The stock browser crashes after attempting to load YouTube video via Flash on the full site. I have the latest Flash version installed and running Android 2.3.6 stock. I cleared Flash and browser cache, same thing happened.
Only YouTube videos crash. Everything from advertisements, games and full Flash sites do not crash the browser
Maybe its because you're trying to load a huge object (if its full HD +200Mb) in an android (limited) browser viewing the full site (not the mobile).
I suggest you open that videos with YouTube app and it should play without problem.
And you have the same issue when you use a different browser?

Haven't tried Dolphin as that browser is just a shell running on top of the default browser so it will crash regardless.
I can't get Flash to work on Opera Mobile.

Can anyone play Amazon Prime Instant videos after installing Android on Touchpad?
I've tried the latest XRON and CM7. Both installed flawlessly without any
issues.
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to be able to play Amazon Prime Instant
videos, no matter what browser I use. (Dolphin Mini, Dolphin HD,
Firefox, Opera Mini, etc...)
The videos stream fine on my PC and laptop... and even on my Touchpad
when booting into the default webOS.
Any help appreciated!
Try installing flash from the android market first
Works for me with CM7, Hulufied flash, and Maxthon for Tabs.

I do have Flash installed. Other Flash-based videos play just fine.
(YouTube, for example)
Uninstall flash and install the hulified flash.

Use a web browser that has desktop mode.
There is an app pulled from the Kindle Fire but I can't get it to work on the Touchpad since their app checks for root and refuses to work on CM7. Besides for that it would work fine

I currently have the most recent XRON on my Touchpad.
The Amazon prime instant video issue was resolved
after I forced the removal of the built-in Adobe Flash
and Dolphin HD browser. After a reboot, I downloaded
the official Adobe Flash and Dolphin HD browser from
the Adroid Market. Works fine now...

Don't have my Touchpad with me at the moment, but I think there's an
app called Titan-something... it's included in the XRON rom... it allowed
me to uninstall apps.
I tried that, but there is no.option to install from the marketplace. I'm stuck with no browser or flash now. Is there a way to force install?
Edit, just upload the API packages to your device and then you can install it.
How do u get the plug in necessary to view certain pages with the chrome browser..also i cannot view videos on certain sites in addition any "featured " links in google when clicked shows errors.. sorry im a chrome noob any help is appreciated..
Edit: websites show puzzle piece and says no plug in available to display this content
Because it is in a beta version, it lacks certain features and functionality. As of right now, there is no flash support. Later, they will most likely add this feature, but if you need flash now, you will need to use a different browser. My personal favorite at the moment is Boat Browser which is free on the market.
I have no issue going to youtube and playing videos via chrome.
I have also played my own websites flash slideshow via chrome without issue.

this + i have played a couple flash games on chrome on my prime. of course it was slow and not meant for touch input, but it DID work
Flash does not work for me and I believe it is not supported by Chrome. Surprised anyone has gotten it to work.
I obviously have a DX2 and I want the best flash for web video. I have tried 2 variants of 10.2 and the latest 10.3 release and nothing really works for ESPN3/watchespn sites. However, most other flash video sites work most of the time. The 11.x update seems to break all flash functionality on previous ROMs(stock 2.3.5 and eclipse 2.0.3). Any suggestions?
Im having issues on CM7 with the latest flash. It seems to freeze up on videos sometimes.
Which browser are you using? I use Dolphin HD and was noticing that some videos wouldn't load properly, so for kicks I tried a few links in the stock browser and they worked perfectly. I now use Dolphin for 90+% of my browsing and switch to the standard browser for videos that aren't working properly.
Edit: I am using Flash version 11.1
Thanks
I always used the latest dolphin hd browser. The stock browser does work with espn.com/watchespn a lot better.
I'm sticking with Adobe Flash 10.3 to try out the hulu.com dolphin hack stuffed in these forums somewhere. I'm wondering if anybody else has gotten it to play hulu.com videos and not the "we don't support your system" bs.
I've found that if you pinch resize a video in Dolphin HD, it will fix the video most of the time.
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone is having this problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII 4G, love this phone. However I have some issues when it comes to flash and streaming video stuff. I can seem to watch youtube videos just fine but trying to go to other sites that have flash or streaming videos, it just doesn't play at all. Also some sites with flash will only show up with a green arrow in the area where there's supposed to be a video. I have downloaded Adobe flash and Flash AIR. Have tried multiple browsers with all having the same problems. Is there a fix to this? Please help.
P.S. I know this isn't the right forum for this but I am also having this problem on my Viewsonic G-Tablet.
Thanks,
Afrowookie
Are you using the stock browser?
Try boat browser. Flash works great with it! You can also try updating flash in the market.

I have the most updated adobe flash. I have used the stock browser, firefox, dolphin and now opera. Opera seems to work the best for me, but like I said youtube videos work, but on other sites the videos don't even load, and the only way to watch some of them is by downloading them first and then viewing afterwards. I will try boat though, thanks for the reply.

Hi, I've got flash installed on my phone and want to watch youtube vids in firefox instead of the app so I can block the ads. So I disabled the app but I just get a blank screen.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Well I tried on dolphin browser, and here it is how it is done:
1. Install dolphin browser from Google play and run it then close it.
2. Install latest android adobe flash player apk (Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.69)) from this page.
3. In your phone, Go to data/data/mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser/shared_prefs/ folder and delete "mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser_preferences.xml"
4. Now open dolphin browser again ->settings -> web content -> turn flash player to ALWAYS ON... and wolla.. all flash contents are playable now.
Thanks. But I wanted Firefox. .
*bump*
