I would like an app, that will let me send/receive SMS/MMS via WiFi. There are times I would like to send a text, but do not have any reception other then WiFi. What would be the best way to do that?

when your on wifi calling shouldn't it be able to send and receive MMS?
I'm using Bulletproof 2.2.1
And I'm unable to send MMS on wifi calling, I can only send when its off and using data
But I am able to receive via wifi calling (actually its kinda buggy on/off)
Which is weird cause I remember using quicksense and it was the other way around haha
If anyone has info on hows yours works please post, will like to know what I can do. Thanks!
Ive recently had a problem with my wifi calling in that I am able to make calls just fine but am unable to send text messages. The message just constantly says sending but never goes through until i turn off the wifi calling. Is the wifi calling only meant for calls and prevents messages from being sent? I can't imagine that it doesnt support SMS but maybe I'm wrong. Any help would be appreciated!

You are in the wrong place, our phones don't have WiFi calling unfortunately. Here is where I think you need to be.

I just figured out an issue that was driving me crazy. If you use any 3rd party texting apps and have wifi calling enabled, you can't send or receive mms messages. This includes Hangouts. Want to text that pic, you have to disable wifi calling.
Now I need a realistic solution, other than use stock messaging or disable wifi calling.
My gf phone on bnh5 and get text messages don't come through when connected to wifi any ideas?
Is WIFI calling enabled? I've missed texts and calls when using WIFI calling.
It's wifi calling's fault. Just turn it off if you really don't need it. It's really pretty bad.
While on WiFi, I can't get group messages to appear. It will show as unloaded until I disconnect from WiFi.
I know this is an issue with a number of stock RIMs and wanted to know if anyone had a workaround.
Are you talking about while connected to wifi calling? If so unfortunately you have to use the default messenger app that came with the phone. Hangouts ect will not work for mms while on wifi calling
