Hi
I am very much a cm guy but would like to try a rom based on Samsung base, but with a more stock look. Any ideas of which rom to try?
Thanks

There are quite a few now. Hyperdroid 5.0.0 is decent.

i mean hacks in the CPU, Kernel and Themes...
thats about it
Then install cm7 and remove cm7 settings etc.
No point redoing all cm7s work for nothing.

I have been using CM9 by the GalaxyICS team since the first beta, but it isn't too much stable for my use and camera is still missing. I would be pleased if you could suggest me a very stable and smooth ROM. Any suggestion?

Cyanogenmod 7.2 nightly cooper is good.. It works for me n my wife..

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try all ROMs and will choose the best for my use. I'm testing Revenge Sunday and it's unbelievable fast! Everything open in the same time that you touch the screen. But, again, thanks for the suggestions.

You can also try Bald Eagle, which is a stock based rom, really stable and quick.

I use Adrenaline ROM, the XWKT7 edition. I usually change ROM every week or two, but with this ROM I'm so happy that I actually haven't flashed any other ROM after a month of using
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
I've tried many, but let me ask you what type of rom you're looking?
Fast and high customizable? Miracle v4
FAST and with great battery life? Adrenaline ROM.
I only use stock based because cm7 rom always have poor battery life, so I would advise you Adrenaline Rom.
Revenge sunday is best..
I've try it n it's much more better than cyanogenmod 7.2 nightly cooper..

From time I bought phone and I got introduced to xda developers forum, I tried min. 20 ROMs so far.
I think StockLite v6 + ICS Theme is best.

Yes, I am already using that ROM and, of course, is amazing! If we could run ICS with this speed on our Ace...
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
i would suggest miracle v4..its the best for balanced performace and battery.. speed is uncomparable to other roms and super smooth..but its up to you to decide which suits ur needs.

I know that ICS was released today for the Note. I am currently running the Saurom rom and its been great. Ready to move to ICS, but what is the best one? I know everybody has different tastes and likes, but just want to get a concensus on what the go to ICS rom is....
I'm using Goldie Only One. Seems easiest and with many modifications. Lots of SGS3 options too!

I use Flapjaxxx's aospxxx. I like the vanilla ics look. It is very fast and everything works perfectly. Keep in mind that it does not include Samsung's premium suite apps because they need touchwiz to work.

I've tried quite a few and they're all really good, but h0tw1r3's unofficial CM9 is my favorite.

What is the best Vibrant jb 4.2 rom?:cyclops::cyclops:
Its a matter of an opinion. Slim bean is nice and small. Cyanogenmod well its pretty much the original. Avatar is the ROM that is not only extremely customizable (miui) it also can have have ota updates. Root box(my port) is fast and pretty stable with built in pie. Cyanaosp(also my port) is meant for gaming and runs hardcore games pretty well. If I left any ROMs out I'm sorry I just named what came to my head
If I helped you, hit the thanks button!

Although baked isn't really updated on XDA anymore is it? PAC man and paranoid android are also two others that come to mind. And no there is no Liquid Smooth ROM for our phones

Yeah, there are 2 of them, try both and go with which one you like.
Sorry, this is just a loaded question to which nobody can answer for you. Many have asked this, and it just depends on you and what you are looking for. I will tell you, they are both super stable.
So flash away my friend.
