It was released 15 minutes ago, so I doubt anyone will know how battery life is just yet. However, I've had decent battery life on other ics builds that I've tried, especially considering that I barely put the phone down at all. Give it a shot.

It was as good as you could expect on p3. I've been getting 10-12 hours moderate use on a charge. Keep in mind that if you flash a different kernel (as of yesterday), it will break battery reporting.
Edit: chad may have fixed that since then>the guy updates his kernels like it's nobodies business, so you can always keep an eye on his change log.

just flashed this rom hoping for good daily use ....
was kinda hoping that the 4g from the EVO4G was the same on the 3D , but i assume its no where near.... they were working like mad on the wimax back then ... haven't even heard of anyone making progress on Shooter 4g

No it doesn't. The setup is actually mine, just didn't feel like clearing my homescreen to take the screenies. Its mclock with a modified mi-Genie skin to have the ICS blue font color for the date.

Don't pull it. I think the flashaholics are just satisfied for now. I have come to enjoy the stability of ViperRom, but I will give this one a shot. I like trying all of them at least.

I would like the name in the drop down menu to say SALT instead.
Also the color of the menus are all gray in some apps. Here are some ss of what I'm talking about.

There will be some coming, but as of now I'm not sure. It uses chogardjr' base so some made for his ROM may work.

Whats up Affliction, glad to see you made the jump to odex! Check out the link in my signature for mods for this ROM. As of now I've got remapped rosies in there after the new version drops I'll be adding more to it. If you guys are looking for a specific mod hit me up and I'll do my best!!
you can also use my theme for CHOs ROM but it doesn't include the zues mod notification drop down, the next version of my theme will.

charge animation works fine for me, whats yours doing?

Well my battery right now is at 73 so when I plug in the charger, the lightning bolt shows up and the curved line only moves a small amount instead of all the way around. Any other ROM I've had with the honeycomb battle, it moves all the way around.

-a motorola photon rom based off of rocko2.0 deodexed unlocked by RockoDev (ed hidalgo)
-has jokers latest 1.3 kernel
-ive taken a theme i made in the uot kitchen with the framework and systemui of Rockodev's Rocko rom with motempo's quantum theme then i incorporated it into the rom including:fonts, boot animation, blue icons and blacked out notification bar changed things up quite a bit (once you try it you will know what i mean)
-ive added several tweaks to this rom other than the tweaks ed already added:
-added speedy v7 by overmind
-zep's v6 and 3g
-blue sleep fix by turl?? not sure if thats who made this or if it truly works but ive added it (once i know i will give the proper credit)
-set flow control to 7 and added the atrix lib file swap by motcher
-waterdrop fix by moonzbabysh
-notification toggles by rangerbry
-Themed framework and toggles from motempo (thanks motempo)
-multiple touch mod by seanzscreams
-includes lokis webtop+ 1.2.0-174
-changed max events to 200
-wifi scan to 180
-vm heap to 80m
-also added titanium backup(free version) for quicker restore
-added jokers app and shabbys app for quick references
-added xda(free version) well lets just say where would we be without it
-big thanks to all these people who made alot of these mods ive just incorporated them into one package with a little twist of my own
made using sam cripp's rom factory (thanks sam!) if I haven't given you credit for something considered your work

INSTRUCTIONS:
-please first and foremost make a nandroid backup
-secondly make sure you are unlocked rooted and running romracers cwm 5.0.2.7-photon3(color doesnt matter)
-download zip
-boot into recovery wipedata/factory reset
-wipe cache
-wipe dalvick cache
-navigate to where you downloaded the zip to
-install zip
-after zip installs will tell you to format data and cache (do not forget to do this)
-reboot phone let it boot most likely will be a long boot
A. if phone bootloops or boots then reboots pull battery put it back in go into recovery fix permissions reboot
B. if doesnt boot good thing you made that back up (you did make a back up right?)
-once phone boots successfully i would highly suggest fixing permissions in recovery or in rom manager(not included)
-enjoy your new [email protected] rom hope you guys like it
please leave feedback on your experience from install to daily use need to know what needs fixing since it runs without any issue on my end

how are you trying to download it via computer or phone I'm using shadow and xda premium app and it downloaded just fine for me slow but still downloaded
also downloads fine from computer much faster that way id add

considering the size of the download i would say would be more time efficient to dl it from your computer or a stable connection (unfortunately not wifi) 479 aint no punk is a huge file sorry for the size but with all thats in it its worth it

Maybe put up a version without webtop. I already have it installed from using the Imperium rom. And thanks for the rom. The more options the better, and it's great to see someone willing to put the time in to learn how to do this.
Ok guys GruesomeWolf and Team-Nocturnal coming at ya with another mod.
This mod will add Slide to Clear Notifications to your status bar. Anyone who has ran CM knows what Im talking about, for those that dont I have a little video.
Couple of things I would like to note :
1) This was based off the latest OTA files
2) This is a Stock Status-Bar with the Slide to Clear option added (so no it is not compatible with "Tweaks" of any kind). If anyone out there would like to add this to a status bar that is compatible with Tweaks, please feel free.
3) If any dev. out there wants to use this mod in there ROM.....Again please feel free. I only ask that proper credits be given. All our stuff is open source....so have at it.
4) I will do 2 variations of this. One with a clear button (for those users who always end up with 15+ notifications in there status bar), and one with no clear button (for the user who doesnt get that many notifications, and prefers a Clean Look)

I will shoot you a pm of the files that I edited, although the AOSP framework.jar is likely gonna be a lot different.
Could someone upload their stock SystemUI.apk and framework.jar that this replaces, so I can compare for differences? Please, as I don't want to download 400MB's for 2 files.
Would be cool to have this on wtsb sense 3.5 Rom. Pretty pretty please someone do it.

The zip is only 5.1 mb. The systemUI has been opted....

I thought he updated his base? If so it will work.....just no tweaks. Pm virus if you want that...lol

If your running a ROM based off the latest ota, then just flash the zip.

Is there a guide anywhere cause the ROM I'm on is themed and I would like to keep it like that? I saw on the TN site you used a guide by someone I can't remember the name, but is that on here somewhere?

OK so I did a few mods for CM7.
They are based on kmyers 7.4 CM7 build, actually as part of our current effort
"Evergreen CDMA cm7 ROM"
On that note here's some other parts of project evergreen:
theme chooser apk thread

huge thanks to thoughtlesskyle for spearheading the evergreen project!
these are all themed - if you don't like it use a theme chooser apk to change
-carrier name in status bar
-ICS animations
-remove usb debugging icon
-center clock
-ICS lockrings
-t9 contacts (not really mine, but I'm sharing it)
maybe more, I honestly can't remember...
ok linked to post, all in one zip, which is flashable.
please let me know issues. Also if you only want one of the mods let me know, I can tell you which part of the zip to use
the v1 zip caused FCs (and had 67 downloads, wtf)
the NEW v2 zip is FC free
this stuff took forever, leave a comment...
