Media widget?
You could be more clear.
What does that widget do?
How it looks like?
From what phone is it?
What phone do you have?

Here is link to each widget you shown in your pic
But remember this widget works only with default launcher of SK17I
if you try it with other launchers then it won't work, you won't get that music player as well as picture browser shown in this pic but you will get that shortcut bar...
Note : If you are extracting this file on your handset then use androzip pro, astro file manager may fail to extract the files..
(SK17i and SK17a has same widgets )

I have installed ADW and found that it improves the UI a lot. But I have not found any way to put a shortcut to a contact directly on the home screen.
Is there a solution to this?
Should be able to add widget-> shortcut -> contact?

@knudsen81: Thank you. It was something like Launch-X I was looking for . It would have been nice to use the Pro version, but since I do not want to root my X10 it's not possible to pay for it .

Hi there is there a gallery app which one can flip through on one of the homescreens in the SGS2? or do I have to find that in the market?
and if so anyone recommend any good gallery apps?
Do you mean a widget? There are a few on the market but most only show an image of your choosing or a random one from the gallery.
oh, crud, I hope someone makes a widget like the one on the xperia arc
Here is the APK for the ARC widget.....if someone can port it ---COOL!!!
It will only work with the ARC Launcher though.

Hi, is it any possible to make a landscape homescreen on Sony Ericsson Home?
Yes it is Possible
Yes it is possible but with the help of third party App
in the market there is two free apps available
1) Go Launcher ex
and
2) AWD launcher
install any one i recommend the AWD launcher
after install it press the home button and select the AWD home screen
when AWD is applied you can change its settings by tab on settings / preference
here is the option to landscape mode.

Sorry but i think this is not true - installed the fw on my arc and there is no landscape mode for homescreen. As far as i know it´s only possible with the xperia Play and Neo
Confirm, still not possible in latest ARC (4.0..) version. Unfortunately

Not on the Neo. I have one and it doesn't work in Landscape just by turning the phone.
Landscape on the launcher is ONLY activated if you
- slide open the keyboard/keypad (Pro and Play only obviously)
- dock the phone (all models)
Sony ericsson announced Homescreen landscape but it is only working on HDMI mode
i downloaded the leaked home.apk from sony and it did have the landscape mode. though the new firmware doesn't have it

For me the Landscape mode works fine for phone dialer, Call log etc. but not the Launcher
So the feature exist, only a dev should enable it.
I hope someone will fix this
Kind regards,
Vintiem

Until now New version[.368] not available for Play.
When it released,we can try that launcher in our ARC.
So landscape works for the keypad but what if you are doing a text search on contacts?
After clicking on the contacts text search can you flip the keypad to landscape?
(questions referring to non-physical keypad xperia arc, neo or ray)
Edit: I played with an Arc and have confirmed this shortcoming. At some stage you are stuck with a full qwerty in portrait mode. Guess it would be the same for a Ray
Hi Friends...!
I'm searching for a widget and a mod for ICS on XMP
First, I guess many of you realized that "Photo and videos widget" now in ICS for XMP is very "small", instead a bigger, nicer version for GB. Has anyone tried to port it to ICS? Just in case you don't know what I mean, take a look at this http://communities-origin.sonyericsson.com/message/190104
Second request, for ICS too, is that "effect" of old CRT TVs when you turn them off. Is it possible to add?
Thanks to all!

I have a big widget only!!! On my Mini! Many people complain about the small widget but i have the bigger one
So... nobody knows about it?
I think u can resize widgets on ics.isnt it?
Sent from my WT19i using xda premium
I mean, that Widget was "large" on GB. Now, with ICS update, it became very small, so you can't watch them clearly.
Also, there's a mod when you turn off the screen, it looks like a old TV turning off... that mod was within Notification Widgets, and it looks nice and I'd like to have it.

Hi everyone.
The big photos and videos widget is one of my favorite widget too. And after i updated to ICS for my xperia active, it disappeared. Actually, the new android 4.04 only has the small one.
One pal share me the apk file, and i attached it in this reply. BUT you may need to do a little trick.
Firstly, install the widget. When you add it on Home Screen, there are two choices "large or small", choose Large one of course. After that your device will get bug when access page contain that widget , but don't worry about that.
Secondly, use the original uninstall or any 3rd apps, uninstall that widget.
Finally, back to the home screen, the photos and videos fill your screen.
Work for me, st17i ICS 4.1.b.0.431.
It works, thanks
This means if anyhow we can resize the widget, our work will be done xD
No one for CRT?

Hello Everyone
I just recently migrated from my old HTC Hero to brand new Xperia U.
Everything is fine and dandy, but I just can't live with standard Timescape Facebook widget. It is too small (2x4 icon).
I looked for a bigger (4x4) version, but I failed to find it.
Are there any modified Timescape widgets I failed to find ?
I managed to find 3x4 agenda widget that wasn't installed by default, and it's great.
I hope that someone could help me with my problem, as I wouldn't want to install any addisional software.
Thanks !

That, maybe.
Thanks for help.
I used to use Colorize Widgets in order to get good agenda and facebook widget.
I was hoping thre is more .. standard.. timescape widget, just enlarged
Thanks anyway!
Most people delete timescape once rooted because it's poo. Lol

It was great at first, but then quick root, custom rom and ADW launcher
We will ee what will come out of this Xperia
