The *best*, nicest, complete Transformer Prime and Dock case I've been able to find is coming February:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1406624
I've not been able to find anything available earlier that's built explicitly for the Prime. There's plenty of original Transformer cases, but the dock dimensions aren't quite the same:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371532&highlight=dock+case
This is their TF101 original Transformer design:

This case has me rather confused.. It's listed as being up for preorder, but neglects to mention which model its for. It has customer reviews going as far back as one year ago, suggesting it was designed for the tf101. The model in the stock photos are of the tf101 / dock. The dimensions are different enough that a tf101 case + dock case would not be a good fit for the tf201. (tf101= 271 x 176.8 x 12.98 mm; tf201=263 x 180.8 x 8.3 mm).
Is this a case being updated, and thus the preorder situation - yet no information has updated to suggest that, beyond it being a preorder. Or is this just the stars aligning in a confusing manner, with them restocking the case for the original transformer, during a time where folks are trying to hunt down something that fits the new transformer prime?
It's a shame, because it's probably the nicest case out there, but looks like it might be stuck in the previous generation.

Dumb overlook - I deleted the original link and put one to discussion where someone had contacted Tuff-luv.
I contacted them back on 11/22 asking about availability and got the following:
We will be getting these but not for 4-5 weeks. Please check back then for availability.

i decided to purchase this for my transformer and i just got the case today. the price to me was pretty good, the quality of this carrying case or bag is great. i am not sure how many people just went for the tablet itself or intend to purchase it along with the docking keyboard. I plan on getting my tablet with the docking keyboard and from the looks of it right now, there should be enough room to fit them both inside this case nicely. i fit my tablet in there and there is still room to spare. there is also separate zipper compartment for other small accessories. flash drives, charging cables... etc. everything should fit fine. they also have a brown one available but that cost a few bucks extra, it might even match up with the transformer well. but i went for the black to save a few bucks and you can't really go wrong with black. while this is a bit thicker than just a plan sleeve, i feel it doesn't really show in this case. it looks slim for all the room it has. there are handles to make it easy to carry and even an additional/optional body strap included. i am sure this may not be for everyone but if it helps a few people, that would be great.

Glad to hear you like it. I plan to use it with the keyboard, so I'm looking forward to this case.
i bought the same one!
@OP
Thanks for sharing your experience with this product. I just ordered a brown one off Amazon; looks to me like it matches the brownish color hue of the Transformer & dock very well. I went for both so something that could cary and protect my investment safely.

Down to $13.22!
For the black version that is.
Could someone please confirm it that a TF101 with dock will fit this bag? As none of the posters had the dock or case to check it for real.

I have this case also and I can confirm that the docked Transformer fits. For the price it really is a nice case.
Guys,
Yesterday I saw one of my co-workers with a Silicone case for his iPad2 and really called my attention. When I asked him, he told me he got it from Monoprice.com. It's made by them.
If you are familiar with the site, you will know they make top notch products at very low price.
I have always been a customer from that site so today I E-mailed them to see if they can make the Silicone cases for the Prime.
I would suggest to also help me out E-mailing them and asking for the Silicone case. You never know, they could make one for us if they see high demand
Here is the link you can use:

Done. I hope they hook it up!
Please, make a tpu case for the Asus transformer prime tf201. Tons of people are interested and would purchase immediately. If you make it quickly your company would be the first to offer it for the Asus prime and therefore would reep the benefits.
I would also post links on xda developers .com as well
Thanks

im also a monoprice customer. email sent.
Shouldn't we at least see an example photo of what it is we are being asked to ask them for? As far as I know, it is some corny POS design.

I would actually much rather see this style of case created for the TF Prime:

Its basically a smart cover with a plastic back.
Thanks Guys!!! Let's make this happen
This is the one my friend had and it looked pretty bad ass for $ 3.94 also I checked the material and it looked of very good quality.

