Someone got a free prime. - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

So, I get up this morning and checked my tracking number and it showed as delivered and left by side door. Odd, I dont have a side door! Go outside and sure enough no package. Best buy has put a trace on it but I'm sure I won't see it. And she tells me they are of course out of stock. They are supposed to try and contact the driver and find where he left it. Gotta love UPS.

Open the package when the ups man comes. That happened to a cell phone I ordered through tmobile except when I opened it, the phone was gone. Only the box with charger and manuals were inside.

Prime located at neighbors house and safely in my possession. Updates done and getting it setup now. No light bleed, wifi is fine, tablet is amazing.

What about GPS? How accurate is the fix when WiFi is off? (or in flight mode)

Could not get a lock without wifi. But that is not a big deal to me. I have no use for GPS on my tablet. Also, I had an issue with my thrive where I could not download any game that required additional files to be downloaded after the game was installed. It would always fail. This issue is not present on my prime.

I ordered a ipod a few years back from Best Buy and it was shipped by Canadian Post. I was tracking it and the day it said delivered I checked my postal box and no package. I gave the postman my tracking number and he checked on his system and it was signed for and picked up. He showed me the signature and it was just some scribbles. They told me since it was signed for that they can't do nothing for me. I showed them my signature on my drivers license and asked them if it matched. Of course it didn't but they still never did anything.

I had to call best buy to get the process started, the gal I spoke with was awesome. She called ups and conferanced them in on the call. They say they would send a message to the driver and I would hear back within the hour. About twenty min later the local ups office called and said they talked to the driver and he described the house where it was left. I told the gal that house was two houses down and I would go there and look. Sure enough it was just inside the screen door. Opened door, grabbed package, happy camper.

As long as you get your money back, then I say good riddence....GPS problem...want to return mine, can't since I bought at gamestop.
