Hey, I want to replace the camera of cm7.1 6.6.1 by Mik... with that of the camera in cm7.2 A6 .... How do I do that ?? Please Help, I don't know android development... Is it possible by simple copy paste method ??
Get rot explorer!
Extract the file you want from zip of miks rom!go to system-lib-paste the file and set permissions pretty easy job!

Are u sure? Cm7 A6 don't have camerA bugs, the one have is F1..
Manually use root explorer with read/write access... or u can cry/wait till someone provide .zip, so you can easily install it.

finally the lib of the nexus works great with trip miui rom and the letters are connected with no problems just download the file and with root explorer copy it to
system/lib

no i don't have the lib but it's not so important because you can use opera 11 it supports arabic and supports flash 10.2

which rom are you testing it on ....it works perfectly with trip roms i didn't test it on another edition if it's trip's rom try to reflash and folow the instractions

Here is Timescape from Sony Ericsson, it's very easy....
1. Extract the file, you'll get - META-INF, and system
2. Open the system folder and copy all files from the folder system/app to system/app, etc/permisions to system/etc/permissions, and framework to system/framework
3. Set the permissions( all files copied ) to rw-r--r--
4. Copy the build.prop ( attached below in build.rar ) to system and replace. Backup the original bulid.prop if you want restore to original
5. Reboot....

I use original ROM. I don't use custom rom. So, I don't know it's work or not, I will try to fix it. Can you send your original build.prop? I will edit it....

All problems is from the bulid.prop, because I edit it by mixing build.prop from sony ericsson and original galaxy ace, so can you upload the original build.prop ( different rom, different bulid.prop ) ? I will try to edit it...
On my phone wasn't laggy... All works perfect

Actually, the attached file it's cwm flashable, but the installation aborted... but you can try to flash it..
I try to install all apps manually and it works not lag atall so thanks zekha1

Try this. I just made 5 min agos, flash *.zip via CW. I also modified build.pro. Tested on my own rom worked well
Doesn't work for me either. Tried manual install with root explorer and your flashable zip. no changes at all. Running Stock 2.3.4 KPH from samfirmware.

I'm running KPH too and works fine. Wich timescape your downloaded? From me or devilsking? I have tried timescape from devilsking and it's worked too...

I downloaded your files from the first post.
Did I something wrong?
copied files to sd card - used root explorer (r/w) to paste the files in their direction - changed pemissions - replaced build.prop - reboot.
You can try my *zip file. It is installed via CW and everything is more simple

Sorry. Which ? I just copied 1 code lines from build.prop in 1st post into my build.prop in my own custom rom. I didnt use your build.prop. My custom rom's name is The Myth v1.1 and I didnt post in xda.

i have installed stock rom of sammobile from odin but when i see it in root explorer i am finding " .odex " files in /system/app ..... how this can be possible i never did any thing to make it deodexed..
also it is showing 511 mb used and 78 mb remaining in /system/app folder so i am not able to flash zip files because of low space, how can i increase size in system app folder ..
what is the problem, i am not able to figure out .

it was my mistake b cus i read some where the same... i am too noob in this case ...
one more thing i want to ask about g version since you are using root box rom that can we install some stock applications in cm9 or root box .. because i tried almost all roms but i was not satisfied with the their sound with compared to which stock rom has with 5.1 effect , and camera features.. so i came back to stock rom. plz suggest me any solution because i want to run a custom rom because it is fast or help in getting space in /system/app folder so that i can zip other features in stock rom.

thanks a lot man ... for the wonderful suggestion , i tried almost all the custom rom before this but i was never satisfied because i was not getting the stock kind of high end performance in few apps like camera , audio etc .
divine rom is fulfilling all my needs ...

Do you want replace only camera app from one Rom to other. If yes most of the times it will not work.
If you have to copy libs , apk and also need to modify boot.omg.