That's actually pretty awesome too
How about asking them to make a usb cable with the Asus connector on it while you are asking for stuff?
Well... I got a reply from them
Hello folks,
So recently I've noticed a lot of hesitation on these forums when it comes to purchasing accessories for our new Primes.
I'm here to speak for those of us who need instant gratification in order to feel that a product is satisfying enough to actual spend money on. I, like most people, need to go "hands on" before buying a product of any kind.
Anyway, without further adieu...

Now... keep in mind, this case was only $30. And I managed to discover it at a local Best Buy. Obviously, it's for the original Transformer. However, it works like a dream, containing it properly, without any room to slide around or malfunction.
It's an excellent case, with premium feel to it, and offers the functionality of a "kickstand" to provide exceptional viewing angles and comfort in your lap.
The port cutouts, ironically happen to match-up with the body of the Prime quite well.
As for the interior, the finish is a soft, suede material that is lining the entire surrounding area in which your tablet will rest.
All-in-all, I'm very happy with my purchase and find it to be a suitable alternative to housing protection until I can get my hands on the keyboard dock.
I hope this brief, off-topic (somewhat) review was helpful, to someone out there.
Ciao!

Very helpful!
Thanks for the post. Does the strap get in the way of the power button or volume buttons?

Just slightly, but it's a sacrifice that I'm willing to make because the case is great and affordable. Not to mention, it can be found in most Best Buy locations.
It's worth a shot if you're trying to find a case for basic transport that is also functional.

I ordered the same leather case but made for the transformer Prime from Amazon. I think it's out of stock now but mine has already been shipped.
Update: It's now back in stock

Not even close.
Has anyone thought of using an iPad Sock as a light case for their Transformer Prime?
I have checked the dimensions (10."x5.3" (stretchy)), and even though the Prime is a little longer than the iPad it looks like these socks will fit perfectly on the TF Prime.
I know, I know, these socks are intended for that other tablet but considering how cheaply they can be has on eBay and also considering that they come in nice colors I figured I would buy one and give it a try.
I had been considering the Transleeve, but I just can bear to spend $40 on something I know will suck and these looked like a nice alternative.
Anyway, these are all over eBay for next to nothing:

(p.s. I plan on cutting off that tag! )
I actually use two iPad cases for my transformer... one sock (fits snug, but works) and a neo pouch kinda thing.
They work just fine!

Does the iPad sock completely cover the Prime? From the specs I found for these socks it looks like they should be just about a perfect fit but it would be nice to have confirmation
Just got my first Pad Sock and it fits the Prime pretty well:
It was a little short so I had to stretch it out a bit (rolled it up, pulled it like taffy), but this looks like it will be the perfect alternative to the problematic Transleeve. Just FYI, my Prime is inside of the sock in the photo above.
Also, this sock didn't have an unfortunate tag that needed removing
All in all, not bad for about $4.
I use the case logic pls9 neoprene sleeve myself for just tablet sometimes and also tablet and dock. It is less than 20 from Amazon and fits perfectly. Just another option if interested.
Have a quick question for ya all. I'm at Best Buy right now and only have the the Zagg Shields for the TF300 and the TF700 ... will the TF300 fit the Prime?
Yes the TF300 will cover the screen. It does have that extra hole for the front cam or whatever that is but it will work I use it currently for my prime as well.. Stupid Best Buy.

Lol im using a protector from the galaxy tab 10 its slightly smaller than my screen but works none the less. The 300 and 200 and 700 pretty much have identical shaped and sized screens, dont let the sales staff tell you otherwise. You MAY be missing a cutout for a camera or something but in my experience it doesnt make much difference.
Heres is a full body skin I have on order. I bought this brand for my galaxy s2 and its still holding up fairly well.

I usually try to avoid full body shields as dirt and dust usually starts to creep into the wrap making it look incredibly dirty
Ok, so here is a weird update. I have had the Zagg shield on for some time now, is it me, or does it seem to have shrunk? Has anyone else experienced this? Have a look ...
