no one knows how to change the dockbar in themes using theme chooser ?

I don't think theme chooser can do that, theme chooser only changes the UI and icons, not the launcher. You need to get a custom launcher like LauncherPro to change the dock etc. At least this is what I think.

Thx for the tip will try that soon

The only method so far i found was purchasing adw launcher ex and using that for the dockbar and theme chooser for the rest.

Launcher Pro Plus allows you to choose your own custom dock under Preferences --> Appearance Settings --> Dock Background. And then you can change your dock icons by long pressing on them --> change icon --> custom icon. There are many icon sets and dock bars available on this site and just a simple google search will yield infinite results.

yes found out yesterday how to apply dockbar styles with icons and only pngs. so far i have applied lunar UI and my own dockbar with text instead of icons.
Once i get some free time i will help contribute some dockbars and icons for members to use. but have to finish some school projects for now mate
3 websites (asp.net, java and php) once these are done i will help add some dockbar styles for members to use

Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

[Q] Launcher that uses the wallpaper?

I recall a homescreen thread some time ago (last year) that I can't find now. One of the posters presented his homescreen, which had no traditional icons of any sort. Instead, he used a wallpaper that he created and used a launcher that would make certain regions open certain apps. They were not square regions. He mapped the regions by actually drawing them. This way, he didn't need to adhere to the grid structure, and his icons were integrated in the wallpaper, creating a sort of spiral formation of items of various geometries.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Trying to find that app.
The technique is called "Ninja App." Here's the wallpaper you were referring to:

I made my own beach-themed version a while back: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12658060&postcount=63
and here's the thread about it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=987059
The wallpaper itself is actually still on a grid...you just use customize the launcher to have more icon places (such as making it 6x6 or 8x8), then placing a transparent icon where the image is on the wallpaper and link the icon to the action you want. I used ADW EX when I made mine so I could hide the status bar and dock, but any launcher that allows customizing the number of icons on the rows/columns will work.

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the tidy organization of your post and comprehensiveness of your brief tutorial on how to achieve your desired effect.
I'm even more impressed that you actually found homescreen that matches my description, because I was making it up! I was on a Dell Streak forum and people were showing off their homescreens. One poster had paint blotches spattered across the screen with the title of an app littered within each blotch. I didn't think people would respond to kindly to a Dell Streak description (i.e. "You're in the wrong thread," "wrong forums," etc.), so I wrote up something reasonable and hoped someone would know what I was talking about. I am a Vibrant user, however, so it's all good!
You are very welcome! Always happy to help a fellow vibrant user.
You're description was so on point with that wallpaper, I thought for sure that was what you'd "seen." How funny! I guess you were destined to use it with the Ninja App technique.
Let me know if you have any questions about how to do it. Like I mentioned, I used ADW Ex and made the grid larger to be able to better place the transparent icons, and ADW Notifier for the notifications.
You'll have to post a screenshot of your setup once it's done to show how it turned out!

NTSense app

Hi,
I installed the NTSense app with the latest CM nightly build.
I've activated the NTSense app with the Theme chooser, but nothing happens (changes). I.e. my old theme is still being displayed but at the setting in Theme Chooser it states that NTSense is active. Switched it now a couple times but without succes. I see no difference. I tried the regular and blue version too.
Any solutions?

did u try to reboot the phone???it worked for me when i was on CM #198....
Yes, I absolutely re-booted (various times).
Isn't it working because of the resolution of the phone and the high/med res. included pics in the theme ?
I do see a warning about this when I switch my theme. But dont we all with the same phone!
Only thing I see is some icon color changes for the rest its al the same (background image etc).
A theme chooser theme cannot change the background image. Check your status bar, drop down notification bar, icons and a few other elements like the menu elements, menu highlights etc. If they are themed, the theme is working properly.
It actually can, unless I have no idea what he's talking about.

Thx guys.
A quick wrap up to see if I understood it right. I downloaded the NTsense app that is like 6MB's, but the only thing it does is add some colored lines to menus and icons only?
Got it from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970459
Isnt it suppose to look like this including the background & clock?

Great iconset, thank you very much!
I finally found a clean a consistent bunch of icons for my dock.
Weird issue: applying icons to dock with go launcher caused a jagged resize. I had to rescale the icon myself to my native hdpi resolution (72x72).
looks very childish
but nice
Thx for those cool little icons =) Btw can u create icons for root explorer, play store, Mx player, Facebook messenger, ASTRO FILE MANAGER and Contacts
Cannot access the flaticons go launcher theme app @ google play (in Hong Kong)

Did the op still updating these? I see he charges for them now and all the free links are gone =/ but they havent been updated since he started to charge?
is there anyway to still get these icons? love the look of them but all the links are dead.
I wish this guy would update the set...
yea, best icons out there, too bad he doesn't update them anymore

i can help you but don't know why madlauncher does'nt overwrite holo launcher so follow steps,
1. check whether your using roms which already has hololauncher in it like longhorn
if your not using such roms then goto step 4 or else goto next step.
2. install any launcher from market like go launcher.
3. now uninstall holo launcher using any root uninstaller from market.
4. install madlauncher from op's attachment. :good:
5. and if you want same arrangements as in op's screenshot then follow his 2nd post of widgets.
6. search all the widgets in market
7. in launcher settings you have to set it to look same as the above op's screenshots like hide icon text, icon color, increase desktop rows and columns (don't know why he does'nt added this)
8. have a look at my screenshots

Sense Rosie Homescreen Mod - Dwnld Link available

Hi All,
This Mod is a small hack of the bottom buttons in a sense ROM.
This is developed based on stuffs done on other devices. I have gone thru their tutorials and modified it for wildfire.
Big thanks to sk806 for the original contribution.
ROMs supported:
All Sense based Roms
What will it Mod?
It will mod the bottom curve rosie of the sense to look a bit stylish
There will be three buttons in the homescreen after the Mod
Phone button has been moved to the left rather than center
Menu aka App drawer button has been moved to the center much like launcher pro or ADW
The third icon is a message icon which will redirect you to messages
Screenshot:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Clicking on message icon does nothing?
Hold on, you will find a new App called Launch Key in your App drawer - Just open it and configure it to messages. Now you will be able to launch messages from Homescreen
