Sometimes my SMSes will fail to send and it informs me but I can't seem to find a way to resend it. There's no button, no link, nothing. Is there anyway to solve this? Like a way to have the resend option? Thanks in advance!

HI,
I had the same problem, but when i shut off WiFi, boom no more sms problems. I talked with tech support and they said that they are aware of this problem, a windows phone update is going to fix this problem. Hope this helps you.

Oh. Thanks for the tip. But sometimes even if I don't on WIFI, my SMS would still fail. Maybe coz if the signal or something. So I just wanted to know if there's a way to resend failed SMSes again manually, rather than the phone sending it by itself, which isn't really convenient as I sometimes have to wait for hours till it resends my sms again.

Sorry if this has already been brought up but I've had a quick look around but couldn't find anything, I would keep looking but it's costing me money!
Every time I send a text, receive a text or receive a call, my phone sends a message (it was a message I sent to my gf a few days ago) no matter who texts or calls me, or who I text that same message gets sent. It usually shows up in my Sent Messages folder. I tried deleting all my messages but it's still happening! I know a soft-reset will fix it but I'm reluctant to do that just yet. Is this a common problem? Is it fixable?
A soft reset will not do anything to your data so there is nothing wrong with trying that, although I doubt it will fix your problem.
A hard Reset will wipe out your data and return the device to original ROM condition (out of the box when new) - this will get rid of your problem, unless there is a hardware fault - worth a try. - Mike
Ah yeah, sorry I meant a hard reset, I've already tried a soft-reset. I guess this isn't a common problem then? I'll give it another day and see if anyone's got any ideas. Otherwise I guess it's a hard reset for me!

Iv tried the simcard in different phones and it works fine in them.
I haven't flashed the phone or anything like that, iv also tried to re-install the firmware but that hasn't fixed the problem.
Any ideas?

Seems like hardware issue. Send for repairs.
A couple of times a day when I am trying to send a SMS message, It says "Message not sent".
I then retry to send the message and it sends successfully.
It is quite annoying that this happens. Does anyone else have the same issue?

It's network dependent. The issue is not with your phone. If you are with AT&T (like I am) then, it is very normal. I would not worry about it too much.
Happens to me when I get poor signal. If your phone's getting poor signal when it shouldn't, then you have a problem.

It happens frequently when a text is coming in. Idk its just annoying as hell. FreeX10 2.2 beta2 didnt happen to much but if its normal, then ill have to suck it up

Yeah, it's very normal when a message is coming in and you are trying to send one out at the same time.

It should be a option to try to automatic resend a SMS that fails. Lets say the phone waits 1 min and then try to resend. If it fails the phone should make a popup with Q for us how to do...
I've been using Go Sms on my Tbolt, since the stock sms is a bit annoying. Sometimes when I don't have signal right when I hit send, I get a notification that WILL NOT go away without restarting the phone. It says something similar to 'currently unable to send your message. will attempt to send the message when the service is available' ..it's getting very very annoying. I know it's the app because one day I got fed up and uninstalled it, and the minute I hit uninstall.. it went away. I hate it because sometimes I can't see what's going on because the notification is at the bottom of the screen. I've emailed the developer for the app and no response. I've posted questions on HTC's Facebook page, I've asked the question in Yahoo answers, and I get nothing. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm getting so fed up with it that I just don't even text anyone anymore. I really really hope someone can help me with this.
not trying to be ignorant but why is that an issue? if it is telling you your text is not being sent, wouldn't you want to know that?
There is an option to disable outgoing message notifications. Have you tried unchecking that in the settings?
Not really a solution to your problem but I use handcent and its pretty decent.

Well, the problem is...the notification will never go away, even sometimes after the message sends. I've also went and looked in the application settings to see if there's anything causing it, and there's not. My boyfriend's Incredible doesn't do it and his settings are the same. I've tried Handcent and I don't like it. Oh well. I honestly don't know what it is. We finally complained enough to Verizon about our poor signal at home, so they're sending us a Network Extender and they took $50 off the price. We'll see if that helps.
Data works on my phone and I can receive texts, i just can't send texts or make phone calls. I tried installing a new ROM to see if that was it, but it did not fix. It started while i was on the phone with someone yesterday out of nowhere and it still doesn't work.
Hmm, no calls.. That sounds more like a bigdaddy619 question.
You may want to RUU back to stock and see if it works. But I would wait for another opinion before doing that.
