I took my JS out of the black leather rooCase it has been in for a couple months and discovered that it left stains on the back of the tablet. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know a good way to remove the stains?

rooCase stained my jetstream too. Did you find a good way to clean it?
FYI, I switched to the SIKAI case it is much better it even has a pen holder.

I never did. As a perfectionist, it definitely annoys me I tried using a cotton swab with nail polish remover and then rubbing alcohol on it, and neither took the stain off. Ah well.
Try baking soda? It might work...

I've been using Cyber Clean, works well.
I'm too new to post a link but you can go to CyberClean dot tv for more info.
Use the corner of a piece of paper. I find that sticky notes work rather well, as they are just stiff and thick enough to get the job done. (I know, I know, that's what she said!)
I was browsing ebay and discovered this. Maybe u guys might be interested i already ordered mine will do a review when recieved. Sorry if this has been posted before.

Thanks I wonder if you can use the tpu case instead of the one that comes with it because the tpu protects the camera..?
I personally think that it looks like garbage from the front. Now the rear of the case looks ok, and the way the holster turns into a kickstand is a cool concept. The way the front just clips on looks tacky in my opinion though...

Hey guys check the link on my signature.
This is a stand that will fit any phone, with the case or without it.
It has multiple viewing angles, and you can rotate it to set the phone on any of its four sides.
You avoid blocking any ports with the rotation.
It is removable or you can keep it on the phone. It is also very small that u can bring it with you anywhere.

I wish it attached with a suction cup or something removable so it isn't stuck on there all the time.... Looks kinda cool though

Looks very similar to a case/holster combo I had for my BB Storm (god I hated that phone) . The case part just pops on the phone and it slides into the holster . Was a good combo back in the day took alot of beating and never broke or gave out .

The clip anchors for "kick standing"/kick stand broke in less than 2 weeks after I got it. Company did send replacement (with another case included!). The plastic clip that goes on your hip and kick stands with the metal clip thingy snapped in half after 6 days of use. Didn't bother to RMA again. The cases themselves are thin and are pretty solid, though. Going for Seido's thin case/kickstand product. Wish they had it in red, though!
anyone else absolutely in love with flex gel cases or is it just me? i just bought an arguile clear flex gel case off ebay. I'm a big case hoarder for all the smart phones i've had. I've found flex gel cases to be the best for everyday, convenient use.
Also, now that i have a white phone, i feel it should be a crime to not go with a clear case and show off my phone rather than hide it's beauty. Anyways, anyone else having an open love affair with flex gel, or is it just me? if so, do you like your buttons with cutout access, or covered? i must know.
well lets see the case man any pics?

is the case i just purchased. it hasn't come in yet, so i cant really show pictures of it. i have pics of the same case on my samsung galaxy s2. i was more concerned with everyone else's opinions on flex gel, and if they feel bad covering up their beautiful phone.

Overall, I'm very happy with the case. It's thin, yet provides the protection I need. It also shows off enough of the pretty phone, with still having a style of its own.
Thanks for the pics...I wanted to see how the white looked with the white argyle...looks nice.

it's very crystally looking to me. you'll get compliments, i guarantee it.
I love those cases! They are better than an otter box in my opinion. I just got a Sweet lookin matte black one off eBay for my amaze which sports some noticeable battle damage on its body... the look of the phone is totally different now. I also have the tpu case on my g2 and g2x. I swear by em !

Body glove makes a clear one....do an Amazon search for HTC Amaze TPU Case. Body Glove should come up as one of the options.

Nice! I have one similar to this also. I just ordered a trident case a few days ago though. I couldn't resist aha
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
I had a nice trident case for my EVO, but after a while it was just way too big. I'm female so my pants pockets are usually small. It's hard to fit one of those cases in one. That's why I absolutely love this material. No friction and relatively strong, without being too bulky.
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
Yeah I agree. I love the case I have now (tpu case). But I'm a relatively big guy 6'3" so I don't think the added bulk would bother too much ?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
The problem with these cases are (especially the cheapy ebay ones) is that they become yellow!!!
Because of the hot/warm battery under heavy usage causes them to become yellow. Otherwise the cases Do perform adequate protection.
I had a clear arguyle case like this on my galaxy s2 and that battery got way hotter while charging that this one. I only had it for a month but i didn't see a yellowish tint. I'm a case fiend so I'm sure in a few weeks ill need to buy a completely different color anyways. So at the price of 6 bucks, I don't mind. sorry for the constant replying. I'm awfully bored at work.

I'm bored at work too lol. Whenever my trident case comes In ill do a review on it and my opinions on it against the cheaper tpu cases

Just ordered one. I have been debating about getting one or not, and finally decided to go for it. I have not had a TPU case since my old blackberry curve 8900
I bought my DNA on launch day. Now on the edges I touch most the soft touch is rubbing through.
I'm a little annoyed, especially since I can't just replace the back cover.

The same thing happened to the One X. The matte finish is sand blasted on and any scrapes or abrasions will cause the shiny plastic the housing is made from to show through.

Yeah figured as much. Unfortunately because the back can't be removed, I can't "fix" it.

It's ok if it drops, it has a case
But seriously, I have the exact same case and it gets knocked off the table, couch, bed a couple times a week. I have a 4 year old who likes to play games on it and isn't always the most careful with it. The case does a good job of protecting it from 2-3 feet drops. I think the plastic spray would make it look like crap and not worth it. Just my opinion but good luck.

I guess so but still I wish this had more of a grip. This stuff... http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...tmR4IcI5xUlpV4_Sg&sig2=1yfB4k-jSCv0kgoFUqZm_g looks promising and I dont see how it could affect the hard plastics looks too much.

I have no issues with my Commuter as is, but I can see where you're coming from. I would just worry about the paint chipping or scratching if I were you.

That and I had the defender case before but hated it because of the rubber outside. It made it a pain to put into and remove from my pocket. That's something else to think about. You don't want the coating catching/collecting things as well like your pocket, lint, dust, etc.

Not everyone uses or likes the holster. I hate them as they get in the way when in the car and always seem to catch on things as well. That and I hate the look of them. My left pocket is my dedicated phone pocket and nothing else goes in it

That is true but if the coating starts to scratch off or whatnot I will apply another coat. I'm going to buy the stuff and spray it on something else first and let it sit first to see if I'm going to like the feel. The silicone sleeve that comes with the Commuter is a HUGE dust/particle magnet as it is. I have to wipe it off on something a couple times a day, the rubber outer on the defender was no where near as bad as the silicone on the commuter.
Sent from my Blazing fast LTEvo!
Well to anyone who cares I applied 2 coats of black Plasti Dip to the hard plastic outer shell and its much better now! I can hold the phone with one hand and move it back and forth and it's not going anywhere! I don't think it will last too long but the bottle said its easy to remove and ill just spray a few more coats on it if I still like it I guess.
