This is what im after ... but for the prime http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Leathe...2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1325713011&sr=1-2

I can't post links to outsite sites, but Amazon has the case you are looking for. I ordered mine yesterday. Should be here next week. Just go to Amazon and search for "Poetic(TM) StandBook Stand Leather Case with Angle Adjustable for Asus Eee Pad Prime TF201 Black".

http://www.amazon.com/VERTEKS-Transformer-10-1-Inch-Multi-Angle-Slim-Fit/dp/B006OJ68AM/ref=lh_ni_t

Ahhh ... there is hope !!
Sadly, its not on the UK site yet but at least it shouldnt be long untill i can get one in the UK
Cheers folks !

Here's the Poetic case for the Prime

Hmmm Should I order that VERTEKS case or the Poetic one? Both look nice since they don't cover the bezel. The Poetic one looks like a weird material. I can't enlarge the photo through amazon though so I'm not sure what type of material it is.
Danny -B- Can you post photos of your TF101 poetic case? does it look like it's the same material? can you describe it? thanks!

I've got the same dilemma. Looks like you'd get the Poetic one faster since it's in stock while the Verteks won't be shipping out until 1/18. I'm just wondering if one is more quality than the other.

I'll try post some pics when i get home.
The poetic case i have is for the Tf101, but its real leather not some cheap crap.
The inside is a kinda felt feel, almost like a micro fibre cloth and the ridged parts that hold the device up have a hard(possibly metal) lip so the TF sits in the position without falling.

Are the Blurex and Poetic cases exactly the same, just rebranded?

Very slight differences, like where the camera cutout is... on the blurex its more of a V shape, nothing that makes any difference to us but possibly got patents

Gotcha. I'm about to place an order for the Poetic case right now since since they actually have them in stock. Thanks.

Cool !
Let us know what you think when it arrives.

Got an email from Blurex that they should have a case ready for the Prime in about a week.

Urgh, ordered the folio-style, THEN discovered this thread. Gonna have to see how the reviews pan out. O well, only a $10 case anyway (or 1.5 beers/a cab ride/one lunch in NYC).

Hi,
Anyone knows another place to buy the poetic case?
Amazon UK doesn't deliver to Spain.
Thanks

These two are very similar at Amazon (sorry, as a newbie can't post links yet):
MoKo(TM) Premium Quality Slim-Fit Folio Cover Case with built-in Multi-Angle Stand for Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 10.1-Inch Android Tablet
ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 MiniSuit 3-View PU Leather Case and Cover with Keyboard Port Access (Black). LCD Cleaner Included
I have ordered the first one after the comments on another thread here.
I live in Madrid and both can be delivered to Spain.

thanks lucpol but I have the tf101 not the prime...
Are these compatible with the tf101?
thanks

This is the Primer thread, that is why I assumed you had the prime.

Thinnest Folio Case?

Can anyone recommend a thin folio case? All of the ones I have looked at so far seem to be made of padded leather material. Any very streamlined versions? Not looking for elastic corners.
thanks for any tips!
I'm with you on this one, I definitely want something that isn't too thick. What's all out there / what's coming out to fit this bill?
The Asus OEM case is pretty thin...I just ordered a new custom case called either Folioguard or PRIME and appears to be pretty thin.
Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow ...I'll post my opinion after some time with it.

The ASUS OEM case is about as thin as you will probably get. The material seems to be some sort of rubber or vinyl. Without the case I didn't like the feel of the back of the tab at all but the case makes it perfectly acceptable.
My only gripe with ASUS OEM case (besides price) is it gets "dirty" easy but a damp cloth easily cleans it. Got mine from B&H photo in NY.

Picking a sleeve. Final answer.

I've been looking into getting a sleeve for my TFP + dock. I've narrowed it down to these two:
Case Logic PLS-9 Ultraportable Netbook Sleeve for 7-Inch to 10-Inch Netbooks
http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-PLS-9-Ultraportable-Netbooks/dp/B001F7HI02
and
Targus A7 Slipcase Designed to Protect 10.2-Inch Netbooks
http://www.amazon.com/Targus-Slipcase-Designed-10-2-Inch-TSS109US/dp/B002NU5O2O
From what I can tell the Targus seems a bit more rugged but the Case Logic has really stood the test of time with more users and has the outside pocket.
Can anyone attest to either of these or offer high praise for another?
Thanks.
ahh thank you so much. I've been looking for a good sleeve for my prime as well. I think I'll go with the Case Logic.
My problem with both of these is that they've got a zipper. I find that it's inevitable that I will scratch my TFP up too much if there is a zipper on the pouch.

