I would like to ask questions to Pro people here,
here are the questions:
1. if i install the rom of paul-xxx, the mini cm7 pro, would it support multi touch?
2. will the battery last longer ? how many days will it last?
im getting xperia x10 mini pro and im confused because they say that the battery is horrible and its just a waste of money but others say that this is the best phone they ever had?
Please help me (

I hate to do this (1st post and a stupid question) but I have been searching a couple days now. So here it goes.
I have bought an x10 mini pro a week ago, but the Sony Ericsson flavor of Android is driving me mad (where the heck is the separate volume control for messages?). I would like to root it with a 2.1 Rom that is as close to the original vanilla android as possible. AOSP in other words
Other phones do have roms like this, my G1 is rocking with AOSP GB and I am happy with it. Is there such a rom for the X10 Mini Pro.
BTW, its a nifty little phone, but I never had a phone with a LONGER name

for mini pro u got 2 roms that works prfect maided by owain and they are CM6-Froyo, CM7-Gingerbread

2. Does it overheat when using it online and charging.
3. How well does it overclock and how stable is it?
4. Is the multi touch easy to use on games such as FPS's?
Would you recommend buying one to someone?

do you mean the x10 mini pro or the upcoming mini pro?
this is the development forum for developing software for x10 mini pro.
the stock firmware for x10 mini pro has no mutitouch.
this mobile is not really for gaming.

Is it ok to install x10 mini roms on x10 mini pro?? I mean is it going to work even without the qwerty keyboard etc???
Some do some dont best check info on rom before trying but let us know how you get on

No, because of we have a different touch screen than minis, thats also why we have Multi-Touch and mini dont.

He asked for mini and mini pro, not for the X10.

X10 mini pro does not have multi touch. It has the same digitizer as X10 mini. It only supports fake dual touch.

What about flashing a x10 mini pro rom in x10 mini. I am actually interested in slade's GinTonik rom, but I can't post in android development yet... x10 mini pro roms are much more than the x10 mini's!!

aren't there good roms for mini pro that you want to flash mini's rom?
try miniCM7 or GingerDX, two of the best and popular rom (maybe not best but best stability). I dont know why u want to use x10 mini pro roms... They are almost the same as x10mini roms..
hey all, just got my hands on an x10 mini pro (dirt cheap, 25 off a mate ) its for a xmas present for my big brother. im wondering what i should do with it. is it really worth rooting these? they are pretty nippy as they are, and i doubt my brother will use it for games, just as a phone, alarm and music player really. is it really worth rooting/modding these phones?

Go through the X10 Mini/Pro forums and read those FAQ, it's definitely NOT a bad phone IMO, I got X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro, X8 and now Xperia Mini Pro, nearly all are great for their value, as 2nd hand phones.

Just got a Xperia Pro too, so my question is, its pretty much the same hardware but I dont find any Thread about it in XDA dev, so can I use the same ROM and stuff for xperia pro like I use for my mini pro?
