rd, mine also says end of january, beginning of february. Oh well, it's fine with me, I just hope it's rootable. :/

I've been watching various forums and Amazon are starting to ship however it is not in any particular order. I've seen plenty of Nov 22 orders get "shipping soon" and many 18-19. However I've also seen some Nov 23 orders say they had their status updated to ship soon or already shipped.
It looks like Amazon ships roughly based on chronological preorder, but not entirely. It's not a complete first come first serve basis, which is kind of crap, but it's the system we have to deal with.
Personally I have a grey 64gb on order with a ship date of Jan 13th. Started at 9th, but moved back 4 days at some point. It hasn't updated in probably a week.

I ordered on the 22nd, but no email for me. Chatted with Amazon and they say it still shows a Jan 10th delivery for me. Maybe because I changed the delivery to next day air, but I would think that they would still keep my order placement rather than put to the back of the line.

When I talked to an Amazon rep. yesterday, I was first told my 64gb grey would ship in Jan. Then I brought up that i was concerned about some people saying it would ship next week and I would be out of town. The rep. then suggested I keep a close eye on my email for a shipping status in the next week. So i asked if that meant it would ship next week and the rep. said they didn't want to say for sure and give false hope. not sure why they have been keeping so quiet about this but it sounds like they've known for a while.
I am a amazon prime member and my membership expires 23th December. Maybe that's one of the reasons amazon is shipping to me the prime on time

Ah, it seems as though if I use my southern California delivery address, the order would arrive on 12/30. If I use my address in New Jersey where I am now, the order would arrive on 1/3. This is regardless of having one-day shipping for both options. Different distribution centers?

Yep, ordered on 22 Nov, and am counting myself lucky to still have an 10 Jan ETA. Interesting strategy ASUS has to bone the folks who were willing to pay the premium for the step up.
I think Amazon got some more units, which is why people are getting these "Good news!" emails.
I predict as Amazon bumps up their supply, more people will start seeing "Good news!" emails. Hopefully though, with people canceling their Amazon pre-orders to get ones from BB, OD, Staples, DataVis, B&H, J&R, Newegg or TD, Amazon will be able to supply more units to those who have already pre-ordered.
I say that because Amazon hasn't been updating their web page to tell people they have more in stock like BB is doing with each new shipment.
I order a pair, one champagne and one black silver, both 32gb. Only got the good news email for the champagne order. Will be delivered by Dec 30 (which is tomorrow!!). No tax from Amazon. Good thing I waited. Yay.

Right, and no official word from ASUS either. I think I'm close to canceling and waiting for the iPad 3 in late Feb. The mixed reviews around here don't help either, I was so hyped for this thing reading all of the official reviews.

In the same boat as you. Ordered 12/26, Grey 64GB from amazon.com. Currently don't even have an estimated date of arrival. Going to give it another week or two then I'll suck it up and pay tax+recycling fee and order at local Frys. Or wait out until BestBuy has some in stock (they have a better return policy than Frys).
The funny thing is that my friend ordered the 32gb a week after me and received his yesterday. So I talked to amazon and they said I will have it by the 26th. But I don't know if they are just telling me that because my estimated delivery date is between January 26th - March 15th. Which I find very odd.

Honestly, I think most of the Amazon reps we talk to are clueless. You'd have to get transferred to someone higher up to really get some answers. Even then, they probably wouldn't be able to reveal how much stock they are getting versus how far along you are on the wait list.
You are very right about that. I just find it odd that I'm going to be one of the earliest people to of ordered it but one of the latest to receive it. Its killing me reading about it lol

I pre-ordered mine on the 2nd of this month from Currys and was able to pick it up a couple of days ago - perhaps give them a ring as they may start getting more stock in now?

I can confirm that my local Frys have the 64GBs in stock, if you have any in your area and don't mind paying tax and can deal with the shorter return period it's worth checking out.

Yeah when I look at the frys website, they say they have the 64 gb is stock (grey) then you call to verify and they don't have any in stock except for the display model. Glad I called before placing order, driving only to be told we don't have any. FRYS FIX YO WEBSITE! This is the Downers Grove, IL location. Wow that's very odd because as I mentioned further up my friend ordered his Dec 27th (32gb champagne) from Amazon and received his 2 days ago. I thought it was just the 64gb people were having trouble with. I hope this gets sorted out for you bud.

Heh...I pre-ordered a 64gb champagne back when they first had it, 11/22. I did not have my order canceled but they did push the delivery estimate to Jan 26 - Feb 13. Good luck with that!
THANK GOD Amazon messed up! I was able to get in on the HH Gregg deal last Friday. I used in store pickup just in case they decided to cancel the orders, so I paid tax, but it was in my hands last Friday. So I canceled my order...that should help you get yours faster ;-)
I am also glad I ignored all of the whiners complaining about wifi, bt & GPS. I get 3 bars of Wireless N 2 floors from the router and in that same spot the GPS locks on before the map has a chance to display. I haven't done any "official" tests...that's tonight. BT keyboard is out for delivery...I don't really see using the dock a whole lot...if I need to type that much I'll use a laptop or desktop.

I am really worried about my shipping date being pushed back again. Even if it isn't, having to wait till the end of February is ridiculous. A two month+ wait just doesn't make any sense! Either amazon took far more orders than they could possibly fill in a reasonable amount of time (unethical), or asus is not giving amazon the supply a retailer of it's size deserves.

I've seen a lot of people in this thread say that the Black Nexus 9 (both 16GB and 32GB) may possibly be delayed (possibly due to high demand but not 100% sure) while the White Nexus 9 may ship on time. I pre ordered the white 16GB and it has a estimated delivery date of November 4th.

I didn't order from Amazon but did order the LTE one through Best Buy, several reasons, both have free shipping, have $25 in reward dollars, and they said delivery should be around November 23. And if I change my mind, after it comes, I can just drive 10 mins and return it instore. Even if it ships later, I wouldn't be upset. It gives me the chance to check the reviews of those who have them already, and would know if there's an "issues" with the product.
This OP is intended for members to post where they order their phone from and for discussion related to the shipping once be device is released. I remember when the Nexus was launched last year it was a giant fiasco with Motorola shipping in waves while Google just did their own thing.

While I've day-1 preordered the last several devices, I've never joined in the shipping waiting room.

I thought of that too when I first saw the estimated dates (ordered a few minutes after they were first available for pre-order). I'm hoping that it happens again this time around! One can dream, anyway.
Anyone know if you can add the protection plan after purchase? I would think within 14 days or something.
Seems like a decent idea. If burn-in is an issue or obviously dropping it.
Anyhow, 64gig black. First week of Nov. Thought about the 128 but will save the cash for a Pixel tab.