I use the Targus A7 in conjunction with my Transleeve.
I have the Targus sleeve also. It is very padded, even around the zipper. I have used it for about two weeks and have noticed no scratching. It holds the docked prime snugly and zips securely.

I'm looking for something like USA Gear FlexSleeve Neo-Cushion Protective Cover Case Guard for ASUS Transformer Prime too. It's sold out right now.

That is the best one I've found where there's no zipper for the tablet pouch, but yeah...alas,...it's sold out.
I use the case logic one with prime and dock. I have it in my backpack with textbooks daily and it works great. I'm not necessarily careful with it either...

What is the thinnest folding case available?

What is the thinnest folding case available
I am looking for a case for the 300 that is as thin as possible. I really only care about scratch protection, I don't expect it to protect from drops (not that most case will provide that protection anyways). I do need it to have a stand function to watch movies. Since this is already thicker than prime I want to minimize that as much as possible.
Even the cheapie vinyl thin case that came bundled with the Acer a500 at costco would be fine. It was very thin.
The case I have for my ipad2 is tapered at the edges to keep the profile as thin as possible instead of being just squared off at the side edges. In other words, it should wrap around the side edges like a glove.
i just ordered the MOKO slim fit case from amazon. I hope this caters to your needs. it's slim and tough enough to even withstand drops.

decent but not quite what I am looking for. The case you are talking about clips or hooks onto the tablet in about4 to 6 areas (4 corners plus maybe 2 additional top and bottom). It leaves alot of the edge exposed. On th eplus side it is usually a hard back case so decent protetion.
However, what I had in mind is a case that slips all around the edges of the tablet. Most cases are designed like this but except what I have in mind would be slimmer with the edges tapered to match the edge of the tablet but still wrapping the entire tablet (except at the ports). Hard to tell, but I think this case fits that description but it is for tf101 only:

Honestly? I am still waiting for something the like the shell+smartcover that my mom's Ipad has. That really is brilliant stuf.
For now I found this to be the thinnest sleeve/cover/whatever
Urbanflip series on HandiHeldItems
I have one and had to adjust the hole for the headphone jack.
But it works pretty good, is a lot thinner that some other case I bought and has a cut out for the charger.
But an Ipad-like smartcover .. to me that's the bomb

Wow, that's almost exactly what I'm looking for - just with the ability to use it with the dock! They have this one on their site that does just that:
HHI Keyboard Case with Slim Portfolio Stand Cover for Asus Transformer Pad TF300
I have a carbon fiber leather case for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and won't buy another case unless it's the same material, it looks so slick and resists scratches and hides dirt like no other case. Since getting it, I've taken out the tablet probably 3 times!
Good find!

These are nice! To bad the carbon fiber one won't be out until June 18!
From my long awaited and totally worth it EVO LTE!
All 3 of these are pretty much the same and is the thinnest case out in the market:

http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-Fit...57RI/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1338346673&sr=8-8
I found what I was looking for but unfrtunately it is only for TF101
http://www.amazon.com/rooCASE-Leath...8517&sr=8-1&keywords=roocase+tf101+tf300+slim
I also found a similar case on Ebay but it looks slitghtly cheap. I wish it wasn't microsuede:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-Transf...?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item3cc88b0bbc
This case is also very thin but I can't find it anywhere outside of the wholesale site:

Have One, Love It
I've had the roocase for 6 months now, and I have to tell you I love it. If you're primary concern is protection, is is superb. The inner sleeve (that the tablet actually fits into) makes it super easy to hold on to. Put it in the main case, prop it up for easy hands free reading or watching a movie.
Just thought I'd share my opinion. These cases used to be really expensive. I'm at work, and they have Amazon blocked so I can't see if it's exactly the same case, but mine is leather. Has zippered outer case, and sleeve that fits inside.

Recommendations for a case

Hello, im looking for a case that while the pad is in it i can still attach the dock.
The other feature im looking for is that it supports a vertical display, and if possible, is thin.
Thank you for your time
Why not just scroll down through the 10 other posts with countless cases and recommendations
I did look through them, I only found 2 that might match
a moko rotating detachable case, though it has a strap and idk if the dock can be attached
The other one i found was a rooCASE and again idk if the dock will attach
